• Array values changing unexpectedly

  I am using cakephp 1.2 and I have an array that appears to have a value change even though that variable is not being manipulated. Below is the code to that is causing me trouble.   Here is my little function. It does not handle the results correctly. I do get all the rows that I want, but all the rows of the $results array contain the exact same values. So i make 2 arrays, a temporary array to hold the values after each fetch, and another array to hold all the temporary arrays. First i take the temp array and map its keys to the column names. Then i give it to bind_result, and call fetch() and use it like I would any other result value. • Why does this sql statement keep saying it is a boolean and not a parameter? (php/Mysql)

  In this statement, I am trying to see if there if the latest posting in the database that has the exact same title, price, city, state, detail. If there is, then it would say to the user that the exact post has been already made; if not then insert the posting into the dbc. (This is one type of check so that users can't accidentally post twice. This may not be the best check, but this statement error is annoying me, so I want it to work :)) Why won't this sql work? I think it's not letting the title=$title and not getting the value in the $title...   I have the PHP below on a file called fblike.php. On another file, I have the Facebook Like button. The Like button functions. I would like to run the code below when the Facebook Like button is clicked. I know that FB.Event.subscribe('edge.create', function(response) {} is supposed to run whenever the Like button is clicked. I know that I am probably supposed to use Javascript and maybe Ajax to cause the PHP on fblike.php to run. But after multiple tries, I can't get it to work. What is the specific Ajax code that I could include within the Facebook Event? Is there a way to add in line breaks at least for this or display the var_dump in a way that's more readable? I'm open to jQuery suggestions on manipulating the string after it's posted.

  Hi, I got two submit buttons in a form. One that deletes the post, and one to edit it. I want to display a fancybox with either the edit-form or a message saying that the user deleted the post. It's all decided by which button was pushed, with a "if(isset)"-sentence in edit.php. However I can't figure out how to get the value of the button within the serializeArray..   I'm trying to create a table using PHP. What I need is a table with two columns. So I have an SQL table with 4 fields - primary key id, language, word and definition. The language for each is either Arabic or Russian. I want a table that does the following: | defintion | |____________________| | | | rus1 | arab1 | | rus2 | arab2 | | rus3 | arab3 | | rus4 | | So it divides the list by English word, creates a for each English word, then lists Russian equivalents in the left column and Arabic in the right. However there are often not the same number for both. What I am doing right now is running a WHILE loop in a WHILE loop. The outer loop is running fine but I think I am doing the inner loop wrong.   I'm trying to send automated emails with mail(). It sends some emails but not all, around 50%. To test I'm using the same email address for all emails, and still only some get delivered. I'm using localhost XAMPP. • Improperly called Javascript function (parameter issue)

  I am trying to echo some HTML using PHP in a div. Everything was working until I tried to pass a parameter to the onclick=\"loadpuzzle()\" function. It ran fine when I tried onclick=\"loadpuzzle(4)\" and the function took the parameter and executed normally, but what I need is to pass the value from $row['puzzlename'] as the parameter, which I assume is a string (and so I enclosed it in quotation marks). echo "<td><input id=\"".$row['puzzlename']."\" type=\"radio\" name=\"puzzle-set\" class=\"puzzle_selector\" onclick=\"loadpuzzle(\"".$row['puzzlename']."\")\"/> <label for=\"".$row['puzzlename']."\" class=\"puzz_label\">".$row['puzzlename']."</label></td>"; I am getting a weird error in Safari when I try to run this.   I'm trying to assign a mapped IP address to a Windows 7 VM. I have setup running in Parallels 5 in wireless bridged networking mode. The problem I am having is that it looks like the VM is actually broadcasting the MAC address of the host machine and thus causing a clash of IP addresses on the network. I have tried removing the mapping for "alex-macbook" which results in the guest machine being assigned a normal DHCP address and NOT the one that is in the mapping of the router.

  Is there a way that I can monitor the traffic, Upload/Download (separately) using PHP? I`d like to echo out something like that: Upload: 523 GB | Download: 25 GB This should be based on the System Uptime, so if I restart the computer, the count should restart. Thanks in Advance.
