  • Removing "Transfer To..." and "Show Converted Files" from uTorrent's context menu

    Under uTorrent version 3.1.3 (and possibly earlier), the context menu has taken on 2 new options, "Transfer To...", for moving a download to a mobile device, and "Show Converted Files", for built-in conversion. I prefer to do all my file management and conversions manually, and the options are, at best, annoying space wasters. In fact, I'm not sure these features are even available outside of uTorrent Plus, which is not something I run. Is it possible to remove them from the context menu?

  • How do I fix my recycle bin that doesn't show the deleted items?

    The icon shows that it's full. I just deleted stuff, so I know that it's full. But when I open it, it doesn't show the deleted items. The only option I have is to restore them or empty them. Help me out. It's VERY VERY important for me to fix this problem since I use this workstation for my studio purposes. P.S. It's a Windows 7 Ultimate (x86) machine.

    Hi All, I have a datagrid where each row has information on Employees in a company. I would like to allow each row the ability to show/hide extra information. My first idea was use the CollapsiblePanelExtender from the AJAX toolkit and have each row like this: <ajaxtoolkit:collapsiblepanelextender TargetControlID="panel2"> ExpandControlID="LinkButton1" CollapseControlID="LinkButton1"> </ajaxtoolkit:collapsiblepanelextender> <asp:panel> FirstName | LastName | Phone | Email <LinkButton1> <- this hides/show extra info in panel2 </asp:panel> <asp:panel2> <textbox ="FirstName"> <textbox ="LastName"> <textbox ="EmailName"> ... ...lots of textboxes where information is assigned from the database. </asp:panel2> This works very well but it can be computationally expensive. The extra information panel has a lot of textboxes/labels, all of which gets its values from the database. Everytime the page loads all the data is got from the database at the start, some of it is hidden. Is there a better way to achieve my goal? Or is there a way to only load an employees extra details when the Show/Hide button is click? Thanks in advance!

For example, when looking at RSOP for an OU, I have loads of options which are mostly not specified - can I automatically filter it to show only e.g. that it doesn't allow to use control panel or install software, instead of looking through all options?     Hi guys, I just installed xampp and I brought one of my live sites into it to be able to start working from localhost. So to view my site, I navigate to localhost/example.com I noticed some issues with images when on my html, I had for example: <img src="/new_pictures/05.jpg" alt="Central Market"/> Image wouldn't show up, but then I removed the / and this works: <img src="new_pictures/05.jpg" alt="Central Market"/> I seem to have a similar problem with the CSS background image, but I can't get it to work-if I remove the / there, the image doesn't show up on the live site. How do I make the background image show up on localhost?   • How do I show full names of folders that contain bookmarks in the Google Chrome Bookmark Bar?

    I have Google Chrome installed on Ubuntu and I have made a number of folders of bookmarks placed within my bookmark bar. The problem is that some of the folder's names are abbreviated like "Ru---" for "Ruby". This is kind of annoying when I have more than one folder that starts with "Ru". Also, my bookmark bar is not completely full, so there is plenty of space for these names to show. Anyone know how to fix this?

    I was wondering about the following two options when one is not using SQL tables but ORM based DBs (Example - when you are using GAE) Would the second option be less efficient? Requirement: There is an object. The object has a collection of similar items. I need to store this object. Example, say the object is a tree and it has a collection of leaves. Option 1: Traditional SQL type structure: Table for the Tree (with TreeId as the identifier for a row in the Table.) Table for the Leaves (where each leaf has a TreeId and to show the leaves of a tree, I query all leaves where the TreeId is the Id of the tree.) Here, the Tree structure DOES NOT have a field with leaves. Option 2: ORM / GAE Tables: Using the same example above, I have an object for Tree where the object has a collection (Set/List in Java/C++) of leaves. I store and retrieve the Tree together with the leaves (as the leaves are implemented as a Set in the Tree object) My question is, will the second one be less efficient that the first option? If so, why? Are there other alternatives? Thank you!

