  • Looking for Open-Source or Licensed Personalised Greeting Card software

    Before I jump in at the very deep end and try to make my own version of Moon Pig (www.moonpig.com) I would like to know what (if any) software/platforms currently exist that allow for visitors to personalise cards with text and uploaded photos and then purchase printed versions all via a single e-Commerce style platform. I have Googled till my fingers bled and I cannot find anything that matches my needs, which are: admin can provide templates (backgrounds) for the cards users can customise the card with text (font style and colour) users can upload their own photos (minor editing e.g. crop) to insert into the cards user can purchase a printed card via credit card payment Seeing as this kind of e-Commerce has been around for a while now, I would have thought there were some systems to purchase that can provide this functionality?

  • flex data provider not working if XML has single node value or less

    hello, i get this error when i retrieve an XML that only has 1 node (no repeating nodes) and i try to store in an ArrayCollection. -When I have MORE than 1 "name" nodes...i do NOT get an error. My test show that XMLListCollection does NOT work either. TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert "XXXXXX" to mx.collections.ArrayCollection. this error occurs as the line of code: myList= e.result.list.name; Why can't ArrayCollection work with a single node? I'm using this ArrayCollection as a dataprovider for a Component -is there an alternative I can use that will take BOTH single and repeating nodes as well as work as a dataprovider?   • How do I set up a proxy object in the main application NIB?

    Hello! I would like to set up a proxy object in the application NIB file. The problem is that the NIB file is the main application NIB that gets loaded automatically by the application and therefore I cannot set up the UINibProxiedObjectsKey dictionary as described in the documentation. Is there a way to set up a proxy object in the main application NIB? Or can I tap into the code that loads the main application NIB?

    In my iPhone app I am developing, I have defined two windows: @interface The_NoteAppDelegate : NSObject <UIApplicationDelegate> { IBOutlet UIWindow *newNoteWindow; IBOutlet UIWindow *homeWindow; } @property (nonatomic, retain) UIWindow *newNoteWindow; @property (nonatomic, retain) UIWindow *homeWindow; and they are linked correctly in IB - but how do I show/hide these windows? [homeWindow makeKeyAndVisible]; works in appDidFinishLaunching but when I try [newNoteWindow makeKeyAndVisible]; again to open the other window (on a button touch event) in front of the other, the app freezes. I know this is a very n00by question but please help me out :)

    before answer me plz thinking about the futures of these kind of program and answer me plz. I wanna get some data from oracle server like: 1-get all the function,package,procedure and etc for showing them or drop them & etc... 2-compile my *.sql files,get the result if they have problem & etc... becuz I was beginner in oracle first of all I for solve the second problem I try to connect to sqlPlus by RUN sqlplus and trace the output(I mean,I change the output stream of shell and trace what happend and handle the assigned message to customer. NOW THIS PART SUCCEED. just a little bit I have problem with get all result because the output is asynchronous.any way... [in this case I log in to oracle Server by send argument to the sqlplus by make a process in c#] after that I try to get all function,package or procedure name,but I have problem in speed!so I try to use oracle.DataAccess.dll to connect the database. now I m so confusing about: which way is correct way to build a program that work like Oracle Developer! I do not have any experience for like these program how work. If Your answer is I must use the second way follow this part plz: I search a little bit the Golden,PLedit (Benthic software),I have little bit problem how I must create the connection string?because I thinking about how I can find the host name or port number that oracle work on them?? am I need read the TNSNames.Ora file? IF your answer is I must use the first way follow this part plz: do u have any Idea for how I parse the output?because for example the result of a table is so confusing...[i can handle & program it but I really need someone experience,because the important things to me learn how such software work so nice and with quick response?] All of the has different style in output...     How can I accomplish the following: When my app loads a UIView will show 4 buttons Clicking on a button will load a UITabBarController (not a UIView with a UITabBar) that can display multiple views. This seems challenging to me, because in order for me to use the UITabBarController I need to add this to the window's subview in my appDelegate. By doing so, my app automatically will load with the UITabbarController in the root view.

    Hello all, I am trying to display a text field that has text inside it, and display the flashing Caret at the end of the text. I have tried the following: Code: // ti_title is my textField stage.focus = ti_title; ti_title.setSelection( ti_title.length, ti_title.length ); I have also tried: // ti_title is my textField ti_title.stage.focus = ti_title; ti_title.setSelection( ti_title.length, ti_title.length ); The field is focused because I can type into it, but I do not see a Caret until I have started typing. This is not very good for usability. I have even tried removing text then re-adding it and then setting the selection again, but still not working. Any ideas? all the best nG

    helo guys i have class call Complex I did operator overloading like such Complex c = a + b; // where a and b are object of Complex class which basically is operator+(Complex& that); but I dont know how to say for example double c = a + 10; //where a is object of Complex class but 10 is integer / double I did define typecasting for a to be double get my IDE says that there are too many operands + and it somehow complains for not being able to "understand" the + it has to be in this format though double c = a + 10; thanks

  • Disabling repeating keyboard down event in as3

    now I'm trying to make the keyboard events to stop repeating.   • How to combine several movieclips into one scene?

    Hi everyone, I'm creating a website that allows kids to designs a tshirt. I will have four section, colour, graphic, text and print. I have created these sections on demos and they are all working. I now need to properly create them all on one movie clip. I'm having problems with it, when i select the chosen tshirt colour and move onto the graphic section the shirt is white again and hasnt came through blue. Its the same for every section, when I select a grahic they dont come through either etc when I click the next button it refreshs the page. Does anyone know how to create this kind of design on one movie clip using different frames and so that the colour etc transfers onto each new page? PLEASE HELP!!!

    Hello, I have a problem acessing a IBOutlet. I have a NIB inside which there is a tableview, a toolbar and an UILabel (encasulated into a view). The controller (that is the file's owner) is defined as : @interface ChoixPeriodeController : UIViewController <UITableViewDelegate> { IBOutlet UILabel* __periodeInitialeLabel; } @property(nonatomic, retain) UILabel* periodeInitialeLabel; - (void) setSelectedPeriode:(Tache_TypePeriode)typePeriode; In the .m file, this function is called by the parent window to init the Label : - (void) setSelectedPeriode:(Tache_TypePeriode)typePeriode { NSMutableString* tmpString = [NSMutableString string]; [tmpString appendFormat:bla bla bla;....]; self.periodeInitialeLabel.text = tmpString; } Into this function, I can see that self.periodeInitialeLabel is at nil. I can't see why ? Everything is connected into IB... Do you see what can be the problem ?

  • Storing Instances of Classes in Flex Shared Objects

    Is it possible to store instances of a class in a cookie or in shared objects. Basically in my application I have an object "Diagram" that the user can create. If they hit save, I want to store the current instance as a cookie and allows them to reload it later. Alternatively, I could see about getting them to store the saved version on the hard disk. But even then, all I want to save and retreive is my actionscript object. Is this possible? I've tried storing the object to SharedObject.data.diag, but when I try to retrieve the object from the cookie doing SharedObject.data.diag as Diag returns null.

    I have a web application in which a user has to upload images to a gallery. At the moment they need to upload one image at a time so it's pretty tedious. I'd like to implement a system where they could potentially drag and drop files into the browser, or select a folder to upload. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
