• How to transfer domain from Godaddy to another provider

  I'm currently using godaddy for all of my company domains, and I'm very unsatisfied with their service, specially with their site, so we are trying to migrate those domains to another provider. The question is, How do I transfer my domains to another domain registrar? I'm not talking about transferring domain records (A, MX...) but to use the same domains with another provider, and redo all the configuration again. For example, one of our blogs is hosted in Slicehost and we feel very confortable with their record editing tool. As I have read prowebmasters I can see other people not very satisfied with Godaddy service. Thanks! edit: Thanks for the answers, they were all very informative.

• Ubuntu 12.04 on Vm Player showing Wired Network Instead of Wireless Network

  I am new to Ubuntu, recently I installed ubuntu 12.04 in Vm Player (Virtual Machine) on my Dell laptop having windows 7 ultimate 32 bit for just to check the security of my wireless network and want to crack the WiFi (WPA-PSK) password but in ubuntu it does not show the wireless network it shows the 2 arrow sign as i have not connect the ethernet cable to my laptop and connected through WiFi on my main OS (windows 7) but it shows the wired network and internet is working but it does not show wifi connection. On windows 7 WiFi is connected and showing the WiFi connection and working correctly.But my main motive is to crack the WiFi password as it can't detect WiFi network so what to do? • How can I get media keys working on my keyboard?

  Just got a new keyboard, the Microsoft comfort curve 2000, and everything seems to work fine accept for the 'back' and 'forward' multimedia keys. I am running Ubuntu 11.10 and have tried going into system settings - keyboard - shortcuts, then I try and hold down the keys to set the action I want them to perform, but nothing changes. Any thoughts on where else to look? Thanks -- UPDATE -- I rebooted and the options to change the keyboard shortcuts seem to be working now. Now I can tweak the whole thing and I managed to assign the media keys correctly. Thanks to everybody for the suggetions

• Error 15 after manually installing Ubuntu 12.04 dualboot windows 7

  (this post contains as the same as my preceding post on Grub rescue problem after installing Ubuntu 12.04 LTS since I've post it on the wrong place) Thanks God I found this page. I'm a newby from Indonesia, and I have a laptop with 2 OSes (7 and Precise) installed. I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 manually by replacing Blankon 4.0's (an Ubuntu-based Indonesian distro) partition. I made /boot mountpoint and then chose it as the place for bootloading. As the result, I've been experiencing error 15 until now, and I have to boot my laptop from Paragon rescue kit every time I want to use it. Is there any way to solve the problem? • See how one goal leads to another (i.e., how often downloading the demo leads to purchasing)

  I have two goals set up for my site in Google Analytics: one to download the demo of my software, and the other to buy the full version. I'm having trouble getting statistics on how often the download leads to a purchase. This seems like something the multi-channel funnel is perfect for (as in this question)---I expect that it takes multiple visits for the demo download to convert into an order. However, I can't seem to narrow down the multi-channel funnel data into only those that have one goal followed by another. If it matters, I'm tracking the ordering action as a page view (i.e., someone views the "Thanks for ordering" page) and the demo download as an action (which fires when someone clicks the "download" button). • Change the number of consecutive frequent ssh login before temporary blocking the user login

  my server currently would temporarily refuse a user to login for certain amount of time (maybe ~20min) if the user consecutively frequent ssh login for 3 times. Can I change this behaviour (say relaxed the definition of frequent maybe from 'within 5 sec' to 'within 10 sec'; or increase the # of consecutive login from 3 to 5)? Thanks. Added: Ah.. now I think the problem was not with the ssh. I just tried on another newly installed server. consecutive successful login won't block the user. I have no sudo permission on the server I mentioned above. Now I suspect this behaviour may cause by the firewall in the system. Thanks everyone's comments. ADDED 2: Ah... after some searches. I think the server is using /sbin/iptables to do it as I can see the iptables program is there even though I don't have permission to list the rules.   I want to split the /n from my string in Java. For example, I have one String field which has 2 lines space ( /n). I have to find out lines ( wherever mopre than one lines is coming) and should replace with one line spaces. "This is Test Message thanks Zubair " From the above example, there are more spaces between "This is Test Message" and "thanks". So i want to reduce as only one line instead of 2 lines.How to do that?
