  • Why does initWithFrame have the wrong frame value?

    I have a subclass of UIButton called INMenuCard and I am overriding the initWithFrame to include an activity indicator. The menuCard places correctly but any internal reference to "frame" give me "inf,inf,0,0" which means my activityIndicator subview is not placed correctly. If all values in a column is 0 or null then query should ignore to show that column(as shown in result) Note: if we run a query as select * from table1 it shows all columns. While I don't wants a query like select id,mon,tue,wed from table1 because no. of showing columns may change. Please reply to me. Thank you....

    so i have a list where i need to add new values constantly but when i do i need to increment it and insert it in between two values. List<int> initializers = new List <int>(); initializers.Add(1); initializers.Add(3); so initializers would have 1, 3 values. i would then process a new set of numbers. the initializers will need to have the values. 1, 5, 3, 7 and if i process another set of numbers it should become 1, 9, 5, 13, 3, 11, 7, 15 i know how to properly generate the new values inserted, i just need some help on inserting it in between the existing values of the initializers without having to add 2 or 3 more loops to move the values' positions.

    Hi i have a gridview with information about documents: name, document type (policy, guidelines, forms, etc), category, etc. I want to sort the gridview alphabetically (name) and by document type, but always having the 'policy' above the other document types when document name is the same. How do I do that? eg If I do sort by DocumentName, DocumentType ('policy' maybe not be the first one in the list) but if I do sort by DocumentType , DocumentName (I would get for example all guidelines first in alphabetical order, then procedures, then policies, etc)

    My question is comparable to this one, but not quite the same. I have a database with a huge amount of books, with different editions of some of the same book titles. I'm looking for an SQL statement giving me the highest edition number of each of the titles I'm selecting with a WHERE clause (to find specific book series).   • Freetype2 (error-)return value documentation

    In short, I'm looking for documentation that would limit the error situations to check for after a Freetype library function failed, much like the OpenGL and Win32 APIs document the error codes generated by their respective functions. I can't seem to find such documentation though, so I was wondering how to best handle translation of Freetype errors to typed exceptions. Background: I am currently in the process of implementing font-rendering capability (using Freetype) for my GUI framework, which makes strong use of typed exceptions to indicate error situations. However, the Freetype docs seem to completely omit what errors can be expected from what functions. That, if such documentation does indeed not exist, would basically leave me with two options: either guessing which errors make sense for a certain Freetype function (obviously prone to mistakes on my part), or considering every error code for translation into appropriate exceptions (less verbose since I would have to write the translation only once). Performance isn't really critical in the code that calls the Freetype library, so even the latter option would probably be acceptable, but surely there must be some kind of documentation on which library calls may return what Freetype error? Is there any such documentation which I just somehow managed to not find? Should I go the route of generically expecting every error code for translation? Or are there other ways to approach this problem? By the way, I wanted to avoid introducing some kind of generic FreetypeException (containing a description of the Freetype error) since I intended to completely hide what libraries I'm using (not from a legal point-of-view, mind you), but I guess I can be convinced to do this anyway if the consensus is that it would be the best option. I don't think it matters for this question, but I'm writing in C++.

Would I be able to search the registryPath variable above and get a count of the number of keys containing the "Entry Point" keyword? Assuming that there are also other keys existing without this keyword.   • A member variable's hashCode() value is different

    There's a piece of code that looks like this. The problem is that during bootup, 2 initialization takes place. (1) Some method does a reflection on ForumRepository & performs a newInstance() purely to invoke #setCacheEngine. (2) Another method following that invokes #start(). I am noticing that the hashCode of the #cache member variable is different sometimes in some weird scenarios. Since only 1 piece of code invokes #setCacheEngine, how can the hashCode change during runtime (I am assuming that a different instance will have a different hashCode).     Why is it that this works: $cacheMatchesNotPlayed = $cache->load('externalData'); $cacheMatchesNotPlayed = $cacheMatchesNotPlayed['matchesNotPlayed']; But this doesn't work: $cacheMatchesNotPlayed = $cache->load('externalData')['matchesNotPlayed']; Is there some reason for it? The second bit is easier to write.

    Currently in my .htaccess file I am setting include_path such as this: php_value include_path /mnt/webs/mysite/includes:/usr/share/pear However this isn't great if I need to put my sites on a new server as I need to go through a whole load of sites updating each .htaccess. Basically would like a way to basically say "use the folder called includes in the site root (I run a variety of different sites off one server so each .htaccess file and include path will be different). In a related question on here I had someone use: inclue(dirname(__FILE__)."/inc2.php"); But this is in code and might be a bit annoying to do everytime, however should I just use this method and scrap the idea of using .htaccess?

  • Webservice parameter value encoding

    We have a webservice created in WCF and presenting itself as a basicHttpBinding. One of the parameters is a string which takes an xml string. Looking at the soap the client generates to send to the webservice, the xml is encoded, with all < and swapped into < and >. My question is, is this all that is encoded, or has the parameter been run through HtmlEncode so that other entities would be swapped also? The reason I ask is we are submitting with our client to a 3rd party webservice now and they would like to know the details on what is encoded.

    Imagine a worksheet with 30 pieces of information, such as: A1= Start Date A2 = End Date A3 = Resource Name A4 = Cost .... A30 = Whatever B1 = 1/1/2010 B2 = 2/15/2010 B3 = Joe Smith B4 = $10,000.00 ... B30 = Blah Blah Now imagine a third column, C. The purpose of the third column is to determine WHICH report that row of data needs to appear in. C1 = Report 1 C2 = Report 1 and Report 2 C3 = Report 4 and Report 7 C4 = Report 1 and Report 5 ... C30 = Report 2 Each report is on Sheets 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on (depending on how many I decide to create). As you can see form my example above, some data may need to appear in multiple reports. For example, the data in Row 3 (Resource Name: Joe Smith) needs to appear in Report 4 and Report 7. That is to say, it needs to DYNAMICALLY appear on two additional worksheets. If I change the values in column C, then the reports need to update automatically. How can I create the worksheets which will serve as the reports such that they only diaplay the rows which have been "flagged" to be displayed in that report? Thanks!