But when it runs within a runnable (runOnUiThread), the dialog does not show. Examining the pd variable on the debugger, it shows that is is created, it is running and it is visible, but in practice it is not visible. Any suggestion? UPDATE: I did the obvious test I should have done in the first place. I commented the DISMISS message. And the progress dialog did show up. It appeared too late, after the runnable was finished. I undestand now that the DISMISS message did dismiss the not-yet-visible ProgressDialog, that's why I did not see it. The question becomes now: I need the ProgressDialog to show BEFORE the runnable code is executed. And it is not so straight forward. My call hierarchy is like this: onScrollEventChanged --> runOnUiThread ( --> checkScrollLimits --> if need to scroll show ProgressDialog "Loading" get new data into table dismiss ProgressDIalog ) I tried something like this: onScrollEventChanged --> checkScrollLimits --> if need to scroll show ProgressDialog "Loading" --> runOnUiThread ( get new data into table dismiss ProgressDIalog ) But still the dismiss message got there before the ProgressDialog could show. According to Logcat there is a five second interval between the arrival of the SHOW message and the arrival of the DISMISS message. UPDATE II: I though I will use the isShowing() method of ProgressDIalog pd = ProgressDialog.show(...) while(!pd.isShowing()); But it does not help at all, it returns true even if the dialog is not showing yet.

  • Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate stirs a movement

    Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is known for his dedication and hard work in inspiring millions of viewers though movies by discussing social problems and motivating people to solve them. His movie Rang De Basanthi seeded Indian anti-corruption movement, Tare Zameen Par touched the problems faced by few challenged kids and the latest movie 3 idiots exposed how education institutions in India are producing lakhs of Donkeys out of colleges every year. He extended his dedication of serving the society to small screen with the launch of reality TV show Satyamev Jayate. Before you start misjudging it as one of those non sense drama / entertaining reality shows, let me tell you that it is not a typical music, games, fight or dance reality show. Satyamev Jayate is all about the real people of India, their problems and how to tackle them.  This is not just a reality show, its movement to educate people about the social evils. Its been many years since I spent couple of hours  in front of TV as most of the programs are too cynical or does not add much value.  In my childhood I use to anxiously wait for Mahabarath or He-Man TV shows to start but after a two decades I waited anxiously for the start of Satyamev Jayate. The wait was worth and the 1 hours 30 minutes spent watching it meaningful. When was the last time you were so satisfied after watching a TV show and inspired to do something? I don’t remember. Today, the show focused on female foeticide and its impact. It showed women who were tortured and forced to abort female foetuses. On the show few brave women shared their experiences of giving birth to girl babies and rough times they are going through with their in-laws & husbands. The show not only focused on the problem but also on the root cause of the evil,  inspiring people working to tackle it and what every individual can do his part to solve it.  The best part of the show is,  its not a blame game. When there is a problem most of the people quickly get into identifying who is wrong and start blaming them instead of solve the actual problem.  Aamir did not blame anyone for female foeticide – neither the government who don’t impose strict rules, nor the doctors who abort girl babies to make money or the mother-in-laws & husbands who torcher girl baby mothers are blamed. He careful highlighted the problem, showed horrifying statistics and their impact on the future society and few inspiring people working to tackle the problem.  He touched heart and stirred a movement against the issue. First time ever I voted for a reality show through SMS and it’s for Satyamev Jayate. I’m proud to do so.   • How can I quickly zoom in on the Mac OS X version of Word without having to use the menu?

    (I'm using the Mac version MS Word 2011) I used to happily use the wheel mouse to zoom but, after upgrading to the Mac Magic mouse (using only finger slide movement to scroll and pan) I can no longer hold Ctrl and roll the mouse to zoom (driving me crazy) and I can't see a useful keyboard shortcut and the zoom slider bar in the lower right of the Word screen isn't practical (in my experience). Is there any way to zoom in on the Mac Version of Microsoft Word 2011 without resorting to using a menu?

    I recently noticed in the logs of my home router that it relatively regularly lists the following entry: [admin login failure] from source 192.168.0.160, Monday, June 20,2011 18:13:25 192.168.0.160 is the internal address of my home server, running Windows Home Server 2011. Is there anyway I can find out what specifically is trying to login to the router? Or is there some explanation for this behaviour? (not sure if this belongs here or on superuser...)

    Problem definition: I transferred a tar.gz file from a Linux machine to a Windows partition.The Windows partition has mounted with the Linux server as cifs. OS : Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5 Symptom: After the copy process is successful, doing an integrity check with gunzip -t and the process get the following error: gunzip -t Backup-28--Jun--2011--Tuesday.tar.gz gunzip: Backup-28--Jun--2011--Tuesday.tar.gz: invalid compressed data--format violated And further tried to untar (tar -xvzf) and the process as well is failed.
