    Are there any services similar to codepad that will allow you to test Perl constructs on old versions of perl? Ideally, a system where you could enter an expression and it will tell you the oldest version of perl that it will work with. Of course it's possible to use CPANTS for this, but that seems like an abuse of the service (if only for making the BackPan bigger). And it could take several days/weeks to get decent test coverage on old versions.

  • Python slicing a string using space characters and a maximum length

    I'd like to slice a string up in a similar way to .split() (so resulting in a list) but in a more intelligent way: I'd like it to split it into chunks that are up to 15 characters, but are not split mid word so: string = 'A string with words' [splitting process takes place] list = ('A string with','words') The string in this example is split between 'with' and 'words' because that's the last place you can split it and the first bit be 15 characters or less.

    Hi Folks, Afaik, you can change/manipulate browser settings in Mozilla/Netscape browsers. For Instance "netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege('someprivilege');" Of course the user gets informed about that and needs to verify the action.     Hi, I do have two buttons 'btnPrev' and 'btnNext' What I want to do is to be able to determine the number of clicks of the button so that I could enable and disable them. The process is almost similar to 'paging' method. Initial state: btnPrev - disabled, btnNext - enabled 1st Click (btnNext): btnPrev - enabled, btnNext - enabled 2nd Click (btnNext): btnPrev - enabled, btnNext - enabled 3rd Click (btnNext): btnPrev - enabled, btnNext - disabled the idea is almost the same vice-versa (for btnPrev) any suggestions how to do it?

I can't find in the API how to get the "TO" recipients as String for each Message. Can anyone guide me on how to do this? At least a link where someone has already done it. Thanks in advance

    I have an application on my iPhone which sends out Http requests; is it possible to look into the HTTP stream using some tool?? I use standalone version of (IEInspector's) HttpAnalyzer tool on my windows PC to monitor HTTP traffic from all processes including the apps on Android phone (thanks to android debug bridge interface). Is there a similar tool for OS X that I can use for iPhone apps? Is this even allowed? Thanks in advance.
