I supposed that not only will be sufficient the following tasks: Improve usability of those pages. Change the pages title. Add meta description and keywords. Url's in a REST way. 301's http header to dont lose page rank for the new URLS Optimizing content for Google. Configure links of the website (follow and no follow attributes) Get more inbounds links (Link building tasks). Create RSS. Put main website in Twitter (using twitter feed) using the RSS. Put main website in Facebook. Create a Youtube channel. Invest in Adwords. Invest in other online advertising companies. Use sitemap.xml and Google Webmaster tools. Use Google Trends to analyze the volume of searches of certain keywords. Use Google Analytics to analyze weak points and good points of your site, and find new oportunities in keywords. Use tools to find new keywords related with your content. Do you have some internet links, or knowledge about all the tasks that a SEO Expert should do? Could you share some knowledge about what kind of business could be do with another companies (B2B) to increase the search engine position of those product pages. • Having trouble adding jquery to charisma

  I am trying to add some jquery to this Charisma admin panel and have been having nothing but trouble. I am trying to add it to the charisma.js file. My class and div tags are correct for the code, as I have checked them several times for misspellings. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Is there a better "check" all code I can use here, or am I just putting this all in the wrong place? UPDATE: I think the actual code may be working, I cannot tell, after I click the select all box it seems that I have to click the other boxes 3 times to get the check mark back into the box, so it seems like it is having trouble actually showing that the box is marked. This may be a problem with styling, but I don't know how to correct it.

• Java3D: Problem with order of objects that have a transparent PNG texture

  Hello! Today I tried to program a little fish tank with Java 3D. The fish tank rotates and fishes are placed in it. The fishes in the box are Java 3D Boxes with a PNG picture that has an alpha channel. Without activated transparency the order of the objects is correct. But when I enable it, some fishes in the back come to the front what looks really wrong. I tried NICEST, FASTEST and BLENDED as Transparency Options but I had no effort. Does someone know what the problem could be?   Say I define an abstract My::Object and concrete role implementations My::Object::TypeA and My::Object::TypeB. For maintainability reasons, I'd like to not have a hardcoded table that looks at the object type and applies roles. As a DWIMmy example, I'm looking for something along these lines in My::Object: has => 'id' (isa => 'Str', required => 1); sub BUILD { my $self = shift; my $type = $self->lookup_type(); ## Returns 'TypeB' {"My::Object::$type"}->meta->apply($self); } Letting me get a My::Object with My::Object::TypeB role applied by doing the following: my $obj = My::Object(id = 'foo') Is this going to do what I want or am I on the entirely wrong track? Edit: I simplified this too much; I don't want to have to know the type when I instantiate the object, I want the object to determine its type and apply the correct role's methods appropriately. • Cloning items in a listbox c#

  I have 2 list boxes and want to be able to copy selected items from one to the other how ever many times I want. Ive managed to do this but I have buttons on the 2nd list box that allow me to go up and down..Now when theres to items in the second list box that are the same (e.g "gills" and "gills") it doesnt behave normally and crashes. • VB.net Saving an MetaFile / EMF as a bitmap ( .tiff)

  Currently I have a third party control that generates a Metafile. I can save the .wmf file to disk with out issue. The problem is how do I render the Metafile as a Tiff file. Currently I have the following code to get my metafile and save it.   I am trying to create a web service, my tools of trade are: ** Axis2, Eclipse, Tomcat, Ant ** I need to create a web service from Code, i.e. Write a basic java class which will have the methods to be declared in the WSDL. Then use java2WSDL.sh to create my WSDL. So, is this approach correct: Write my Java class with actual business logic package packageNamel; public class Hello{ public void World(String name) { SOP("Hello" + name); } } Now, when I pass this Hello.java to java2WSDL.sh, this will give me the WSDL. Finally, I will write the services.xml file, and create the Hello.aar with following dir structure: Hello.aar packageName Hello.class META-INF services.xml MANIFEST.MF Hello.WSDL Now, I assume, my service will be deployed when I put the aar in tomcat1/webapps/axis2/WEB-INF/services But, here comes my problem, HOW DO I ACCESS THE METHOD World(String name)???!!, i.e. I am clueless about the client code! • AsyncPostBackTrigger disables buttons...

