• UIView drawing problem.

  Hi everyone, I have this big problem that i dont know how to fix. I have a UIView that i want to draw a scrolling background on. I am using NSTimer to update 30 frames per second but it seems to redraw one frame every 8 seconds. I am calling [self setNeedsDisplay] but it has no effect. I cant figure out why this is happening, does anyone have any tips? Thanks for your time.

  My hardware (video capture card) gives me the images in YV12 (YUV 420) format and I am trying to generate a video from it. I am using C++ under windows and I would like to generate a mpeg-4 VBR video from that stream but I dont know where I should start... (I need it to be VBR because it is a security camera and there will be a lot of repeated frames) Is there any library that does something like this?

  Hi, I have a common script which Im including in my php cron files and the files which are accessing through the browser. Some part of the code, I need only for non cron files. How can I detect whether the execution is from CLI or through browser (I know it can be done by passing some arguments with the cron files but I dont have access to crontab). Is there any other way ?   I know that there are simmilar questions like this on the forum, however I am still having problems to update a datetime field o the database. I dont get any problems when inserting but I get problems when updating and I am formating the same way , like this: e.Values.Item("SelectionStartDate") = Format(startdate, "yyyy-MM-dd") + " " + startTime1 + ".000" startTime is of type string. I have tried different solution that I came across on the internet but still get this error. Please help. Thanks in advance

• Cruise control merging problem

  Hi all, I am using cruise control which generated a particular output which is in text file format.So with the help of nant i am copying this file to another .xml of the same name in some other folder structure and i am using the file merge task which merges this output with my log files.I am also able to see this output merged in my webdashboard.Now i want this same output i.e .xml to be attached in may mail too.So is there anyway i can get this done??At present i dont get anything attached in my mail i.e no errors or warnings attached.   My application requires the user to enter their business name, which the application will automatically create into a unique identifier to be used in URLs, ie "Bob's Cafe" will become "bobs-cafe" But if there are duplicate names I would like the application to add a number so if there is already a "bobs-cafe" we will use "bobs-cafe-1" and likewise if there is already a "bobs-cafe-1" we will use "bobs-cafe-2" Ive used explode and also looked at a regular expressions but I dont know the best way to approach this.
