• Rails gives wrong headers after upgrade 2.3.5 -> 2.3.8

  I just upgraded from rails 2.3.5 to rails 2.3.8, but now my redirects are not working properly. I get the following as the response HTTP Headers: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 09:40:39 GMT Content-Length: 93 Content-Type: text/html whereas I got previous: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Connection: close Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 09:41:18 GMT Set-Cookie: _session_id=<correct id>; path=/ Status: 302 Found Location: <correct url> Cache-Control: no-cache Server: Mongrel 1.1.5 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 93 Anyone knows how to fix this? Despite the fact that the redirect is not working, the login-cookie is not set too (but I think, this is both related somehow). I have already tried to override redirect_to in order to set response.headers['Location'] etc., but they did not appear in the response.

I would like to check if there is a streetview for a given lat and lng and display a message.   I am trying to create a UIImageView called theImageView in the touchesBegan method that I can then then move to a new location in touchesMoved. Currently I am receiving an "undeclared" error in touchesMoved where I set the new location for theImageView. • mysql select multiple rows in join

  Hi-- I have a simple mySQL problem-- I have two tables, one is a user's table, and one is a photos table (each user can upload multiple photos). I'd like to write a query to join these tables, so I can pull all photos associated with a user (up to a certain limit). However, when I do something obvious like this: SELECT *.a, *.b FROM user_table a JOIN photos_table b ON a.id = b.userid it returns a.id, a.name, a.email, a.address, b.id, b.userid, b.photo_title, b.location but it only returns a single photo. Is there a way to return something like: a.id, a.name, a.email, a.address, b.id, b.userid, b.photo_title, b.location, b.id2, b.photo_title2, b.location2 etc. . . for a given LIMIT of photos? Thanks for any ideas.

For example in the screenshot above, there are 4 assigned locations, if I'm gonna remove (or unassign) "Mercury Morong" and "GP Hagonoy" from the assigned locations, only two must remain.   hi I have a page that has two dropdownlists(one for the locations, and the other for departments), an employee search textbox and a button. On the other page, I have a gridview. Now, what i want to archieve is that when a user types an employee's name in the textbox control, selects a location from the location dropdownlist, and a department from the departments dropdownlist, and click the button(search), the gridview on the other page must show the reqiured information of a SINGLE employee. Only one row must show. I have created a database for the employees. I know how to do this with the autopostback but i have not tried it using a button's click. NB: the gridview should show only one row of a selected employee. I'm using ASP.NET VB Your help will high apprecaited.

  This is probably a very basic question, but I seem to have issues plugging in jquery plug-ins. The issue seems to be around the location of the script, css and images and ensuring the css has the correct url to the images. The standard plug-in has the following folder structure (eg : JPicker) js css images My project is asp.net mvc so I have the default: scripts images content So, I try to split the jquery plugin to the appropriate folders (not sure if this is the best way?). Then I try to correct the references to images (background urls) in the css. I believe the url is relative to the page that is implementing the css file, not the location of the css file itself. Anyway, when I try the above, the plugins don't seem to work. I believe the issue lies with the images not being found. The jquery code runs without errors, so I assume that's not the problem. Any help/advice much appreciated

• cakephp htaccess for production install

  So, I have cakephp installed in what I believed to be the appropriate way for production code with actual cake files above the public_html folder. The app folder is removed from the cake folder and placed at the same level. Loading the home page works fine with the databases and the debug working. However, in trying to run some test files I get a 404. Obviously, I need some way to direct something like www.example.com/posts/index to the proper location. I am not sure as to why this is necessary since the index.php file tells cake where the app directory is located? Also, if I need to use the .htaccess file, how do I point to the proper location and exactly what am I pointed at?

• Updating Versioned .NET Assembly References

  I have a C++/CLI project that needs to reference a .NET assembly. I've done so by going into the project properties and clicking "Add New Reference", and browsing to the assembly location (it's not part of the solution, so I cannot create a project-to-project reference, and the .NET assembly is not in the GAC so it isn't in the .NET tab when viewing the references to add) When the .NET assembly is updated (that is, since it is versioned, it will increment its version number daily), the C++/CLI project fails to compile because it is still referencing the older version. The workaround I've been doing is deleting the .NET reference and adding it back in, but this is not feasible. How do I have it recognize the newer assembly?? Note: The older assembly is replaced with the newer one, so it is in the same location, but doesn't know that it should use the newer version.

• How to make dll referenced by ActiveX component accessible?

  I have an ActiveX component developed in C#. I'm referencing a dll which comes with other native dlls and it is loading them on the fly expecting them to be in the same folder (probably using Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().Location but not sure, I don't have control over them). There is also one ini file which is also expected to be in the same folder. When I run the application as Windows form app, everything is fine, of course. But the trouble comes when I run it within Internet Explorer as the base directory is at the location of iexplore.exe. Obviously neither the dlls or the ini file can be found and many temporary working files outputted by the dlls are located in Internet Explorer folder. The workaround is to copy all ddls and ini file into the ie folder but that is not something I'd be happy about. What is the proper solution to this? Can I somehow set the base path for the ActiveX component?

I tried to remove "http://" from destination. Same effect. What am I missing ?

  Hi, I am trying to create a view for a UNION of 2 select statements that I have created. The UNION is working fine when executed individually But the problem is only the 1st part of the UNION is getting executed when I am executing it as a view. • Need help with yum,python and php in CentOS. (I made a complete mess!)

  a while back I wanted to install some plugins for Trac but it required python 2.5 I tried installing it (I don't remember how) and the only thing I managed was to have two versions of python (2.4 and 2.5). Trac still uses the old version but the console uses 2.5 (python -V = Python 2.5.2). Anyway, the problem is not python, the problem is yum (which uses python). I am trying to upgrade my PHP version from 5.1.x to 5.2.x. I went to the sqlitecachec.py at line 42 which writes (line numbers added for convenience): 39: return self.open_database(_sqlitecache.update_primary(location, 40: checksum, 41: self.callback, 42: self.repoid)) Update 2 I think I found the problem. This post suggests that the problem is sqlite and not yum. The version of sqlite I have installed is 3.6.10 but I have no idea which version does python 2.4 uses. ld.so.config contains the following: include ld.so.conf.d/*.conf /usr/local/lib In folder /usr/local/lib I find a symbolic link named libsqlite3.so that points to libsqlite3.so.0.8.6 WHAT IS HAPPENING??????? :S
