Right now I have this repository: [a]---[b]---[d]---[f] master \ \ [c]---[e] develop I want to wind up here: [a]---[b]---[d]---[f]---[g] master \ / \ / [c]---[e]---/ develop where g is equivalent to performing commits [c] and [e] on [f]. This is git checkout master; git merge develop, right?

    Hi - I'm trying to open a file located on a networkshare by giving the anchor tag path = file://///servername/folder/file.docx This works in IE8 and i'm able to open the file in word, however in Firefox nothing happens. I believe it's due to some secruity settings in Firefox. I tried about:config and turning off the checkloaduri value. But it didnt solve the problem. Does anyone know how I can make this work in both IE and Firefox.

    I'd like to be able to have multiple "sets" of open files in netbeans but i didn't find a way or plugin to do it. Say i have 5 file related to "bug xyz" but i want to start working on feature "abc". Instead of having 10 files open i'd like to be able to say "create new set of files" and work on those and switch back and forth. Is there some way it netbeans to achieve this ?

  • Why do most web hosting services support only php as server-side language?

    Hello, I have been working with java and python, so I found a nice web host which has support for these. But my question is, why can you find so hard such hosts? I understand that php is easy, I also understand that oracle host is hard to find ($$$ of course), but what do they have against some good open-source, completely free java spring, jsp, django, python, ror, perl etc etc ....   • Cannot open a .tif with color using .Net Image or Bitmap classes

    I am attempting to open .tif files that have color in them (300 dpi, PixelFormat.Format24bppRgb) using the .Net Image and Bitmap classes. I always get an "invalid parameter" error when the tiffs have color (works fine for black and white tiffs). If anyone has source code on how to open a .tif with color in it I'd deeply appreciate it. Below is what I'm attempting to do; this also fails when calling Bitmap.FromStream: using (FileStream fs = File.OpenRead(fileName)) { using (Image img = Image.FromStream(fs)) {} }

Adobe's argument is that anyone can build a Flash application without having to worry about being allowed to distribute it.   • Can I delay window.open()?

    So here is my basic problem. The user clicks the save button. Use Ajax to save the content via code-behind. THEN open a new window that loads the content from the DB. I just need a way to not open the window until the content has been saved. Right now it immediately opens a new window and the content isn't all saved yet. Any ideas?
