• Cursor backed ExpandableListView data update

  Hi I'm implementing CRUD functionality using ExpandableListView. Wen I delete a parent data on screen refreshes automatically but it doesn't when I delete a child. I've solved this with: int categoryId = ExpandableListView.getPackedPositionGroup(info.packedPosition); getExpandableListView().collapseGroup(categoryId); getExpandableListView().expandGroup(categoryId); Is there any better way to this?   Does anyone know of a .NET API (source-code is preferrable of course) that I can access all the common chat clients thru it (GT, Yahoo, MSN, AIM, FB, ICQ, SKYPE and more)? I guess I am looking for a .NET library project that performs something like pidjin. I need it because I hate Pidgin's interface and functionality, and I want to have a Google-Talk desktop like UI.   Does anyone know if there is an official or unofficial API for Google 3D warehouse. I know of the iPhone app NaviCAD, which shows Collada models from Google Warehouse - it has search, most-viewed, most-recent functionality; so I guess it is using some sort of API to get that data. But I couldn't find any auch api after searching around. Do you know if there is any?

  I am using JQuery UI plugin blockUI to block UI for every ajax request. It works like a charm, however, I don't want to block the UI (Or at least not show the "Please wait" message) when I am making ajax calls to fetch autocomplete suggest items. How do I do that? I am using jquery autocomplete plugin for autocomplete functionality. Is there a way I can tell the block UI plug-in to not block UI for autocomplete?

This is easily done for window and process handles, but it seems that it is not possible for file handles.   From my experience so far, it seems that if you write a script that makes lots of expensive calls close together, the functionality just "hangs", or you get inconsistent responses, and have to refresh the browser because sheets stop updating etc. Are there any docs or specs that clarify this, as releasing an app fr real-world use is not possible if users can expect it to work most of the time, and produce random results every now and then...

  I am using phpbb on a site for a client, and the client has requested that each different forum page have a different background color. Such functionality is not built into phpbb (from what I can tell), so how should I go about doing this? Can I modify the code of phpbb directly? My other thought was to use a js conditional statement, but seeing as the only difference on the forums page would be the page title, I don't know how I could format this.

• Tray Icons Keep On Popping Up

  I have a WinForm program that checks a database for changes, and if there are any, it will open another WinForm telling the user what is happening (the popup WinForm has some special functionality making a MessageBox insufficient for this task). Each time one of these popup WinForms shows up, a new icon shows up in the system tray and does not go away even if you hover over it (this isn't a tray refresh issue). What I'm wondering is how to get the popup WinForm to display no tray icon at all.
