  • Combining streams on FMS: sync and unify

    Hi folks, I was wondering if this can be done easily (or at least "can be done"). I have several live streams from different users - all being served by an FMS server for online talk. We are recording every incoming stream. What we want is to join them in some way so we could have a single file, synced, combined from several incoming streams (or recorded flv files). Any ideas?

But I wonder if anyone has already packaged up this functionality as a plugin. Basically, I have a few delayed_jobs running, and am looking for a plugin that will poll the server for completion of a particular job, then activate a callback when it finds that the job is complete.     I am curious about if there is any project about a replacement for the current unix-shells (like bash, ash, rsh ...), at least adding some new ideas or paradigm in this area. I was searching but i found very few information, this project http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendly_interactive_shell seems interesting, but not so diferent from the nowadays solutions.     This great SO answer points to a good sparse solver, but I've got constraints on x (for Ax = b) such that each element in x is >=0 an <=N. The first thing which comes to mind is an QP solver for large sparse matrices. Also, A is huge (around 2e6x2e6) but very sparse with <=4 elements per row. Any ideas/recommendations? I'm looking for something like MATLAB's lsqlin but with huge sparse matrices.

  • AVAudioPlayer won't play audio file after AVAudioRecorder

    I create a .caf audio file using AVAudioRecorder and if I try and play it back using AVAudioPlay I get no sound on the iPhone (if played in simulator works fine). If I close my application and reopen the file plays fine. Also I am not able to adjust the phone volume after recording unless I close and reopen my application. Any ideas?
