• IE8 + Jquery ajax call giving parsererror : for json data which seems valid in Firefox

  The ajax call works fine in FF. the data returned is in JSON here is an example from FF firebug - {"noProfiles": "No profiles have been created, lets start now !"} When I try to print the error in IE8 (& in compatibility modes as well), it says "parsererror". But the output seems to be valid JSON. Here is the ajax function call I'm making. • App Engine Authentication Error

  I have an app hosted by google app engine, and I am having trouble with authentication. When I login using my admin account and try to access the admin page or members pages, I just get a blank screen. I can login, and the members only menu shows when I login, but I just can't see any data from the members pages. I'm not really sure where I should start checking? My app is registered with my google apps account and I am using the only admin login that is there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

• problem with codeigniter using odbc database driver

  i’ve run into a curious problem with codeigniter's odbc driver. i’m connecting from a linux machine to an MSSQL 2008 machine using FreeTDS. while i get that the ‘num_rows’ function always returns -1, and that is fully a database/driver issue - for some reason when i try to create a -result(), the whole application crashes (error 500, sometimes just a blank page), if i’m lucky, i get an error message informing me that the application died because it tried to allocated 2 terrabytes of memory(!). This happens irregularly, ie: every few refreshes. sometimes it runs fine, sometimes the page returns error 500 and sometimes it gives the memory allocation error - in any case it’s not really something that can be reproduced with percision, and the queries are SUPER simple. ideas anyone?

  I a working with Django forms. The issue I have is that Foreign Key fields and those using initial take all associated entries (all records associated with that record other then the one entry i wanted e.g instead of getting a primary key, i get the primary key, post subject, post body and all other values attributed with that record). The form and the other associated queries still work well, but this behaviour is clogging my database. How do i get the specific field i want instead of all records. An example of my models is here: A form field for childParentId returns postID, postSubject and postBody instead of postID alone. • Remove favicon using javascript in Google Chrome

  How can you remove the favicon using Javascript in google chrome? The goal is to return it to the browser default, which is in this case a blank image. I found this question, but it doesn't work if you leave the link.href attribute as empty. Even if the favicon is set because there is a favicon.ico file on the server, I'd like to remove it and set it back to the default. This only needs to work in chrome. Thanks!

  Question Is it possible using Django's aggregation capabilities to calculate a sumproduct? Background I am modeling an invoice, which can contain multiple items. The many-to-many relationship between the Invoice and Item models is handled through the InvoiceItem intermediary table. The total amount of the invoice—amount_invoiced—is calculated by summing the product of unit_price and quantity for each item on a given invoice. Below is the code that I'm currently using to accomplish this, but I was wondering if there is a better way to handle this using Django's aggregation capabilities. I have Eclipse installed on my machine along with ADT plugin and i have downloaded the source code and imported it in a eclipse. and tried to run it on Android 1.6 platform but somehow i am not getting the map instead i m just getting blank screen with grid in it.   I have 4 directories with images for an animation. I would like to take the set of images and generate a single image with the 4 images arranged into a 2x2 grid for each frame of the animation. • Correct way to load image into UIWebView from NSData object

  I have downloaded a gif image into an NSData object (I've checked the contents of the NSData object and it's definitely populated). Now I want to load that image into my UIWebView. I've tried the following: [webView loadData:imageData MIMEType:@"image/gif" textEncodingName:nil baseURL:nil]; but I get a blank UIWebView. Loading the image from the same URL directly works fine: NSURLRequest *request = [NSURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:imageUrl]]; [imageView loadRequest:request]; Do I need to set the textEncodingName to something, or am I doing something else wrong? I want to load the image manually so I can report progress to the user, but it's an animated gif, so when it's done I want to show it in a UIWebView. Edit: Perhaps I need to wrap my image in HTML somehow? Is there a way to do this without having to save it to disk?

