    Suppose I have a set of data, given the data and the relation schemas can I assume that the set of data is normalized in one form or the other. In my opinion raw data given, has to be normalized into some form. However a discussion with a friend has led to ask me this question here. To expound more on the question, I would say given a set of functional dependencies for a relation or table, is it guaranteed that the table would atleast be in 1NF if not others

    Hi I have a table with two columns: column A column B 1 2 1 2 2 1 I want to return total of ones = 3 total of twos = 3 The best I can come up with is two queries like so: SELECT sum( CASE WHEN columnA =1 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END ) + sum(CASE WHEN columnB =1 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END ) SELECT sum( CASE WHEN columnA =2 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END ) + sum(CASE WHEN columnB =2 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END ) Can this be done in one query?     I have this in my controller: ViewBag.PriceListId = new SelectList(m_db.PriceLists, "Id", "Name", us.PriceListId); It contains two values now, but I want to enable the user to choose only the second value, and just if he does something else - allow him choose one of the both values. How do I omit the first value, and add and set him to default after that? Shoud I do it in my controller or use jquery? Thank in advance.

It prints nil in console screen.... If I can make it visible in History class, I display those selected items on table. Please help me !!!
