  MSDN states the following SortedSet(T).Add Method : If Count is less than the capacity of the internal array, this method is an O(1) operation. Could someone please explain "how so"? I mean when adding new value we need to find a correct place to add a value (comparing it with another values) and internal implementation looks like a "Red-Black tree" with O (log N) insertion complexity.

  I've seen a few instances now where web applications are letting try them out without you having to sign-up (though to save you need to of course). example: trial at http://minutedock.com/ I'm wondering about doing this for my own web app and the fundamental question is whether to store their info into sessions or into a temp user table? The temp user table would allow logging and potentially be less of a hit on the server correct? Is there a best practice here?

If now = 25-Apr-2010 10pm, cron expression "0 15 10 ? * *" (quartz) should return me 25-Apr-2010 10:15am I do not care if we use standard cron expressions (like Unix and Quartz) or less popular ones if they can fetch me the correct "Last Fired Time"

  If I have a constructor with say 2 required parameters and 4 optional parameters, how can I avoid writing 16 constructors or even the 10 or so constructors I'd have to write if I used default parameters (which I don't like because it's poor self-documentation)? • Eclipse: Should I create a workspace for each project ?

  I am simply wondering whether it is best to put all of my Eclipse projects into one workspace, or do a 1 workspace per 1 project. I am just a solo developer, for hobby more or less, but the apps I create do actually have production versions that are running on rather frequent cron jobs, so its almost like an amateur production environment. The only problems I have noticed so far is for exporting JARs, I have the potential to include source files from other projects which seems like it could get messy (maybe?).

Some of the clients are programmed even in ruby or tcl/tk, which IMO aren't good OSX citizens in regard of integration in the OS.   I am trying to save the value "6.714285714285714" into a DOUBLE datatype field. Unfortunately it does not fit at all and is cutted by one char. Storing larger numbers becomes less precise. Already searched in the mysql manual and it seems to be that double is the most precise data type available. Anyone knows a practicable workaround? Sorry for my bad english and thx a lot!

  Given the following query: (field:value1 OR field:value2 OR field:value3 OR ... OR field:value50) Can this be broken down into something less verbose? Basically I have hundreds of category IDs, and I need to search for items under large groups of category IDs (20-50 at a time). In MySQL, I'd just use field IN(value1, value2, value3) rather than (field = value1 OR field = value2 etc...). Is there a simpler way for Solr/Lucene?
