    A friend of mine has purchased a new laptop (Toshiba) with Windows 7 installed and has also purchased Outlook 2007 and atttmped to install it - the install worked ok, but I think he may have selected Exchange server when installing the first time - now it will not start, displaying message like "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable " Outlook 2007 should have been configued for Pop3 as he has a hotmail account, but Outlook will not load "offline" and despite me de-installing, re-installing, running repair, I cannot get it to load to a point where I can add a new email account. If any one has any ideas on this, I would apprecaite the help Thanks, Bob

  • One user always unsuccessfull in logging into the MFP via DSS

    We use HP M4345 MFP's here with the HP DSS software. All the users can log into the MFP except for one particular user. I haven't been able to find out why. We are leaning towards her active directory account might be goofed. However I hate to delete the account and recreate it as it will cause a lot of extra work. Looking for any advice before we have to proceed down that road.

But how can you configure many IIS servers running on different virtual machines in the same network, to host websites using the same public IP addres, but different domain names? Normailly in IIS under the website you can set the headers to which the website will respond to. but what if that website is on a different machine?

    My Windows NT account name was changed, and when starting PuTTY it now appears that my saved session information has been lost. The FAQ suggests that PuTTY sessions should be stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham\PuTTY. Wikipedia explains that HKCU maps to NTUSER.DAT and USRCLASS.DAT under the current user's Desktop and Settings folder. I still have these files for my old account name, but I'm guessing there is no easy way to extract data from these files?

    Hi all, If I understand PGP correctly, I can digitally sign my email with my private key, which will prove they are from me, right? I created my public and private key on my server, but I can't work out how to set up digital signing with Windows Live Mail. How do I set up and add users to my PostgreSQL 9.1 database on Mac OS X 10.6.8?

Background: I have already determined that the application needs to be run as a domain user to be able to query information from the domain.   • Confused with DKIM, SPF and Exim Configs

    I've now spent 2 hours trying to figure out this issue and I am about to give up and go to bed. I've been having issues with Gmail rejecting emails from my VPS server because of false spam alerts (probably caused by lfd sending too many emails). So I changed my Exim config to send emails from a different IP (my VPS comes with 3) and that fixed the issue. I also enabled DKIM and SPF on my domains for added measure. But now, all my emails appear as ("From: Sender Name via server.domain1.com") where server.domain1.com is my VPS hostname. I previously had the same issue in Outlook and turning off "Set SMTP Sender: headers" solved that problem. But I believe adding the DKIM and SPF now makes Gmail add "via server.domain1.com" to my messages. How do I fix this?   • Dissect System Restore snapshots

    Is there any way to map the A000????.??? filenames in the System Volume Information to their original names, without restoring them? The reason I ask is that several files in one user's System Volume Information RP1 were infected by a rootkit. Although they've been removed, I'd like to be able to figure out what they were originally. A0001253.sys and A0001211.sys are not very helpful names. :) It happened on two systems, one XP SP2, the other XP SP3.

Column B = Subscribe date Column A = Subscribe name I have multiple columns with a lot of doubles names (A) and different subscribe dates(B) How can this be sorted that all names are sorted, but the highest subscribe date is flagged as HIGHEST in column C. In this way you can see directly wich is the highest date.

Is there a way to determine who dropped a mail item in an Exchange 2003 public folder, so that we can have some accountability? I suspect this can't be done natively in Exchange, so if there is a scripted solution to this I'd be very interested.

What I wanna know is, is there any way to save (or maybe sync with Windows Live account) installed app list, and install these saved applications in future - RTM version of OS? I mean, somehing like on Apples' devices - icloud features function that I'm talking about. You can install apps on iPhone and sync with iCloud account. Then you can re-install these apps on another device, which signed in with your login into icloud.

    At work (Exchange server) our team often needs to send emails to 500+ partners. It's currently a very dull job, so I've tried the merge features in Office 2007. However, it can't: Include a merge field in the subject ("Regarding your account: ") Send to semi-colon separated addresses (one line might be "[email protected];[email protected];[email protected]") Send from a particular mailbox account, and store all the sent mails in Outlook. Can anyone recommend any free/affordable software which will work with Exchange and can be used commercially?

  • excel / open office - append an incrementing value to all non-unique fields

    I have a large table of about 7500 store names. I need to search through those names and, if they are not unique, append an incrementing value, for example: store_1 store_2 etc. Anyone know how to do this? For another project, I was using this: =J1&IF(COUNTIF($J$1:J1,J1)1,COUNTIF($J$1:J1,J1),"") but in open office this gives an error, and in google spreadsheets, it times out because my database is so big. Any suggestions?

    Gitosis is able to authenticate users based on public/private key pair. It is able to find out which user is currently committing. However, the user name and email is taken from the client's Git configuration ('git config user.name' etc.), which can be set to arbitrary values. Is there any way to associate user names and emails with their public keys and then make Gitosis uses these names and emails as the name and email of the committer?