  I've a simple UpdatePanel and a button outside of it. I've introduced the button as an AsyncPostBackTrigger in the UpdatePanel. UpdatePanel itself works fine but the button does not. Whenever the button is clicked, its click handler does not run just like the button is not clicked at all! Why the button is not working and how can it be fixed? • Atlas style map index for static google map

  Hello, I'm using a static google map, but really this problem could apply to any maps project. I want to divide a map into multiple quadrants (of say 50x50 pixels) and label the columns as A, B, C.... and the rows as 1, 2, 3... Next I plan to do something like, 1) Find the markers which are the farthest north, east, south, and west 2) Use that info to to define the bounding boxes of each row and column box 3) Classify each marker by its row and column (Example Marker 1 = [A,2]) A few requirements, I don't know the zoom level because I let Google set the zoom level appropriately for me and I would rather not use an algorithm that is dependent on a zoom level. I do however know the locations of all of the markers that are shown on the map. Here is an example of a map that I would like to classify the markers for, static map example link. I found these which look like a good start, Resource 1, Resource 2 But I think I'm still in need of some help getting started. Can anyone help write out some pseudo code or post a few more resources? I'm kind of in a rut at the moment. Thanks! Much appreciated of any help!

• OsmDroid show blank screen with blocks

  Am trying to use OsmDroid with MapQuest maps downloaded from Mobile Atlas Creator. I followed all the instructions to generate the map tiles, upload them to the SDcard etc but when I run this on the device I get a screen with a bunch of empty boxes... • Editing a labels text value through JavaScript in VB ASP.NET

  I have a simple form containing two text boxes, I am attempting to apply some validation to the first text box using JavaScript. This is the first time I have attempted this and am having some trouble. I have a label beside the text box stating an error, this labels visibility property is set to False. I wish the labels visibility to turn true if the text box is empty when the user loses focus. For this I have used the onBlur option within the tags of the text box. It then calls the JavaScript function and should set the label to Visible but it does not. I have tested to see if it is entering the function by using an alert instead and that works. The problem seems to be trying to alter the visibility property of the label. • JQuery Cycle fails on Page Refresh

  In a similar issue as this one: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1719475/jquery-cycle-firefox-squishing-images I've managed to overcome the initial problem using Jeffs answer in the above link. However now I have noticed a new bug, upon page refresh it simply does not work. I have tried a hard refresh (ctrl+F5) but this does not work. Also, what's the "preview" variable called that I should use in my preview.html template? {{preview}} or do I just do {{form}} again? -- Answered below. I tried adding 'django.contrib.formtools' to my installed_apps in settings and I tried using the code from the default form templates from django.contrib as suggested below. Still, when I submit the form I go right back to the post template, none of my print statements execute :(

• Installing Epic (Eclipse Plugin) in Pulse Explorer

  I'm trying to install EPIC using the Pulse Explorer for Eclipse (as I'm rather fond of sharing profiles :). When I go to install the plugin under my account, I get asked for a login into http://e-p-i-c.sf.net. However, the Epic's team documentation doesn't mention anything about a login. Here's what I've done: Gone into Pulse and created a new profile based on Eclipse Classic. Navigated to Software, added the EPIC software site to list of public sites, and chosen to install it. Added Pulse item to profile. Run the installer. The error shows up while it's all downloading/installing. Login boxes start to appear for epic related components, and I don't have credentials to put in so all I can do is hit cancel. If I hit cancel, the process fails at the end with the generic error message: "an unexpected error occurred preparing to install and/or launch the selected profile". Bundles that are failing to download are: org.epic.debug org.epic.doc org.epic.lib org.epic.perleditor org.epic.regxp org.epic.source The component that's exploding is called: org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.repository.Credentials$LoginCancelledException I've had the same effect on Pulse 0.5.x and 0.6.x. No clue where to go from here. Might contact the EPIC and Pulse teams and ask them, but thought that I'd get a better response from here. I'm somewhat sure I'm doing something wrong.

