Below is a partial table row that will create a line row of 3 columns. Two columns in each side is links, left is previous year and right is next year links. Center is links for january thru december. When you click a month links, the calendar will show that month you've clicked in the current year the calendar is on. For example, the calendar will open current month and year by default...March 2010. C# Help: Adding a complexType to the main XmlSchema

I need to create program that creates a XML schema like below using System.Xml.XmlSchema namespace I'm using the XmlSchemaComplexType to MyString and MyInteger but I can't seem to find a way to set the extension to base string and int respectively. Delay keyboard input help

I'm so close! I'm using the XNA Game State Management example found here and trying to modify how it handles input so I can delay the key/create an input buffer. In GameplayScreen.cs I've declared a double called elapsedTime and set it equal to 0. In the HandleInput method I've changed the Key.Right button press to: if (keyboardState.IsKeyDown(Keys.Left)) movement.X -= 50; if (keyboardState.IsKeyDown(Keys.Right)) { elapsedTime -= gameTime.ElapsedGameTime.TotalMilliseconds; if (elapsedTime <= 0) { movement.X += 50; elapsedTime = 10; } } else { elapsedTime = 0; } The pseudo code: If the right arrow key is not pressed set elapsedTime to 0. If it is pressed, the elapsedTime equals itself minus the milliseconds since the last frame. If the difference then equals 0 or less, move the object 50, and then set the elapsedTime to 10 (the delay). If the key is being held down elapsedTime should never be set to 0 via the else. Instead, after elapsedTime is set to 10 after a successful check, the elapsedTime should get lower and lower because it's being subtracted by the TotalMilliseconds. When that reaches 0, it successfully passes the check again and moves the object once more. The problem is, it moves the object once per press but doesn't work if you hold it down. Can anyone offer any sort of tip/example/bit of knowledge towards this? Thanks in advance, it's been driving me nuts. In theory I thought this would for sure work. CLARIFICATION Think of a grid when your thinking about how I want the block to move. Instead of just fluidly moving across the screen, it's moving by it's width (sorta jumping) to the next position. If I hold down the key, it races across the screen. I want to slow this whole process down so that holding the key creates an X millisecond delay between it 'jumping'/moving by it's width. EDIT: Turns out gameTime.ElapsedGameTime.TotalMilliseconds is returning 0... all of the time. I have no idea why.

jQuery - Could use a little help with a content loader

Hi, I'm not very elite when it comes to JavaScript, especially the syntax. So I'm trying to learn. And in this process I'm trying to implement a content loader that basically removes all content from a div and inserts content from another div from a different document. I've tried to do this on this site: www.matkalenderen.no - Check the butt ugly link there. See what happens? I've taken the example from this site: http://nettuts.s3.cdn.plus.org/011_jQuerySite/sample/index.html#index But I'm not sure this example actually works the way I think it does. I mean, if the code just wipes out existing content from a div and inserts content from another div, why does the other webpages in this example include doctype and heading etc etc? Wouldn't you just need the div and it's content? Without all the other stuff "around"? Maybe I don't get how this works though. Thought it worked mosly like include really. help configuring openid for enki blog in ruby on rails

I am trying to set up a blog using Enki. There is a config file here: http://github.com/xaviershay/enki/blob/master/config/enki.yml Which I don't understand. I signed up for myopenID and replaced my username in the delegate, but I don't understand what goes under "open_id" - is it just my URL? I'm just not sure what's going on, or what name I should put in the admin page at all (is it the username at myopenID?). I may have it all right, but I keep getting "OpenID server not found" so something is going wrong on both my local and remote server.

Help understanding the Single Responsibility Principle

I'm trying to understand what a responsibility actually is so I want to use an example of something I'm currently working on. I have a app that imports product information from one system to another system. The user of the apps gets to choose various settings for which product fields in one system that want to use in the other system. So I have a class, say ProductImporter and it's responsibility is to import products. This class is large, probably too large. The methods in this class are complex and would be for example, getDescription. This method doesn't simply grab a description from the other system but sets a product description based on various settings set by the user. If I were to add a setting and a new way to get a description, this class could change. So, is that two responsibilities? Is there one that imports products and one that gets a description. It would seem this way, almost every method I have would be in it's own class and that seems like overkill. I really need a good description of this principle because it's hard for me to completely understand. I don't want needless complexity.

