• Not able to use spring Beans outside container . Always picking up WebSphere Context

  We have the a whole lot of spring bean defined in our project which we deploy in Websphere ^. • Using Zend Framework and Doctrine with independend modular structures

  I've seen a lot of articles about integrating ZF and Doctrine. There is also a proposal for ZF here but they have always two possible structures. Either they put all models into one top level model directory or they put it into a module related model directory. application |-- Bootstrap.php |-- configs |-- controllers |-- models - EITHER HERE |-- modules | -- examplemodule | |-- controllers | |-- models - OR HERE | |-- views |-- views For our projects I see problems for either of the two options: 1. One directory: application/models - in a complex system after a short time there will be hundreds of files, over all when you have the table classes two (e.g. User.php and UserTable.php). 2. Module based model directories: application/modules/examplemodule/models - in many cases we use models in multiple modules at the same time. So the "User" is required e.g. in the modules "game", "administration", ... Is there a way to use some kind of sub directories under the top level directory "models" to get some grouping. It should be completely independent of the module structure. application |-- Bootstrap.php ... |-- models | -- user | |-- User.php | |-- Friend.php | |-- other user related models | -- game | |-- Game.php | |-- Score.php | |-- ... ...   I'm trying to learn ZF, but got strange error after 20 minutes :) Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Db_Adapter_Exception' with message 'Configuration array must have a key for 'dbname' that names the database instance' What does this error mean?   Currently within my Project we are using JSDoc, we have recently started to implement Angular and I want to continue using JSDoc to ensure that all the documentation is within the same place. I have taken a look at people mainly just saying to use ngDoc but this isn't really a viable option as we will always have separate JavaScript and I ideally would have everything together. /** * @author Example <[email protected]> * @copyright 2014 Example Ltd. • Rails 3) Delete, Destory, and Routing

  The problem is the code below <%= button_to t('.delete'), @post, :method => :delete, :class => :destroy %> My Post model has many relations that are dependent on delete. However, the code above will only remove the post, leaving its relations intact. The problem is that methods delete and destroy are different in that method delete doesn't instantiate the object. So I need to use "destroy" instead of "delete" my post. <%= button_to t('.delete'), @post, :method => :destroy %> gives me routing error. No route matches [POST] "/posts/2" <%= button_to t('.delete'), @post, Post.destroy(@post) %> deletes the post without clicking the button. Could anyone help me with this? • How to set up site specific configuration vs application configuration in Zend Framework?

  Being fairly new to Zend Framework, I've been reading and trying out various tutorials on the web and books I've purchased. One thing all the tutorials do is hard code certain values into into the bootstrap or other code. For example, setting the title: $this-_view-headTitle('MySite'); I realize this can be set in the application.ini file, but I don't think that is appropriate either if you are distributing the application to other sites. I would be interested in hearing ideas where application specific settings are set in the application.ini file and loaded: $application = new Zend_Application( APPLICATION_ENV, APPLICATION_PATH.'/configs/application.ini' ); Then somewhere in the bootstrap, checking for a config.ini file and adding these to currently existing application config array, and if config.ini does not exist, retrieving such site specific configs from a database and writing the config.ini file (Obviously the file deleted and rewritten if a value is changed in the database). I don't need to see how the file is written or what not... just a general idea of how others are handling such things. Or provide different ideas of doing this? I would rather end up using something like this when setting various site specific configurations: $this->_view->headTitle($config->site->title); Hope this makes sense :-)

• Tomcat 6: Access Control Exception?

  I'm trying to setup a tomcat6 server, and I'm trying to match another setup someone else established. However, my deployment (default Ubuntu install) uses a policy.d/ directory structure, and the established server just uses a catalina.policy file. I've tried setting every entry in policy.d to match the given catalina.policy, but I still get the following stacktrace on boot (from localhost log). I have two questions, then. First, how do I get tomcat to use a single poilcy file, rather than the directory structure presented by policy.d/? Secondly, why, when I specify all files to use the same policy, do I still get the stack trace below? To be honest, I'm not even sure where to start on this one - never guessed it would be so much trouble to add a component right from the disk. • Can't connect to DeploymentShare$ from PC attempting to MDT, but can other PCs on the network

