    I would like to dump all css key/value pairs for an html tag. In particular, I would like to learn the css properties for <audio> tag, so I can try to customize the look. document.getElementById('myaudio').style returns a CSSStyleDeclaration object but length returns 0 and I cannot figure out to iterate over the key/value pairs.   • Ruby character encoding issue

    Hi, I write a little ruby script, which sends me an email when a new commit added to our svn. I get the log with this code: log = `/usr/bin/svnlook log #{ARGV[0]}` When I run my script from bash I get good encoded character in the email, but when I try it and create a new commit I get wrong hungarian characters. I commited this: tes oéá I get this in the email: Log: tes ?\197?\145?\195?\169?\195?\161 How can I solve this issue?

I understand it has to do with hibernate locking strategy, but my concern is that today is Sunday, and the site has almost no visitors so is: is this normal ? Or is there a known hibernate bug or even some programming malpractice producing this ?

  • Why does DebugActiveProcessStop crash my debugging app?

    I have a debugging program which I've written to attach to a process and create a crash dump file. That part works fine. The problem I have is that when the debugger program terminates, so does the program that it was debugging. I did some Googling and found the DebugActiveProcessStop() API call. This didn't show up in my older MSDN documentation as it was only introduced in Windows XP so I've tried loading it dynamicall from Kernel32.dll at runtime. Now my problem is that my debugger program crashes as soon as the _DebugActiveProcessStop() call is made.   • DRY way of calling a method in every rails model

    Along the same lines as this question, I want to call acts_as_reportable inside every model so I can do one-off manual reports in the console in my dev environment (with a dump of the production data). What's the best way to do this? Putting acts_as_reportable if ENV['RAILS_ENV'] == "development" in every model is getting tedious and isn't very DRY at all. Everyone says monkey patching is the devil, but a mixin seems overkill. Thanks!

    http://maven.apache.org/settings.html As per documentation the user specific settings can be either copied to the .m2 folder or under the maven installation. If a developer changes a machine or gets a new user id, such properties have to be copied manually to these newer machines. Would it be possible to store user specific setting information in the repository itself (say SVN) and somehow have the mvn scripts load it on startup.

    I know how to generate html documentation using Sandcastle and similar tools. But if I want to host the project on Google code, how can I easily publish the documentation straight into the Google project Wiki pages? I can see the SVN repository has a wiki folder which I assume maps to the project Wiki pages and I guess I can make a build step to build the documentation from the autodoc tags. But is there some tool that generates wiki compatible format from the code documentation tags?
