  Hi I'm trying to output something like the following but am finding that there is a lot of code duplication going on. | australian_has_itch | kiwi_has_itch | | yes | no | | no | n/a | | n/a | no | ...   I've seen other questions about this exception, but all of them seem to be resolved with the solution that a row with the primary key specified already exists. This doesn't seem to be the case for me. I have tried replacing all single quotes in my strings with double quotes, but the same problem occurs. What's the fastest way to find out if a given localNode is a producer for another localnode in the data structure (and not within the same list)? For example, I would like to know that nA (node-17) produces for nC (exists on node-16). But I don't need to know that nB produces for nC, since they exist in the same localNodes list.

• WCF Service error received when using TCP: "The message could not be dispatched..."

  I am new to creating WCF services. I have created a WCF web service in VS2008 that is running on IIS 7. When I use http the service works perfectly. When I configure the service for TCP and run I get the following error message. There was a communication problem. The message could not be dispatched because the service at the endpoint address 'net:tcp://elec:9090/CoordinateIdTool_Tcp/IdToolService.svc is unavailable for the protocol of the address. I have searched a lot of forums, including this one, for a resolution but nothing has worked. Everything appears to be set up correctly on IIS 7. WAS has been set up to run. The default web site has a net.tcp binding and the application has net.tcp under the enabled protocols. I am including what I think is the important part of the web.config from the host project and also the app.config from the client project I am using to test the service. • Generator speed in python 3

  Hello all, I am going through a link about generators that someone posted. In the beginning he compares the two functions below. On his setup he showed a speed increase of 5% with the generator. I'm running windows XP, python 3.1.1, and cannot seem to duplicate the results. I keep showing the "old way"(logs1) as being slightly faster when tested with the provided logs and up to 1GB of duplicated data. Can someone help me understand whats happening differently? • WxPython multiple grid instances

  Does anybody know how I can get multiple instances of the same grid to display on one frame? Whenever I create more than 1 instance of the same object, the display of the original grid widget completely collapses and I'm left unable to do anything with it. I'm storing the Level = Points mapping in an array, but the array pointer is not moving logically when I use it a foreach loop. I've added echo statements for debugging. • RewriteRule in htaccess in subdirectory

  Windows server, running Apache. In my Apache conf, I have AllowOverride None for the root of a site and then I have a subdirectory set to AllowOverride All: <Directory /> AllowOverride None </Directory> <Directory "/safe/"> AllowOverride All </Directory> However, when I try to set up a rewrite rule in the subdirectory's htaccess file, nothing happens, I just get a 404 page not found error. Example: RewriteEngine On RewriteRule (.*) /blah?test=$1 [R=302,NC,NE,L] Rwewriting URLs are working fine from the root via the Apache conf. I don't understand why the rule is ignored. I don't want to do the URL re-writing within the conf because for this case I may need to be changing the redirects constantly and don't want to reload the server every time a change is made. I also don't want to affect server performance by enabling htaccess files site-wide, just in the subdirectory I need it.

  I am using JsonResponse to send some JSON to the client. To test that I am sending the correct response it seemed natural to me to parse the resulting JSON and validate against a data structure rather than comparing substrings. • Caching result of setUp() using Python unittest

  I currently have a unittest.TestCase that looks like.. class test_appletrailer(unittest.TestCase): def setup(self): self.all_trailers = Trailers(res = "720", verbose = True) def test_has_trailers(self): self.failUnless(len(self.all_trailers) > 1) # ..more tests.. This works fine, but the Trailers() call takes about 2 seconds to run.. Given that setUp() is called before each test is run, the tests now take almost 10 seconds to run (with only 3 test functions) What is the correct way of caching the self.all_trailers variable between tests? Removing the setUp function, and doing.. class test_appletrailer(unittest.TestCase): all_trailers = Trailers(res = "720", verbose = True) ..works, but then it claims "Ran 3 tests in 0.000s" which is incorrect.. • Couchbase (ex. membase) solution to dump all keys in a bucket

  I was googling around and found various python + tap solutions that should enable me to dump all keys from a bucket but none of them worked for me. I have a bucket at port 11230 and I need to get a dump of all keys in order to fill them into sphinx search engine. If I execute: # python /opt/couchbase/lib/python/tap_example.py 127.0.0.1:11230 I get the following output: info: New bin connection from None error: uncaptured python exception, closing channel <tap.TapConnection connected at 0x7f5d287184d0> (<type 'exceptions.AssertionError'>: [/usr/lib/python2.6/asyncore.py|read|78] [/usr/lib/python2.6/asyncore.py|handle_read_event|428] [/opt/couchbase/lib/python/mc_bin_server.py|handle_read|325]) this error is the same even if I try some other host or port. I also tried many other python scripts that I found on forums and groups but all of them produced the same error. My primary development environment includes PHP & Perl on Debian linux box but I will take any solution that would just dump all the keys into plain text file. Thank you for any help!

• chatbot using twisted and wokkel

  I am writing a chatbot using Twisted and wokkel and everything seems to be working except that bot periodically logs off. To temporarily fix that I set presence to available on every connection initialized. Does anyone know how to prevent going offline? (I assume if i keep sending available presence every minute or so bot wont go offline but that just seems too wasteful.) Suggestions anyone? • IE6/7 CSS Class Overriding

  I have a css file like: #SomeTable.hideAll .hide { display: none; } #SomeTable.showXYZ .show { display: block } When I add the class showCol to a td, the display overrides to block in chrome, FF, and IE8. But in IE6/7, the display stays none like it is not being overridden. Is there something odd you have to do in old IE's to do a css override like this? I suspect it has something to do with it either not being possible, or I just don't understand rules for determining an override.

• how do I make my submenu position dynamic based on the distance to the edge of the window?

  I'm trying to write a jQuery script that will find the distance to the right edge of the browser window from my css class element and then position the child submenu dropdowns to the right or left depending on the available space to the right. Also it needs to revert to the default settings on hoverout. I also know that it needs to revert back to default after hover out so it can recalculate the distance from other positions within the menu structure and still have those second level submenus with enough room to still display on the right of the first level. here is css for the elements in question. #dnnMenu .subLevel{ display: none; position: absolute; margin: 0; z-index: 1210; background: #639ec8; text-transform: none;} #dnnMenu .subLevelRight{ position: absolute; display: none; left: 270px; top: 0px;} The site's not live yet and I tried to create a jsfiddle but it doesn't look right.