  I am in the process of setting up MDT and have run across a problem. MDT is installed on a Windows 2012 server, MDT version 6.2.5019.0. Using WDS as well. Active Directory domain, the server is up to date and on the network. I boot up the PC, it gets an address from DHCP, pulls down the LiteTouchPE_x64.wim image and goes into the MS Solution Accelerators screen, the Processing Bootstrap Settings box comes up and processes for a couple of seconds, then goes away, it sits there for another minute or so and then gives the error: A connection to the deployment share (\\Acme-MDT\DeploymentShare$) could not be made. Can not reach the DeployRoot. Possible Cause: Network Routing error or Network Configuration Error." I can then retry or cancel. I have seen this error online but so far nothing that helps fix it, but seems to be an issue with the FQDN. I verified that I am getting an IP address and that I can successfully ping the MDT server if I use the FQDN, but can not just by it's A record of Acme-MDT. I tried manually mapping the network share using net use and it works if I use the FQDN, but it fails with an error code 53, "Network path not found" if I just use the A record of Acme-MDT. Here is the net use command I'm using: net use * \\Acme-MDT\DeploymentShare$ /u:Domain\Administrator It gives the error System Error 53, Network path not found (and doesn't prompt for a password), but if I use the FQDN of \\Acme-MDT.domain.com\DeploymentShare$ it works fine to map the drive. I guess the problem is, when it tries to load the image, it is trying to start from \\Acme-MDT\DeploymentShare$ and I need it to start from \\Acme-MDT.domain.com\DeploymentShare$, but not sure how to get it to do that. I've put the fully qualified path in CustomSettings.ini and bootstrap, updated the deployment share, regenerated the boot image and replaced the boot wim in WDS. Or, if someone has an idea as to why it's acting this way and knows a way around it. The end result is what matters! :) I did verify in DNS that Acme-MDT is there, with the proper IP, and I can successfully use the net use command to map this drive from a couple other computers that are already on the network. I am assuming it has something to do with that computer not already being part of the domain, but I'm honestly at a loss as to how to fix it. Any ideas are appreciated, thanks in advance for your help!

My setup is as follows: tomcat6: /etc/tomcat6 Solr: /app/solr/example I have a solr-example.xml in /etc/tomcat6/Catalina/localhost/, which reads: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <Context docBase="/app/solr/example/apache-solr-3.4.0.war" debug="0" crossContext="true"> <Environment name="solr/home" type="java.lang.String" value="/app/solr/example" override="true"/> </Context> I don't see anything in the logs (/var/log/tomcat6) ... only entires in catalina.out are regarding the starting and stopping of tomcat6. My questions are: 1.What else do I need to do to get "Solr Admin" to work under Tomcat? 2.Where are these "cores" supposed to be specified? I see an entry in /app/solr/example/solr/solr.xml ? <solr persistent="false"> adminPath: RequestHandler path to manage cores. If 'null' (or absent), cores will not be manageable via request handler <cores adminPath="/admin/cores" defaultCoreName="collection1"> <core name="collection1" instanceDir="." /> </cores> </solr> 3.How do I got about ensuring that logs are working correctly? I can't find logs that contain mention of the 404 above. • SQL server 2008 R2 installation error

  I have a windows 7,32 bit laptop. I am the administrator with all permissions. when I click on the SQL server 2008R2 set up file,it says : "SQL server set up has encountered the following error:Failed to retreive data for this request" click on OK. I have uninstalled all the components of SQL from control panel. I used Windows installer clean up to remove the files(which I must have not done ),but still no go. When I connect to the web interface it works fine, but when I try to connect via JMX I get the message: javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: t3://127.0.0.1:7001: Bootstrap to 127.0.0.1/127.0.0.1:7001 failed. It is likely that the remote side declared peer gone on this JVM] Does anyone know what this means?

  I'm trying to bootstrap a windows 2008 R2 Server with chef and i'm receiving this error :"CScript Error: Execution of the Windows Script Host failed. (0x800A0007)". After some research i find out that i must install the "specific_install" gem and use Knife-windows gem from git but when i'm trying to install gem with this command "gem specific_install -l https://github.com/opscode/knife-windows.git" i'm receiving the following error : "ERROR: While executing gem ... (NoMethodError) undefined method `build' for Gem::Package:Module" What am i doing wrog? Thank you in advance
