An example for removing duplicate lines I've seen is: awk 'a !~ $0; {a=$0}' Tried using it for a basis with no luck (I thought changing the $0's to $1's would do the trick, but didn't seem to work).

    Guys, i have created text file in unix enviroment using java code. For writing the text file i am using java.io.FileWriter and BufferedWriter. and for newline after each row i am using bw.newLine() method. (where bw is object of BufferedWriter ) and sending that text file by attaching in mail from unix environment itself (automated that using unix commands). My issue is, after i download the text file from mail in windows system, if i opened that text file the data's are not properly aligned. newline() character is not working i think so. I want same text file alignment as it is in unix environment, if i opened the text file in windows environment also. How to resolve the problem.Please help ASAP.     So I have a project structure like so: MyProject/ src/ //subfolders and source code ..... tests/ package/ MyTest.php I am trying to run the unit tests in MyTest.php with PHPUnit but it has a use statement for PHP classes located in the src folder. So I tried to use the include-path directive for PHPUnit like so: (I am in the directory with MyTest.php) phpunit --include-path ~/workspace/MyProject/src/ MyTest Unfortunately execution is halting at the first use statement. What gives?

I want to split it so that each set of hash-started lines becomes a list: I can haz a listz0rs! <ul> <li>42</li> <li>126</li> </ul> I can haz another list plox? <ul> <li>Hello, world!</li> <li>Welcome!</li> </ul> If I run the input against the regex "/(?:(?:(?<=^# )(.*)$)+)/m", I get the following result: Array ( [0] => Array ( [0] => 42 ) [1] => Array ( [0] => 126 ) [2] => Array ( [0] => Hello, world! ) [3] => Array ( [0] => Welcome! ) ) This is fine and dandy, but it doesn't distinguish between the two different lists. I need a way to either make the quantifier return a concatenated string of all the occurrences, or, ideally, an array of all the occurrences. Ideally, this should be my output: Array ( [0] => Array ( [0] => 42 [1] => 126 ) [1] => Array ( [0] => Hello, world! [1] => Welcome! ) ) Is there any way of achieving this, and if not, is there a close alternative? Thanks in advance!

  • Building XCode From Command Line Issues (Updating Entitlements file location)

    The first error is a warning for complier 'com.apple.compilers.gcc.4_0' I don't know if this is okay and I can just not worry about it. The second tells me that my entitlements file is no longer at that location. I know this and I thought I had correctly updated it in Xcode's info window. This project builds fine in Xcode.     I have a pov-ray file, which defines a lot of cylinders and spheres. Sometimes these shapes are defined to have "color@", which makes the povray unrenderable. One solution I've found is to delete the offending cylinders and spheres. So a file that contains this text cylinder { < -0.17623, 0.24511, -0.27947>, < -0.15220, 0.22658, -0.26472>, 0.00716 texture { colorO } } sphere { < -0.00950, 0.00357, 0.00227>, 0.00716 texture { color@ } } cylinder { < -0.00950, 0.00357, 0.00227>, < 0.00327, 0.00169, 0.00108>, 0.00716 texture { color@ } } sphere { < 0.15373, 0.00601, 0.18223>, 0.00716 texture { colorO } } would turn into this text cylinder { < -0.17623, 0.24511, -0.27947>, < -0.15220, 0.22658, -0.26472>, 0.00716 texture { colorO } } sphere { < 0.15373, 0.00601, 0.18223>, 0.00716 texture { colorO } } Is there some way to do this replacement with a shell script?     I am using a datagridview on a win app designed in c#2010 express. In the _row leave event of my datagrid I would like to use the TableAdapter.usp_insert() that I created. But how does one match up the data in the cells of the datagridview row to the parameters in the stored procedure. Thanks in advance I appreciate the education. This is what if found so far!     Is there any short way to achieve what APT does in Python ? I mean, when the package manager prompts a yes/no question followed by "[Yes/no]". The scripts accepts YES/Y/yes/y or "enter" (defaults to Yes as hinted by the capital) The only thing I find in the official doc is input/raw_input.. I know it's not that hard to emulate, but it's annoying to rewrite :|

    Hello, Sometimes I break long conditions in IFs to several lines. The most obvious way to do this is: if (cond1 == 'val1' and cond2 == 'val2' and cond3 == 'val3' and cond4 == 'val4'): do_something Isn't very very appealing visually, because the action blends with the conditions. However, it is the natural way using correct Python indentation of 4 spaces. Edit: By the way, for the moment I'm using: if ( cond1 == 'val1' and cond2 == 'val2' and cond3 == 'val3' and cond4 == 'val4'): do_something Not very pretty, I know :-) Can you recommend an alternative way ?

    Hi, I hope I can explain this good enough. I have 3 tables. wo_parts, workorders and part2vendor. I am trying to get the cost price of all parts sold in a month. I have this script. $scoreCostQuery = "SELECT SUM(part2vendor.cost*wo_parts.qty) as total_score FROM part2vendor INNER JOIN wo_parts ON (wo_parts.pn=part2vendor.pn) WHERE workorder=$workorder"; What I am trying to do is each part is in wo_parts (under partnumber [pn]). The cost of that item is in part2vendor (under part number[pn]). I need each part price in part2vendor to be multiplied by the quantity sold in wo_parts. The way all 3 tie up is workorders.ident=wo_parts.workorder and part2vendor.pn=wo_parts.pn. I hope someone can assist. The above script does not give me the same total as when added by calculator.
