  • write c++ in latex, noob latex question

    maybe is a noob question but i can't find the solution in the web, i need to write C++ in Latex. I write C$++$ but the result is like crap, the signs are too big and there is too much space between C and the first plus sign. Previously i needed to write the sharp symbol for C#....c$\sharp$ it also looks like crap but with a escape character it looks nice, for the plus sign i can't do the same.

  • Disable #pragma message("")

    Hi, I needed to include in my project but there is a line, in glut.h which is #pragma message("Note: including lib: glut32.lib\n") It is really annoying and I want to get rid of it when compiling. I could just remove the line in my glut.h but I want my fix to be independent of the glut.h. I have tried setting #pragma warnings to show only critical info, and I have also tried #pragma message disable but nothing worked. Any help?

    Hi, I don't know if it's appropriate to ask for this but I really need to know what's the initial content of /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/conf/httpd.include on Godaaddy's VDS because the conf directory was accidentally deleted by somebody and now I cannot start Apache. We didn't purchase an assited service plan so Godaddy won't help me with this. So please, if you're using Godaddy's VDS plan, please help me with this. ** I also need to include in httpd.conf the lines needed for Plesk to work. Thanks a lot

    Hi folks, I code primarily in PHP and Perl. I have a client who is insisting on seeking video submissions (any encoding) from the public via one of their pages rather than letting YouTube do its job. Server in question is a virtual machine and I can adjust ini settings for max post, max upload size etc as needed. My initial thought is to use a Flash based uploader with PHP on the back end but I wondered if someone might have useful advice and experience on the subject? Peace JG

    If you needed a clean and consistent sandbox for pathfinding what would you use? I want to experiment with different pathfinding algorithms by sending virtual units (robots) around obstacles on a geometric plane. But I don't need a feature overkill like a game engine or Flash might have, just an animated report and native collision detector. I prefer it to be scripted in python, but if there are java or C++ alternatives I would appreciate them as well.

    Hi, Is there a way in NHibernate to get the foreign key of a child object, without fetching the child object? EG. I have User and UserRole. Can I access User.UserRole.UserRoleId without causing another hit on the database to retrieve UserRole? I realize I can set fetch mode to eager and this will stop it from hitting the database again, but theoretically this shouldn't be needed, as the User table has UserRoldId in it. Thanks in advance.

However I find it very hard to find free toolbar/ribbon XAML images that you can use in your own projects.     I am trying to use reflection to access some advanced features of the telephony api not published. Currently I am having trouble instantiating a serviceManager object that is needed to get the "phone" service as a binder which I can then use to instantiate a telephony object which is needed to make a call, end call, etc... currently when I make the call serviceManagerObject = tempInterfaceMethod.invoke(null, new Object[] { new Binder() }); it returns a nullPointerException.     Hopefully I can explain this well enough, but please let me know if more information is needed! I'm building a form where a user can create an "incident". This incident has the following relationships: belongs_to: customer (customer has_many incidents) belongs_to: user (user has_many incidents) has_one: incident_status (incident_status belongs to incident) The form allows the user to assign the incident to a user (select form) and then select an incident status. The incident is nested in customer. Completed in 55ms (DB: 0) | 302 Found [http://localhost/customers/4/incidents] It looks to me like it's trying to gather information about the user, even though it already has the id (which is all it needs to create the incident), and the user may not have permission to do a select statement like that? I'm rather confused. So in summary, when I submit the incident creation form, it does not save the incident because it halts. I'm still very new to rails, so my skill at diagnosing problems like this is still very bad.
