• Visual Studio inserting indents as spaces to html output

  Hi, I am using Visual Studio 2010 for an MVC website project. I have an big problem and dont know hot to solve it. When i am looking to the output of html in firebug indents in my aspx and ascx files are outputed as space in same places. I think its about line ending of files but i am not sure how to fix them. I am adding some pictures about problem. When i am adding a breakpoint it also add red background to spaces (this is problem) I try to delete spaces after hit ctrl+k d same problem happen. If i delete all indents make page 1 line without spaces output is fine but it not a solution.

• C# app that uses Excel Interop, easy switch between 2003 2007?

  I have an app written that just does really basic I/O on a spreadsheet. Read in a bunch of cells, do some sorting, and dump the output back into another spreadsheet. Works great on my machine. I have Office 2003 installed. When it runs on someone elses machine with 2007, it bombs, presumably due to the different versions of the Interop assemblies. I was hoping someone knew a way to dynamically change which/where the assembly is loaded from depending on the office version (getting the office version is easy from the registry). Sifting thru the rest of the internet, i didnt see anything to indicate that was possible :( . I tried installing the 2007 PIAs, but when i try to add a reference, they dont show up and i have no idea where to browse for them (they arent in the c:\windows\assemblies\; maybe the install didnt work). Am I going to have to get a machine with 2007 installed to build on every time i need to make updates?

• Squid+iptables: how do i allow https to pass-through and bypassing Squid?

  Hello, Basically started with Squid and iptables today (google is your friend). This stuff is going to be the death of me. I have Squid3 setup on Ubuntu 9.04 server as Transparent Proxy. It works sweetly when i use the proxy-box as my default gateway etc. The iptable rules for this setup was part of the tutorial. :P I can unfortunately not access https sites (such as Gmail or anything on port 443 basically). This is because Squid dont like what it cannot cache, which in this case is the https traffic. I would like to add an iptable rule so that i can basically access https sites and use Skype. Basically allow these types of traffic to pass through without going through Squid proxy? (bypassing it so to speak) Would anyone perhaps know how to do this or have a link to any sources that would assist me in figuring it out? Thank you.

  How do you create a lookup column to a Document Library that uses the 'Name' of the document as the lookup value? I found a blog post that recommends adding another custom field like "FileName" and then using a item reciever to populate the custom field with the value from the Name field but that seems cheesy.   Hey guys, I am new to android programming and i am trying to make an app that will interface with a website i have. It is a movie website with all of its information stored in SQL database. I know how to write the requests and queries in .asp but dont know how to get information from the database in my app. I want the user to be able to enter a movie title, and through a couple of stored procedures that are in my SQL database, return the info on that movie(actor, budget, genre....). I would like to have little info stored on the device, have all of the queries being sent to my SQL server and just have the info being returned. • How do i pass a number from a list as a parameter in scheme?

  I need to take a number from a list and convert it to a number so that i can pass it as a parameter. im trying to make a 1-bit adder in scheme. i've written the code for the or gate and the xor gate and also the half adder and now im trying to combine them all to make a full adder. im not sure if im going about it the right way. any input will be appreciated thank you. • asp.net page flickers

  I have an asp.net webform. I have the background as an image,that when i aslo have a menu bar, when i click on an icon, it uses response.redirect() to redirect to a new page, but when it loads up the page, it seems like the background image is slow. I can see the backgroud as white first and then split seconds later the background image will load up, this causes an illusion of flickering when it redirects to a new page. How do i solve this problem? When i tested using visual studio web server, it dont flicker. I am using a background image in the master page hosted up on the internet.

  Ok, i have a simple database engine (its a proprietary product written in vb6) for one of my applications... i'd like to create an ODBC driver for it so i can use some of my other applications (which require a database) with my database engine rather than microsoft sql (which they are currently using).... • App closes after facebook login in IOS 5

  I am using facebook sdk 3.1 framework for my application. The login process works successfully and returns to the app after facebook login both in simulator(iOS 6.0 and 5.0) and in iPad(iOS 6). But When the same is deployed in IPad with IOS 5, after login, it does not return back to my application and shows a blank white Screen or sometimes my application closes. I dont know what went wrong in iOS 5 and facebook sdk 3.1 framework, also i am not getting any logs to debug...   My problem is like this (OS is Sun Solaris): 1) At the boot time I want to start a process using a specific script. I am doing this by putting this script in /etc/init.d (and following other K and S rules) 2) The program which will be called by the script is located at $HOME/xxx/yyy location. 4) I am using 'su - {myuser} -c "{full path of the program}"' in order to execute the script as {myuser} 3) I dont want to hardcode the value of $HOME in the script but want to use the $HOME env variable only. How can I get this $HOME env variable in the shell script? Also what other variables will be available to me?

  Does anyone knows ANY material writen in/for DELPHI around the graphics topic? Planning to build a software for medical imaging processing . Thinking in 3D UI to absorve the power of nvidias GTX graphics card, and some real-time 2D processing integrated with high-end scanners. Please dont take this as a "rant" but, we have zillions of C++ books writen about that kind of topic and nothing for pascal/delphi. If you have some experience could you comment about that? Is it better to learn c++, to have access to that material? Can i go with delphi? I have experience with delphi, but none with graphics... And i have a deadline... Thanks.

  Hey Guys, I'm just beginning to play with the Twitter Streaming API. If I specify $sc-setTrack(array('just bought from')); This will correctly pull only tweets that have all 3 keywords - but doesn't maintain the order. 1) I want the keywords to appear in the same order like "I just bought apple from itunes" but the above also returns tweets like "I bought some apples and just removed them from the bag" 2) Is there a way to specify the exact words say "NBA basketball" with nothing in between - in the sense I dont want tweets like this to be returned Watching basketball on NBA tv I just want tweets which contain the exact phrase to be returned like I love watching NBA basketball 3) Also is there a way to specify negative keywords Any tips if this is possible.   i have a database that already has a users table COLUMNS: userID - int loginName - string First - string Last - string i just installed the asp.net membership table. Right now all of my tables are joined into my users table foreign keyed into the "userId" field How do i integrate asp.net_users table into my schema? here are the ideas i thought of: Add a membership_id field to my users table and on new inserts, include that new field in my users table. This seems like the cleanest way as i dont need to break any existing relationships. break all existing relationship and move all of the fields in my user table into the asp.net_users table. This seems like a pain but ultimately will lead to the most simple, normalized solution any thoughts?
