  • disable scrolling to cell in focus

    I have a jtable inside of a scrollpane. how can i stop the scrollpane from scrolling up or down when a cell that is partly out of view gains focus? the problem is i am setting the cells to editable when the user mouses over them, so when you mouse over a cell that's partly out of view, the view changes suddenly. I don't like this behaviour. any ideas on how to change it?

    I'm writing a .NET 3.5 application targetted for Windows Mobile 6.5. My application uses an embedded IE control to display content. The IE application allows the user to finger scroll around the webpage (i.e. touch the screen and drag instead of using the scrollbar). My IE control has a scrollbar and when I emulate the gesture, I highlight text instead of scrolling. Is there a way to add finger gesture support to an embedded IE control? Thanks, Aaron

  • No middle-click scrolling in visual studio 2010?

    Just as I started to assume this feature was ubiquitous(middle-clicking on a page, then scrolling speed/direction is relative to the distance of the pointer on the y-axis). I can't believe this hasn't been implemented into the text editor in vs2010, I used it all the time in 2005 and 2008. Has anyone managed to find a workaround or am I a minority user of this feature?

  • Scrolling RelativeLayout- white border over part of the content

    I have a fairly simply Fragment that adds a handful of colored ImageViews to a RelativeLayout. There are more images than can fit on screen, so I implemented some custom scrolling. However, When I scroll around, I see that there is an approximately 90dp white border overlapping part of the content right where the edges of the screen are before I scroll. It is obvious that the ImageViews are still being created and drawn properly, but they are being covered up. How do I get rid of this? I have tried: Changing both the RelativeLayout and FrameLayout to WRAP_CONTENT, FILL_PARENT, MATCH_PARENT, and a few combinations of those. Setting the padding and margins of both layouts to 0dp.   • Tiled Image for background of DIV is making IE sllllowww when scrolling

    Take a look at http://www.pmverge.com at the "We're in Bootstrap Mode" DIV on the right-hand side. Having that background tile image is causing the IE browser (all versions) to drag when scrolling. What can I do to keep that tiled style but not have it slow down IE. background-image: url(http://blog.pmverge.com/assets/images/background.gif) NOTES Yes this is the Stackoverflow.com engine as I'm licensing it. The background watermark image is not slowing the page down (though it has about 50k).

    I have a flow document with images (created from drawings). I have provided a button for the user to enlarge the images (zoom) independently without zooming the text. Is there anyway, I can force the FlowDocumentScrollViewer to display a horizontal scrollbar for scrolling when the images are enlarged? Currently, the enlarged images are simply clipped off. I've tried using a ScrollView with a LinearLayout child, and putting my ListViews in the LinearView, but all of the ListViews lock to a fixed height with scroll bars. Using other kinds of Layouts means no scrolling.

  • Firefox and Flash requires 2 clicks after Scrolling?

    I've noticed this with me and my partners computers, take a look at this: http://www.uploadify.com/demo/ Those buttons are flash. If you scroll (scroll to the bottom then back up, using your mouse scroll) then hover over a button, it is a normal pointer, not a hand. If you click on the button, then it turns into a hand, then you can click on it to trigger the browse files window. Is there any way to fix this? Is this a Firefox bug (doesn't happen in Chrome or IE8)?
