  I have a big problem. When I lauch my MapActivity this launch the ilegal argument. I think that i check all 1) add map.jar from api 3 to eclipse 2) I obtain a api key 3) In androidmanifest I have putted the uses-library and te internet permision 4) I launch the google api emulator for api 3. 5) I dont know that i can try. Please, any idea? this can't be too dificult, I can't belive. Sure that it is a stupid thing :S

How does it transfer requests to the rails app? what is passenger responsible for? And what is rack? How actually rails app can work just on webrick without apache?   Hi, I have something like below which will get repeated many times based on the function that get called for e.g acceptfunction() { inserter["quantity"] = sdd.getfloat(quantity); inserter["prodtype"] = sdd.getstring(prodtype); : : so on } Like accept above there are 20 more functions(reject,cancel etc) which will do the similar thing.But the parameteres they insert can differ based on function called. How can I automate this kind of code.So that I dont need to write new function from scratch.Basically what I need is if i provide parametres like ("quantity",prodtype) through some text file or xml, it should generate the required function with the input parametres. Is this task can be handled through C++ tempalte Meta programming or someother code generation tool will help me to do this?

• How can you stream results as json string downloads?

  I'm interested in presenting results faster in my mobile app. Is it possible to stream results out as the string downloads? I'm thinking about implementing an IObservable to push out the results as they are downloaded, but I don't know what algorithm to use to properly piece together the data which could be incomplete at any given point. Hope that was clear enough. CLARIFICATION: Guess it wasn't clear enough. My issue is the string downloaded is quite long. It can often take 15-20 seconds or more to download. I want to reflect changes faster to my user, so I would like to use reactive extensions to pump out entities as soon as a complete one is received. My issue is I dont know how to build the parser that can pick out complete entities from an incomplete response string.

MS-Access DB. i do: INSERT INTO Orders (userId) VALUES (123)" what i want to retrieve is orderNumber from that row. its an auto-increment number. so i did: SELECT orderNumber FROM Orders WHERE userId=123 but since it is on the same page, the SELECT returns: Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. • How can I get a nstableview to send an action when the user double-clicks an editable cell

  I am trying to emulate the behavior found in finder and itunes. Single click on a selected object edits it. Double click opens the object. I have set the doubleAction of the tableView but like it says in the documentation. "If the double-clicked cell is editable, this message isn’t sent and the cell is edited instead." I dont want this. Is there a way i can get that message sent even if the cell is editable? I really have no idea how to begin implementing this. Any general pointers would be appreciated.

  hello, i have a very complicated problem that i would like to share with you and maybe someone can answer it for me. before i start i have to say that i am very new in this. So, i have a coredata iphone app (much like the recipes app) that uses a pre-populated sql database. The user can add/edit his own data but the default data cannot be deleted. the useres data are ALL saved in the same sql database. QUESTION: what do i have to do in order to: - update some (not all) of the default data that are stored in the sql database without "touching" the user's data? (the model will stay the same - no new entities etc-) (if the user uninstall the app and then reinstall the new version everything will be ok but i dont want to do this, obviously). can someone PLEASE help in coding level?

  I'm trying to google for info on a situation, but I dont know what it is called, so its hard to find results :) I have a model with say 10 fields. But only some of those are shown on a particular view, lets say 3 of them: id, name, date. What do you call this kind of view that does not display the whole model? A partial view? The problem is that because 7 fields are not sent to the view, when the Update action is called on the controller, those fields are null, and the DB gets updated with those 7 fields set to null.

  I am using javascript map to store keys and values.Later on I check if specified key is present in map or not, but it sometimes gives correct result but sometimes it dont.I tried to print the map using console.log(mapname), it shows all keys, but i i try to check if some specified key is presnt sometimes it gives wrong answer. I was hoping I could use the image as a image slideshow like the link but dont know how. Also, how can I remove images/Radarlegend.png? I just need the radar images.   How does application/JVM know which classes if implemented key handling interfaces ? Does it use java Reflections or does it check all the classes for methods ? How can a application or executing JVM understanding to deliver the user event or call the specific methods on a class that implemented the keylistener interface. Does it look at all the classes if those methods are implemented or how does it know which classes implmented keylistener interface ? If you dont implement the keylistener Interface for a class but still implmentation all its methods. Do the class still process the user event occurred ?

  Hi all I dont know if its a django bug or a feature but i have a strange ORM behaviour with MySQL. class Status(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length = 50) class Article(models.Model) status = models.ForeignKey(status, blank = True, null=True) filters = Q(status__in =[0, 1,2] ) | Q(status=None) items = Article.objects.filter(filters) this returns Article items but some have other status than requested [0,1,2,None] looking at the sql query : SELECT [..] FROM `app_article` LEFT OUTER JOIN `app_status` ON (`app_article`.`status_id` = `app_status`.`id`) WHERE (`app_article`.`status_id` IN (1, 2) OR `app_status`.`id` IS NULL) ORDER BY [...] the OR app_status.id IS NULL part seems to be the cause. if i change it to OR app_article.status_id IS NULL it works correctly.   I dont have any experience for web services. please give me some suggestion about the task below. the task is: users will send a txt file (size should less than 20K ) from a .NET application, I need to write a web services which runs by jboss 5.x to read this file and edit this file and send the file back to .NET UI to display the edited version. question is that if the txt file is just test string or binary string, are there any restriction of the string length? if it's binary string, can I need to use BinaryReader class to read it? or not need special reader to read it? (this could be a dumn question :P) what if the .NET application can save the file on either the .NET application server or some shared server location, send a download URL to web serivces, can web services download it and read it? JBoss will be run on Linux sever. After edit the file, how do I send it back? Thanks for your help!

  Hi, I need to make a webform communicate with a winform and back to the webform. The reason for this is it exists a webform software already made, and now it's needed the behavior of a .net component only available for winforms. We've tried going with Process.Start and shell.execute but with this approach the software hangs or it takes too long to respond. The webform also needs to be called from client pcs in the network, I think this adds another problem due to the non possibility of calling the execution of a file from a webform remotelly, but I dont know much about this technical issue we've read some articles about embedding a winform in a webform, sending data from a winform to a webform, etc. and we would like to know what's the recommend approach (if there is any) for handdling a situation like this.

• How to call javascript function when url variable is sent

  Hello, heres basically what I need to get done. I have a jsp page which allows me to add/modify/delete an item. The items are stored in a database which I have controller classes to access(dont worry bout that part) When an item gets selected and deleted the id of the item gets sent to the controller to be processed. The item will not always be deleted if their is a foreign key constraint so I send either a delete=true or delete=false through url back to the jsp page. I would like to have it so a javascript function gets called displaying an alert saying the item was deleted or the item was not deleted. can someone please tell me the best way to do this? thank you
