• ARM Linux kernel debugging on AT91SAM9261

  I have ported Linux to AT91SAM9261 board, I have compiled my own Bootstrap, Uboot, Kernel and filesystem. Now I want to debug my Linux kernel 2.6.30 using KGDB and GDB. I have host with Ubuntu installed and target (AT91SAM9261) with kernel 2.6.30, I want to debug my Linux kernel 2.6.30 using serial/Ethernet. In KGDB official site they have given KGDB patch for x86, but not for ARM. Is it possible to debug my ARM linux kernel on AT91SAM9261?

• Jetty interprets JETTY_ARGS as file name

  I'm running Jetty (version "null 6.1.22") on Ubuntu 10.04. It's running fine until I need JSP support. According to several blog posts I need to set the JETTY_ARGS to OPTIONS=Server,jsp. However, if I put this into /etc/default/jetty: JETTY_ARGS=OPTIONS=Server,jsp and restart Jetty via /etc/init.d/jetty stop && /etc/init.d/jetty start, it reports success, but does not accept connections. I'm not sure.). This doesn't seem to make any sense to me, especially since that directory is entirely empty. I've verified this with several other Strings, not only OPTIONS=Server,jsp.

  hi, i am trying to run openmeetings in my CentOS vps. when i run $ ./red5.sh after a lot of lines it says: Bootstrap Complete and a few lines before it it says: Caused by: java.net.BindException: Address already in use at sun.nio.ch.Net.bind(Native Method) ... i have tried red5.sh with root and a nomral user. both gives error like that. any suggestion?

• How can I generate XML application configuration using Zend_Tool?

  When creating a new project using zf create project myproject it will create a default project layout with an application.ini in the configs folder. Where can I change these default settings so that it generates (and uses) an XML file (application.xml)? I've looked at the documentation for Zend_Tool (http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.tool.html), but there seems to be no information on how to do this. And suppose you'd like to use a different default folder layout (ie. use htdocs instead of public as your document root), is there a way to specify this as well? Any pointers to relevant information (btw I've looked at the Quickstart, nothing relevant is mentioned there unless I'm overlooking it)? edit I already tried creating a profile (stored in .zf/project/profiles), and used that to create a project (using zf create project myproject myprofile) but that doesn't change anything, even though the .zfproject.xml file in the root of the new project does contain the <applicationConfigFile type="xml"/> setting... • error initializing multiple configuration files

• Unable to install juju-gui locally?

  I'm attempting to setup juju-gui in a VM running Ubuntu 13.10 x64 Server. I intend to see if it's possible to deploy an openstack "all in one" node, using this method in that particular VM. I've installed and bootstrapped juju in a local environment : $sudo apt-get install juju-core $sudo apt-get install juju-local $juju switch local $sudo juju bootstrap Next I've executed the following : $juju deploy juju-gui $juju expose juju-gui $watch juju status I was expecting to see juju-gui open up some ports and become available via a web-browser but nothing like that happened - why? how do I fix that? I believe I've managed to follow the deployment guides to the letter? Are there any detailed walkthroughs regarding deploying openstack on 13.10, using juju? Cheers :)

• Should I group all of my .js files into one large bundle?

  One of the difficulties I'm running into with my current project is that the previous developer spaghetti'd the javascript code in lots of different files. We have modal dialogs that are reused in different places and I find that the same .js file is often loaded twice. My thinking is that I'd like to just load all of the .js files in _Layout.cshtml, and that way I know it's loaded once and only once. Also, the client should only have to download this file once as well. It should be cached and therefore shouldn't really be a performance hit, except for the first page load. I should probably note that I am using ASP.Net bundling as well and loading most of the jQuery/bootstrap/etc from CDN's. Is there anything else that I'm not thinking of that would cause problems here? Should I bundle everything into a single file?

I updated juju on the host with a classical: apt-get install juju And had a plentyful of python errors in juju debug-log probably because juju processes weren't restarted. In order to restart juju processes, I had to do a complete: juju destroy-environment juju bootstrap which deleted all contents in /var/lib/lxc. I was warned, and this was not an issue, but will be when I'll be in a production environment. Is there a way to relaunch juju daemons without stop/starting LXC local VMs ?

  Its seems like there are 2 ways someone can handle naming classes for elements that are designed to have multiple classes. One way would be: <span class="btn btn-success"></span> This is something that twitter bootstrap uses. Another possibility I would think would be: <span class="btn success"></span> It seems like the zurb foundation uses this method. Now the benefits of the first that I can see is that there less chance of outside css interfering with styling as the class name btn-success would not be as common as the class name success. The benefit of the second as I can see is that there is less typing and potential better style reuse. Are there any other benefits/disadvantages of either option and is one of them more popular than the other?

• Optimizing data downloaded via 'link' media queries and asynchronous loading

  I have a website that tries to make sensible use of media queries and avoid 'expensive' CSS for users of mobile devices. My eventual goal is to make it 'mobile-first' but for now, since it is based on Twitter Bootstrap it isn't. I included some background images (Base64 encoded) and styles that would only apply to "full-size" browsers in a separate stylesheet loaded asynchronously via modernizr.load. In Firefox (but not webkit browsers) it makes it so that if you navigate away from the homepage and then return, the content (specifically, all those extras) 'blinks' when it finishes loading...or maybe I should say reloading. If, instead of using modernizr.load, I include that stylesheet via a link... in the head with a media query attribute will it prevent the data from being downloaded by non-matching browsers (mobile, based on screensize) that it is inapplicable to?

Those buttons show modal-views (I am using bootstrap) with questions about user opinion. This modals views are on almost all pages of the site. After this modification the ranking of the site decreased on google search from the second place to the seconde page :( Is it the events-collected or the model-views added ? If the model-views are the reason, then how to better do similar surveys ? Did you have please similar experience, or explanation to this ? Perhaps it is the effect of panda4 update. In this cas, what can I look for to improve the site. How to debug the problem/reasons ?

  In my web application i have one page call it mypage.html When user clicks some link in mypage a modal window will be opened and he will see some html page. (I do this by Colorbox or Twitter Bootstrap now) But when user clicked a button in modal window, an Ajax request will be sent to my server. If request is successfull he will see some new modal window, else user will see another modal window. After all steps user will close modal window and tasks will be finished. Which jquery modal window plugin is suitable for this type of usage?
