  • CompareValidator issue on Firefox

    Hi, I need to validate a date in a web forms application. For this I use a CompareValidator with Operator="DataTypeCheck" Type="Date" The problem is that this Validator doesn't work properly on Firefox with 2 digit years. ( javascript error: m[2] is undefined) With a 4 digits year it's working properly.     Hi there i am trying to access a form in mechanize with ugly characters in the object name similar to this agent = Mechanize.new page = agent.get('http://domain.com) form = page.forms[0] form.ct600$Main$LastNameTextBox = "whatever" page = agent.submit(form) The problem is the $ in the html name is messing with ruby because Is there another method i could use ie: form.element_by_name("ct600$Main$LastNameTextBox") = "whatever" Unfortunately i cant change the html

    I have x1,y1 and x2,y2 which forms a line segment. How can I get another line x3,y3 - x4,y4 which is parallel to the first line as in the picture. I can simply add n to x1 and x2 to get a parallel line but it is not what i wanted. I want the lines to be as parallel in the picture.

    I'm running this query: SELECT TOP 1 [DVD Copy].[Stock No] FROM [DVD Copy] WHERE [DVD Copy].[Catalogue No] =[Forms]![New Rental]![Catalogue No] And [Issue Date] = Null; Which works fine without the null check for Issue Date. I'm trying to select rows without a Date in the Issue Date column. Is Null the wrong kind of value to use for here?

    Hi SO, I'm just getting started with winforms in C# and things are going well, except I want to learn how to do something like: if user presses "proceed" button, it will run some code, and change the form, so that there are more options available to the user on the form.
