  • Download discussions from usenet

    - by user22559
Hello. Does anyone know a good (and maybe free) usenet client that would allow me to save all the discussions from one (or more) groups to text files? Preferably each post to its own text file. I need this to run some data mining on those discussions. Thanks :)

    - by user40021

Any ideas how to solve this? Many thanks in advance Best regards Chris

  • Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 versus AMD Athlon II X2 3GHZ

    - by Billy ONeal
Hello :) I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4GHZ) in my current desktop, and I have a newer machine with an AMD Athlon II X2 3.0GHZ. I'm wondering how the systems will perform in comparison to one another. I'd like to use the AMD because it's 45nm and uses less power, but I don't want to do so at a loss in perforamnce. Which should perform better? Billy3

  • Is there a plugin for photoshop that lets me write right to left text?

    - by kkaploon
I know there is a ME version of Photoshop, but I've seen a lot of plugins that do Arabic text on regular Photoshop (which include right to left text). What I'm looking for is just the right to left thing, without all the Arabic support. Is there any out there? Basically, typing typing "HELLO" should yield "OLLEH" exactly. Individual characters should not be reversed.

So I want to Microsoft Exchange to become like middle mail provider. My another question is regarding Microsoft Server Active Directory, is Windows Server 2008 Active Directory working with Windows XP Professional and is there any new feature added to Win2k8 AD?

  • mac's .dll equivalent

    - by kalaracey
Hello all-- so, a DLL is similar to a folder, but it allows for multiple programs/executables to access it at once, thus conserving memory (I think). What is Mac's equivalent of a DLL? I was looking through the Google Chrome folders inside ~/Library/Application Support, and instead of the regular Windows Default.dll there was just a folder, "Default" as a regular file, with contents, I assume, would regularly be inside the DLL. Does the Mac equivalent provide the same function?

  • Running Radius on a Novell Backbone

    - by YsoL8
Hello I am a rookie network engineer and I've been asked to create a secure wireless system intergrated with an existing network. So far I'd decided to use 802.1x secuity with a Radius enabled server over a Novell backbone. My question is: does Novell still support this type of server setup? I heard rumours it is at the end of it's supported life and I'd like some confirmation. Also can I get some recommendations on better backbone / server providers. Cheers
