The main build scripts become quite big as we have a set of common tasks reused by subprojects as well as there is a lot of repeation between indepedent builds. What we are looking for is: A way to split main build file into smaller files A way to reuse some parts of the build in other independent builds What is the best way to achieve that in Gradle?

  • Is JSON.stringify() reliable for serializing JSON objects?

    I need to send full objects from Javascript to PHP. It seemed pretty obvious to do JSON.stringify() and then json_decode() on the PHP end, but will this allow for strings with ":" and ","? Do I need to run an escape() function on big user input strings that may cause an issue? What would that escape function be? I don't think escape works for my purposes. Are there any downsides to JSON.stringify() I need to know about? Thanks

    Assume my git repository has the following structure: /.git /Project /Project/SubProject-0 /Project/SubProject-1 /Project/SubProject-2 and the repository has quite some commits. Now one of the subprojects (SubProject-0) grows pretty big, and I want to take SubProject-0 out and set it up as a standalone project. Is it possible to extract all the commit history involving SubProject-0 from the parent git repository and move it to a new one?

  • Marshal.PtrToStructure (and back again) and generic solution for endianness swapping

    I have a system where a remote agent sends serialized structures (from and embedded C system) for me to read and store via IP/UDP. In some cases I need to send back the same structure types. I thought I had a nice setup using Marshal.PtrToStructure (receive) and Marshal.StructureToPtr (send). However, a small gotcha is that the network big endian integers need to be converted to my x86 little endian format to be used locally. When I'm sending them off again, big endian is the way to go. So, windows-calculator or python gives me: 5799218898 13 | 100010100100001110011111100001 13 70791 | 10001010010000111 As expected. But Javascript: 5799218898 13 | 100010100100001110011111100001 13 183624 | 101100110101001000 I think it because of internal integer representation in javascript, but cannot find anything about that.

I saw some people put all modules in one view stack ,and so the application interface is only load once, but when the application get larger, the whole compiled swf would be very big.   • Toggle iPhone tethering by code

    I live in Canada, so am fortunate that I can tether. One issue is that to toggle tethering, you need to drill down four screens in Settings, which is just a big hassle. A Google search returned nothing, so I was wondering if anyone here knew the code to turn on/off tethering? I know there's a toggle for SBSettings, but I do not have a jailbroken phone, I just want to create an app I build onto my phone and have an icon for quickly toggling it. Thanks

    I'm practicing my knowledge of ADTs by implementing some data structures, even if most already exist. With Stacks, a lot of books and other documentation I've read talk about the stack throwing an error when you try to add an element but the stack is full. In a java implementation (or any other), should I specifically keep track of a maximum stack size (from constructor), check to see if that size is reached, and throw an overflow exception if it is? Or is not such a big deal?

  • Changed name of form and project stopped working. Help

    I have a big project and I changed the name of 1st form from "Form1" to "WebBrowser", now I It gives me following error. The type or namespace 'Form1' could not be found(are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) cannot even Change the name back to Form1. it says cannot find WebBrowser.cs on disk its is renamed or deleted from the disk.
