    I am relatively new to Java, and often find that I need to sort a Map on the values. Since the values are not unique, I find myself converting the keySet into an array, and sorting that array through array sort with a custom comparator that sorts on the value associated with the key. Is there an easier way?

I cannot change the structure because the database has too many records and might cause major applications rework. It would be easier if the Id from Party table was a foreign key in person and organization table, but in the particular scenario the database has person and organization key as a foreign key in party table.   • How does bundler work (in general)?

    Hello, I'm pretty new to Ruby/Rails but I was taking a look at bundler and was wondering how it works exactly. Do you install a full set of gems like normal gem install XYZand then use the Gemfile to pull a certain subset of those gems for use with a specific application? Or do you not install gems normally anymore and just include them in the Gemfile and then do a bundle install to include them all in a bundle that is then used with your application?   • Eclipse CDT -- How to map Linux path's to Windows paths?

    We have a C-code project written for a Linux environment but we also want the ability to view and edit the code on Eclipse for Windows and have the headers be resolved. The problem we are facing is that a lot of the headers are included with absolute paths in the Linux format such as: #include /path/to/custom/header.h What I would like to be able to do is have Eclipse CDT map /path/to/custom/ to C:\path\to\custom. Is this possible?

  • How can I map a spring controller to a url with .jsp extension?

    Hi. We are in the process of migrating a jsp-only application to Spring-MVC. For various reasons we can't change the extension of the current pages. (calls to login.jsp need to handled by a spring controller that will use a jsp file as view). We are doing this iteratively, so some pages need to stay jsp files (calls to welcome.jsp won't be handled by a controller). To do that I mapped both the DispatcherDervlet and the HandlerMapping to *.jsp, and configured the JstlView in the standard way.