• UIImages not displaying in TableView on iPhone, but working in Simulator

  Hi, I have a UITable View that displays an image in the left hand side of the table cell, and it works fine in the simulator. Only problem is, once I ran it on my device no images appear. It's just a blank white space. Have checked that images are added to resource folder for build (which they are) and that capitals etc. match (which they do). Any ideas? Thanks. • Random Gui errors using C# Mono on OSX

  Hello. Im developing a app in c# (winforms), which uses mono to run on osx. It contains some dynamic controls, for example a custom groupbox which contains some labels and textboxes, a button etc. these boxes can both be added and removed dynamically. Problem arises both when they are created, and removed, or even when a messagebox is shown. What happens is that sometimes on rendering white boxes appears, or some labels are not drawn correctly. And sometimes when a messagebox appears, it first opens up like 5 dummies which are just blank, and which you cant close. Am i doing something wrong, should i sleep the gui thread a bit after each creation, or should i invalidate stuff on my own? Or should i try GTK#? Many thanks on input on this, Erik

I want it to check two fields and if it is a match I want it to print something and if it doesn't then I want it to continue searching. If there is no absolute match then leave the field blank.   I have two worksheets, Sheet1 Column A = Deptname Column B = Headname Column C = Username Sheet2 Column A = Headname (???) Column B = Username Column C = UserID "Headname" column in Sheet2 is blank and what I wanted to do is to get "Headname" from Sheet1 by using "Username". I have tried to use VLookup but it did not work if username in Sheet1 and Sheet2 is not exactly same. E.G, given two differents Username as shown on below. • Using RegEx to replace invalid characters

  Hello I have a directory with lots of folders, subfolder and all with files in them. The idea of my project is to recurse through the entire directory, gather up all the names of the files and replace invalid characters (invalid for a SharePoint migration). However, i'm completely unfamiliar with Regular Expressions. The characters i need to get rid in filenames are: ~, #, %, &, *, { } , \, /, :, <, ?, -, | and "" I want to replace these characters with a blank space. I was hoping to use a string.replace() method to look through all these file names and do the replacement. So far, the only code i've gotten to is the recursion. I was thinking of the recursion scanning the drive, fetching the names of these files and putting them in a List. Can anybody help me with how to find/replace invalid chars with RegEx with those specific characters?

• How to specify behavior of Java BufferedImage resize: need min for pixel rows instead of averaging

  I would like to resize a Java BufferedImage, making it smaller vertically but without using any type of averaging, so that if a pixel-row is "blank" (white) in the source image, there will be a white pixel-row in the corresponding position of the destination image: the "min" operation. The default algorithms (specified in getScaledInstance) do not allow me a fine-grained enough control. I would like to implement the following logic: for each pixel row in the w-pixels wide destination image, d = pixel[w] find the corresponding j pixel rows of the source image, s[][] = pixel[j][w] write the new line of pixels, so that d[i] = min(s[j][i]) over all j, i I have been reading on RescaleOp, but have not figured out how to implement this functionality -- it is admittedly a weird type of scaling. Can anyone provide me pointers on how to do this? In the worse case, I figure I can just reserve the destination ImageBuffer and copy the pixels following the pseudocode, but I was wondering if there is better way.

• How to get rid of Drupal CSS stylesheets?

  I am trying to accomplish the following. I need to use Drupal 6 as a project requirement, but I want to use it with my own HTML and CSS stylesheets for each node/view/panel etc. The problem is, whatever the theme, I always found that Drupal applies to my HTML content both my CSS stylesheets and the CSS related to the theme chosen. I have also tried, without success, using the stylestripper module (installed in sites/all/modules). No matter what I do, additional CSS stylesheets are applied to my pages, completely destroying my layout. What is the proper way to achieve this? Why stylestripper does not work at all? Is there a completely blank theme available? I have tried basic, mothership, zen etc, but I always see additional CSS stylesheets applied to my pages. This is driving me crazy, Drupal was chosen by someone else for its flexibility. Thank you in advance.