HELP with XML to XML transformation using XSLT.

Need help with ConnectionString value in C#

Hi I have an idea and I want to apply it to my Application (C# .NET). When we connect to a DB (MS SQL Server 2008) in VS 2008, the ConnectionString saved in the Application Setting and it's a static varriable (no one can edit it unless you edit it inside VS 2008). I want a way to let my Application search for MS SQL Server and save it to Application Setting and use it to connect to my DB Programmatically. When my application start, the first thing to do is checking the ConnectionString if vaild, NOT Empty and test connection to MS SQL Server Successfully so if there is a proplem I think to show a window form to let the user enter some data like username and password for MS SQL Server 2008 Is there any way to do it?

Majority query on this table - searching documents similar to current document: select 10 documents with maximum of (count common to current document value)/(count ov values in document). Nowadays we use PostgreSQL. Table weight (with index) ~1,5 GB. Average query time ~0.5s. Should I transfer all this to NoSQL base, if so, what?

Help with php code - need to add condition to make one link https

Hi, I have a wordpress blog and I need to make one of the pages secure. I have been told to make the link to that page point to https://claimpage.html as opposed to http://claimpage.html. The problem is I don't actually create the menu that links the user to the individual pages. This is done automatically by the code in the background. I think I need to put in some sort of an IF statement, saying, if the title of the page is "claim now" then use https otherwise use http. Help with linq to sql compiled query

Hi I am trying to use compiled query for one of my linq to sql queries. This query contains 5 to 6 joins. I was able to create the compiled query but the issue I am facing is my query needs to check if the key is within a collection of keys passed as input. But compiled queries do not allow passing of collection (since collection can have varying number of items hence not allowed). For instance input to the function is a collection of keys. Say: List<Guid> InputKeys List<SomeClass> output = null; var compiledQuery = CompiledQueries.Compile<DataContext, IQueryable<SomeClass>>( (context) => from a in context.GetTable<A>() where InputKeys.Contains(a.Key) select a); using(var dataContext = new DataContext()) { output = compiledQuery(dataContext).ToList(); } return output; Is there any work around or better way to do the above?

jquery checkbox help

The Problem I am trying to run some ajax on one my pages for my website, basically I have three checkboxes all of which on pageload are unselected, when a checkbox is clicked I need to be able load in via ajax the relevant HTML. This system is currently a PHP script that depending on what the POST is set returns a different view, so I think all I need to is send the POST via AJAX, but I need to do everytime a new checkbox is checked. Help with jQuery 'zoom' script

Help to edit the Recent Posts Wordpress widget to diplay in all 3 languages at once

Site link: http://nuestrafrontera.org/wordpress/ I want the feed of recent post titles to show in the sidebar for all 3 languages, separated by language. So, for example, under Recent Posts the sidebar would have "English" and then the latest 3 posts in English, then "Español" and the latest 3 in Spanish and then French. All in a list in the column and appearing on all pages with the sidebar in all languages. I am using the most current version of Wordpress with the WPML plugin. I believe the Wordpress widget for Recent Posts needs to be tweaked to do this. Dynamic Linq Library Help

Hi, I have the following class: public class Item { public Dictionary<string, string> Data { get; set; } } and a list of it: List<Item> items; I need to filter and order this list dynamicly using SQL-Like strings. The catch is, that I need to order it by the Data dictionary. For example: Order By Data["lastname"] or Where Data["Name"].StartsWith("a"). I thought to use the dynamic linq library, but is there any way that my clients can write without the Data[]? For example: Name.StartsWith("abc") instead of Data["Name"].StartsWith("abc") ? Help with ASP.NET 4.0 routing and subfolders

If I use routing with 2 query parameters, like this: System.Web.Routing.RouteTable.Routes.MapPageRoute("HomeRoute", "home/{f1}/{f2}", "~/Home.aspx"); My image does not appear on my Home.aspx page: <img src="~/img/img.jpg" /> or <img src="img/img.jpg" /> But it does appear when I access the http://localhost:3760/Website/Home.aspx URL I tried using Routing.Ignore with no luck. I look for a solution wich should work for an unlimited number of subfolders: "home/{f1}/{f2}/.../{fn}"
