  • Creating a .bat file

    Hi, I am trying to execute a command CSRUN.exe with certain parameters from command prompt. I am able to do this using command prompt. Everytime instead of invoking this from the command prompt, i thought of writing a batch file, where in a single click will help me and also i forward this to someone who wants to execute. Following is the one i am executing from the command prompt, which i want to have in a batch file C:\Program Files\Windows Azure SDK\v1.1\bincsrun.exe E:\Publish\ServiceConfiguration.csx E:\Publish\ServiceConfiguration.cscfg /launchbrowser Can somebody suggest me how to create a batch file for invoking this command?

  • Checking contents of Uploaded file

    Hi all, I am using ASP.NEt MVC . I want to upload .zip files for which I am using html input file upload control on my view. I want only .zip files to be uploaded. I want to check that my .zip contains only two files - both having extensions .txt and one of them having name "start". Can anyone please suggest me about how to check this? How can we assure that the uploaded .zip is really a zipped folder and not any other file having just .zip extension. can we use HttpPostedFileBase.ContentType? thanks in advance, kaps

  • Reading ResultSet from multiple threads

    Hello, In the database, I have a definition table that is read from the application once upon starting. This definition table rarely changes, so it makes sense to read it once and restart the application every time it changes. However, after the table is read (put into a ResultSet), it will be read by multiple handlers running in their own threads. How do you suggest to accomplish this? My idea was to populate a CachedRowSet, and then create a copy of this set (through the createCopy() method) for each handler every time a new request comes. Do you think this is wise? Does this offer a good performance? Thanks.

But it is happening only one time. next time when i enter some text and press enter key, it is not going to the Keydown event handler.     Hi, i'm using loadmovie() to load a youtube video player inside my flash website but when i load another video the old one doesn't stop, so i tried unloadmovie to destroy it but it seems that i did a mistake in my code This is how the code looks to stop the old one an load the new: vloader.unloadMovie(); vloader.loadMovie("http://www.youtube.com/v/Alw5hs0chj0&hl=fr&fs=1hJ-mPcGtC"); How to do that? please don't suggest me to use other objects or classes, i only want to edit that code.     I take the difference between two DateTime fields, and store it in a TimeSpan variable, Now I have to round-off the TimeSpan by the following rules: if the minutes in TimeSpan is less than 30 then Minutes and Seconds must be set to zero, if the minutes in TimeSpan is equal to or greater than 30 then hours must be incremented by 1 and Minutes and Seconds must be set to zero. TimeSpan can also be a negative value, so in that case I need to preserve the sign.. I could be able to achieve the requirement if the TimeSpan wasn't a negative value, though I have written a code I am not happy with its inefficiency as it is more bulky .. Please suggest me a simpler and efficient method. Thanks regards,

The problem I really have is "not knowing what I don't know". So far I know I don't know anything about the following (as far as computer networks are concearned) -sockets -ports -internet protocol (the whole IP stack I keep hearing about).     Hi All, Recently I went to an interview for a C development position. Instead of asking me questions, they just gave me 20 code snippets to find out two logical errors on each one. I just couldn't complete all of the 20 since it took me time to go through each of these code snippets. My question is: Is this the right way to judge a candidate? If yes, how can I improve over my error detection skills so that I don't need to waste a lot of time in the next interview?   • KMeans clustering for more than 5 million vectors

    I have hit a real problem. I need to do some Kmeans clustering for 5 million vectors, each containing about 32 cols. I tried out Mahout which requires linux and I am on windows, I am restrained from using a Linux OS and any sort of simulator. Can anyone suggest a KMeans clustering algorithm that is scalable upto 5M vectors and can converge quickly? I have tested a few but they wont scale. Which means they are slow and take forever to complete. Thanks

  • How to manipulate the GL.bindframebuffer to target to bind GL_EXT_framebuffer

    I'm trying to change the framebuffer object from GL_ARB_framebuffer and force it to use GL_EXT_framebuffer since my system is not compatible with the first one. Where in the solution do I need to implement this and how? more information on my problem whenever I create a new Windows OpenGL project from Visual Studio using MonoGame i get the error "cannot find entry point in glbindframebuffer in opengl32.dll" since the framebuffer it uses is GL_ARB_framebuffer which is only supported in Opengl 3 so in a github post i read Gihub post where they suggest this patch that in order to patch you need to force the frame buffers to use GL_EXT_framebuffer but I dont know how to force them to use the EXT instead of the ARB , btw Im using Opengl v2 Mobile intel 4 series card, which is Opengl v2 and ARB needs Opengl v3.

    I have multiple int arrays: 1) [1 , 202,4 ,55] 2) [40, 7] 3) [2 , 48 ,5] 4) [40, 8 ,90] I need to get the array that has the biggest numbers in all positions. In my case that would be array #4. Explanation: arrays #2, #4 have the biggest number in 1st position, so after the first iteration these 2 arrays will be returned ([40, 7] and [40, 8 ,90]) now after comparing 2nd position of the returned array from previous iteration we will get array #4 because 8 7 and so on... Can you suggest an efficient algorithm for this? Doing with Linq will be preferable. UPDATE There is no limitation for the length, but as soon as some number in any position is greater, so this array is the biggest.

These tests are run at several sites and they get automatically backed up into a central server. ii. They already have perl scripts which post process them and generates excel based reports. iii. They need a web based interface for comparing those reports and they need to mark and track issues which might be present in those data.     It has been suggest to me that the use of IF statements in t-SQL batches is detrimental to performance. I'm trying to find some confirmation of this assertion. I'm using SQL Server 2005 and 2008. The assertion is that with the following batch:- IF @parameter = 0 BEGIN SELECT ... something END ELSE BEGIN SELECT ... something else END SQL Server cannot re-use the execution plan generated because the next execution may need a different branch. This implies that SQL Server will eliminate one branch entirely from execution plan on the basis that for the current execution it can already determine which branch is needed. Is this really true? In addition what happens in this case:- IF EXISTS (SELECT ....) BEGIN SELECT ... something END ELSE BEGIN SELECT ... something else END where it's not possible to determine in advance which branch will be executed?

  • "SQL Server does not exist or access denied." upon VB.Net Deployment

    Have built a small VB.Net app in VS2010. The connection string to the SQL Server is as follows: <connectionStrings> <add name="IWSR_DataDownloadWizard.My.MySettings.sqlConnection" connectionString="Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Data Source=SQLServer;Integrated Security=SSPI;Initial Catalog=IWSROL" providerName="System.Data.OleDb" /> </connectionStrings> Within the VS2010 environment AND on my machine, the connection works perfectly, however when I deploy to clients I get an error message of: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. I've tried to search the net for solutions, have seen a few instances of people saying to NOT use the Server Name but the IP Address instead (this doesn't work) and some saying to remove the "Provider=SQLOLEDB.1", again this doesn't work. Can anyone suggest a solution please? Further information: Development System is Windows7 using VS2010 Deployment systems are a combination of Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 7 SQL Server is SQL2000 (soon to be SQL2005). TIA
