• Hibernate pojo file issues

  Hi all I am currently using netbeans for a project. I have created my db using MySQL Workbench. I have two relationships that are one to one. However once I create the POJOs using netbeans hibernate mapping files tools they are being created as one to many. I have tried reversing the db within workbench and the relationships are shown as one to ones. Has anyone had a similar problem? Cheers in advanced

• How to validate a Singaporean FIN?

  Can anyone provide an algorithm to validate a Singaporean FIN? I know with a Singaporean NRIC I can validate it via modulo 11 and then compare the result to a lookup table but cannot find a similar lookup table for the FIN. I also do not know for sure if the modulo 11 is the correct method to validate. I am aware the government sells a algorithm for $400 but maybe someone knows a cheaper way. Bonus points for c# implementation.

  Although my relativelayout looks very similar on WVGA800 and WVGA854 on the emulator, theres different spacing on some of the objects because I'm going off of marginleft or marginright. Since the 854 is a greater width, its pushing some objects differently. Is there any way I could target either one to adjust for the different margins?

  Is there any Java profiler that allows profiling short-lived applications? The profilers I found so far seem to work with applications that keep running until user termination. However, I want to profile applications that work like command-line utilities, it runs and exits immediately. Tools like visualvm or NetBeans Profiler do not even recognize that the application was ran. I am looking for something similar to Python's cProfile, in that the profiler result is returned when the application exits.

It does, however, make use of rich high level programming techniques such as compile-time metaprogramming, and OOP - including run-time dispatch. I want to draw ER diagrams, UML class diagrams and UML sequence diagrams. However to have a clean mapping between the two, consistent conventions must be applied. So, I am hopping someone has some references to material that establishes or applies such conventions to similar style c-code.

  Are there any repercussions using Negative Primary Keys for tables (Identity Increment -1, Identity Seed -1 in SQL Server 2005)? The reason for this is we're creating a new database to replace an existing one. There are similar tables between the two databases and we'd like the "source" of the information to be transparent to our applications.   I know its possible to use WebSockets within C# using a console application running along side the web application but Im wondering if its possible to use the requests on the C# web application to create the WebSockets. I've been looking through ASP.Net and Im starting to think it wont be possible unless I use straight up C# and create my own HTTP server and then use the same socket object to generate Web Sockets (similar to the way Node.js and Socket.IO work). Any thoughts on ways to include WebSockets on a C# web application without having multiple servers / projects?
