• PHP Include Not Working on One Page

  So, I finally got the PHP include function to work by tweaking the .htaccess file yesterday. The index shows up perfectly. But get this, I duplicate the index.html file, rename it and upload it as another page (as a template to work from) and now the PHP include function is not working on that page, even though it's exactly the same code hosted on the same server with the same .htaccess file. • Have I found a security problem in an API or do I just not understand SSL?

  I'm working on building a set of Python bindings around an XML-based API provided by a vendor. The vendor requires that all transactions be conducted over SSL. Using a Linux box, I created a key file and a CSR for my application. Using their self-service web portal, I then generate a certificate using that CSR. Both the key file and the certificate are used when making the SSL request to the API. I'm now working on designing exception classes to make error messages more verbose (and, hopefully, more useful to developers using my bindings). Part of my testing has included altering the key file: transpose a couple characters here, replace 4 or 5 with random characters there, etc. To my surprise, altering the key file had no effect! As long as I didn't change the total length of it, the API didn't complain about a bad key file. The only way I was able to throw an error was by swapping in a completely different key from another application. At that point, the API complained about the Common Name not matching. Is this normal behavior or has the vendor not properly implemented SSL?

  We have a requirment which requires to have an Handler that is extended from Java logging and allows to have the files rotated on daily basis. Currently Java util logging do have the support of rotation based on file size by using File Handler. And other questions are , is there way we can configure 2 different files for a single handler say FileHandler say for eg , we would like some kind of messages need to be captured in one file and other messages in other file. • How can my-program.hs get its version number from my-program.cabal at build time?

  I would like my cabalised program to have a --version switch. I would like it to report the same version as is present in the .cabal file. If I have to update the version number separately in my Haskell source code as well as in the .cabal file, I will eventually get them out of sync. So, how can my program, while being compiled under cabal, get its version number from the .cabal file?

• C++ forward declaration problem

  Hi, I have a header file that has some forward declarations but when I include the header file in the implementation file it gets included after the includes for the previous forward declarations and this results in an error like this. error: using typedef-name ‘std::ifstream’ after ‘class’ /usr/include/c++/4.2.1/iosfwd:145: error: ‘std::ifstream’ has a previous declaration. I know you can use IE to analyse the xml log file, and we get a visual generate by the xsl file, but my xml log file have 97 MO and the IE performance is not got.   I'm trying to figure out what type of database uses these specific .dat and .idx files. When I view the .dat files using a binary file reader I see Record Schema followed by somewhat decipherable data names. A little further down I see Key Schema whch apears to be a comma separated list of clear text references. Each .dat file has a matching .idx file. Each .dat file contains the phrase "Record Schema" and "Key Schema" as described above. How would I convert these files so I can use them in an SQL database?

• Outlook 2007 addins for filtering attachments accordingly to recipients.

  My question is that I need to send attached mail to domain users and non domain users. Domain users will receive .lnk of the attached file where as non domain users will receive physical file. Now I am doing by capturing send event of outlook and internally divided mail in two parts for domain users I crated .lnk of the file and attached it and sent to user. Where as for non domain users i attached the physical file and sent to the user. But these things are done by sending two mails internally so I am not able to maintain CC, BCC information. I need to do these things in one mail. So it is possible in outlook addins to filter attachments accordingly to recipients.

• RegisterClientScriptInclude doesn't work for some reason...

  Hey, I've spent at least 2 days trying anything and googling this...but for some reason I can't get RegisterClientScriptInclude to work the way everyone else has it working? First off, I am usting .NET 3.5 Ajax,...and I am including javascript in my partial page refreshes...using this code: ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(this, typeof(Page), "MyClientCode", script, true); It works perfectly, my javascript code contained in the script variable is included every partial refresh. The javascript in script is actually quite extensive though, and I would like to store it in a .js file,..so logically I make a .js file and try to include it using RegisterClientScriptInclude ...however i can't for the life of my get this to work. here's the exact code: ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptInclude(this, typeof(Page), "mytestscript", "/js/testscript.js"); the testscript.js file is only included in FULL page refreshes...ie. when I load the page, or do a full postback....i can't get the file to be included in partial refreshes...have no idea why..when viewing the ajax POST in firebug I don't see a difference whether I include the file or not.... both of the ScriptManager Includes are being ran from the exact same place in "Page_Load"...so they should execute every partial refresh (but only the ScriptBlock does). anyways,..any help or ideas,..or further ways I can trouble shoot this problem, would be appreciated. • XML over HTTP with JMS and Spring

  I have a legacy HTTP server where I need to send an XML file over HTTP request (POST) using Java (not browser) and the server will respond with another XML in its HTTP response. It is similar to Web Service but there's no WSDL and I have to follow the existing XML structure to construct my XML to be sent. I have done a research and found an example that matches my requirement here. The example uses HttpClient from Apache Commons. (There are also other examples I found but they use java.net networking package (like URLConnection) which is tedious so I don't want to use them). But it's also my requirement to use Spring and JMS. I know from Spring's reference that it's possible to combine HttpClient, JMS and Spring. My question is, how? Note that it's NOT in my requirement to use HttpClient. If you have a better suggestion, I'm welcome. Appreciate it.   Hi, I am writing a C++ program which needs to create a temporary file for its internal usage. I would like to allow concurrent executions of the program by running multiple proccesses, so the temporary file name needs to be randomized, that way each spawned process will generate a unique temporary file name for its own use. I am using rand() to generate random characters for part of the file name, so i need to initialize the random number generator's seed using srand(). What options are there for passing a good argument to srand() such that two processes will not be initialized with the same seed value? My code needs to work both on Windows and pn Linux TIA.

  I would like to do the following two things: 1) I would like to play an audio file qhen a nib is loaded 2) After that i would like to switch views when the audio file has finished playing. This will be easy as i just need to call the event that initiates the change of view by using the delegate method -(void) audioPlayerDidFinishPlaying{ //code to change view } I dont know how to to play the audio file when a nib is loaded.   I've got an app, written in Obj-C. The info.plist has a list of file types that the app can open. I'm pretty sure that this is working because when I try to drag a file of an unacceptable type, the app doesn't highlight, but when I drag a file of an acceptable type, it does highlight, and lets me drop. When I drop, the app starts up, correctly, however, then I get a dialog saying: The document "foo.tiff" could not be opened. DocView cannot open files in the "TIFF File" format.   Hello According to RFC, in multipart/form-data content-disposition header filename field receives as parameter HTTP quoted string - string between quites where character '\' can escape any other ascii character. Problem web browsers don't do it. IE6 sends: Content-Disposition: form-data; name="file"; filename="z:\tmp\test.txt" Instead of expected Content-Disposition: form-data; name="file"; filename="z:\\tmp\\test.txt" Which should be parsed as z:tmptest.txt according to rules instead of z:\tmp\test.txt. Firefox, Konqueror and Chrome don't escape " characters for example: Content-Disposition: form-data; name="file"; filename=""test".txt" Instead of expected Content-Disposition: form-data; name="file"; filename="\"test\".txt" So... how would you suggest to deal with this issue?

  I have a ASP .NET load balanced application (webservice and website). It runs on SQL server. I need to be able to provide large files for download. However, because of the load balancing situation, the files are stored in the SQL database as opposed to the file system. BITS seems to be the best approach. I have full control of the client. However, i don't know how to configure BITS to read the file from the database. I know how to write the C# code for that, but i don't know how to get BITS to hook into it as opposed to reading the file from the file system. Any ideas?
