I meet many troubles with this I use C# language and write a demo SeleniumExample.dll Then i start selenium RC and NUnit and run it with nUnit to see the test report. I read testdata from xml. I read document and understand the way SG works. I install SG and install Ant1.8. The tests will communicate with Selenium Hub. Actually, I just understand the theory i dont know how to make the tests communicate with Selenium Hub and how to make Selenium Hub control Selenium RC. I am a new for Selenium.   • Zend Mail - bouncing mails not returning to the specified "Return-Path"

    Hi, i'm working on a simple mail list app in PHP using Zend Mail. The idea is that all mail that bounce is redirected to a script which processes them and a report is generated. The script is running ok in direct tests, but I've testing it with fake mail address to test the mail list app, and it appears that the mail is not being redirected to the correct email address. Zend Mail provides the setReturnPath method to set the "Return-Path" header, it's ok to use this header for this purpose? Thanks

  • Django FileField not saving to upload_to location

    I have an Attachment model that has a FileField in a Django 1.4.1 app. This FileField has a callable upload_to parameter which, per the Django docs should be called when the form (and therefore the model) is saved. When I run FormTest below, the upload_to callable is never called and the file therefore does not appear in the location provided by the upload_to method. What am I doing wrong? Notice that in the passing tests in ModelTest (also below), the upload_to method works as expected.   • TestDriven.net, right click, run test, doesn't re-build

    I am using testDriven.net and when I right-click and run tests, it appears to build, then runs the test. Only it doesn't really do the build. I keep making changes and the test still fails:) I have to do a VS Build, then run the testDriven.net to get changes to take effect. This clears up for a while if I delete the solution's .SUO file. Any thoughts?

  • Symbol not found - CUnit on Snow Leopard

    I just installed CUnit on Snow Leopard with MacPorts/DarwinPorts. The installed worked fine after installing the "Snow Leopard compatible" version of MacPorts. However, I get en error when trying to run och unit tests: dyld: Symbol not found: _acs_map Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libcunit.1.dylib Expected in: flat namespace in /opt/local/lib/libcunit.1.dylib Trace/BPT trap Has anyone come across this problem or has anyone successfully got CUnit working on Snow Leopard some other way?

    Hello people, I am wondering what tool(s) do you use for front-end testing... Currently I am using Selenium RC as tool to test the front-end. I am quite happy with the result as I managed to integrate it with the ms build process etc. The problem with Selenium tests is that they are not always reliable especially if you browse with something else than Firefox. I am looking for open source alternatives (tools for front-end testing)?

    I've got some tests that need to count the number of warnings raised by a function. In Python 2.6 this is simple, using with warnings.catch_warnings(record=True) as warn: ... self.assertEquals(len(warn), 2) Unfortunately, with is not available in Python 2.4, so what else could I use? I can't simply check if there's been a single warning (using warning filter with action='error' and try/catch), because the number of warnings is significant.

    I have a custom timer that extends android.os.CountDownTimer. I have a test in the test project (standard Android/Eclipse project config) that tests the custom Timer. When I try to run this test, I get a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: android/os/CountDownTimer at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:698) You get the idea. Can I not run code that references android code code in junit test?

    I'm wondering - is there any difference in performance of using CSS Transitions vs. any of the various JS animation libraries? (scriptaculous, scripty2, jsAnim, MooTools, $fx, etc, etc). I've tried various tests in Safari / Google Chrome, and I don't actually see any difference -- I thought that CSS Transitions were supposed to be hardware accelerated.

    I'm trying to test that I'm throwing an exception when appropriate. In my test class I have a method similar to the following: public void testParseException() { try { ClientEntitySingleton.getInstance(); fail("should have thrown exception."); } catch (RuntimeException re) { assertEquals( "<exception message>", re.getMessage()); } } This works fine (green bar) whenever I run that single unitTest class. However, when I add that test to a testSuite, I get a red bar Unit test failure reported on the exception. One more thing... it works in the testSuite, if it's the first test in the suite. Actually, I'm doing two of these tests and just figured out that if I make them the first two tests in the suite, all is good, but I get this failure if a "regular" test precedes it. So I have a work-around, but no real answer. Any ideas?