  I recently made this wordpress blog, where you can sign up a team for an event, when clicking a link under the event post. This link takes you to a sign-up form on another php-page. All I need now is to somehow send the specific event-post-title along to the sign-page, so that the following form-submit action will contain that title aswell. But since I'm not very good at php it seems like a mystery, altho I bet it's very simple! • Prototype's Ajax.Updater not actually updating on IE7.

  I am trying to submit a form using Ajax.Updater and have the result of that update a div element in my page. Everything works great in IE6, FF3, Chrome and Opera. However, In IE7 it sporadically works, but more often than not, it just doesn't seem to do anything. Here's the javascript: function testcaseHistoryUpdate(testcase, form) { document.body.style.cursor = 'wait'; var param = Form.serialize(form); new Ajax.Updater("content", "results/testcaseHistory/" + testcase, { onComplete: function(transport) {document.body.style.cursor = 'auto'}, parameters: param, method: 'post' } ); } I've verified using alert() calls that param is set to what I expect. I've read in many places that IE7 caches aggressively and that it might be the root cause, however every after adding the following to my php response, it still doesn't work. header("Last-Modified: " . gmdate("D, d M Y H:i:s") . " GMT"); header("Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate"); header("Cache-Control: post-check=0, pre-check=0", false); header("Pragma: no-cache"); To further try to fix a caching issue I've tried adding a bogus parameter which just gets filled with a random value to have different parameters for every call, but that didn't help. I've also found this, where UTF-8 seemed to be causing an issue with IE7, but my page is clearly marked: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /> Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with IE7 as opposed to the other browsers I tested to cause this kind of issue?

  I am writing to the event log from my Windows Forms application running on Windows 7 and am getting this message in the event log: The description for Event ID X from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: Exception Details the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table My logging code is: public void Log(Exception exc) { EventLog.WriteEntry( "Application", exc.ToString(), EventLogEntryType.Error, 100); } My logging on Windows Forms is usually to a DB, but in this case decided to use the event log. I usually use the event log in ASP.NET applications, but those are on XP Pro locally and Windows Server 2003 on the web boxes. Is this a Windows 7 thing or a Windows Forms thing, and what should I do to fix this? Thanks.

Then, once I've gotten the three inputs, I reassemble them into a DateTime and save it to the model. A few questions: 1) Is this totally the wrong way to go about doing it? I don't want to create fields in the model for hours, minutes, etc, since that's all basically just intermediary data, so I'd like a way to break the DateTime field into sub-fields. 2) The difficulty I'm running into is when the startdate field is blank -- it seems like it never gets checked for non-blankness, and just ends up throwing up a TypeError later when the program expects a date and gets None. Where does Django check for blank inputs, and raise the error that eventually goes back to the form? Is this my responsibility? If so, how do I do it, since it doesn't evaluate clean_startdate() since startdate isn't in the model. 3) Is there some better way to do this with inheritance? Perhaps inherit the MyScheduleForm in BetterScheduleForm and add the fields there? How would I do this? (I've been playing around with it for over an hours and can't seem to get it) Thanks! • HTML include statement

  I'm just trying to do a simple include statement in HTML. I have no clue why its not working. My file setup is basically index.php in the root and then a file called "includes" with a file "header.html" inside. • Why are my descenders being cut off when using CSS @font-face?

  I'm using the Google webfonts API to embed Droid Sans on a page. All is fine, except for the descenders (i.e. the dangly bits on y, g, etc). • How can I create my own form designer?

  I'm starting my first C# project, and I want to make a "form designer" (like the one in VS). The idea is, there will be a visual form designer with a limited toolbox, which will generate Python code (later more) to create the same form. Problem is, I have no idea how to even get started. First of all, I have the form designer in VS: how do I make a "form-within-a-form?" Next... I have no idea how complicated this is going to be. I suppose I could just make little boxes appear beside each control created on the form when it is clicked, for resizing, and make a textbox appear on it when double clicked or something, to change the text in it... Things like this. So another thing I would like to know is this: I do have programming experience in C and C++, I've done PHP for a number of years and am starting with Python as of recently. I've generated forms dynamically in VB6. Given this experience, am I in way over my head with this project?

The font is just standard Arial, so it isn't a case of the font missing the bullet character. Does anyone have any idea as to why Flex is not showing the bullet point characters?
