  • Store and retrieve html from sql server 2008 and display using ASP.NET MVC?

    Hi all I am trying to store html and hyperlinks in my sql server 2008 database. I want to also be able to display the hyperlinks and render the html accordingly. I am trying to do this in ASP.NET MVC so I tried using HTTPUtility.HtmlEncode() method but didnt really store it thw way I wanted. So can anyone please guide me through the steps i need to take to achieve this.

  • Write Secure Cocoa Code

    Hello, Im making an application in cocoa and wanted to see if some strings in it were easily accessible so I ran OTX on it and sadly all of my code was found. Is there a method I can use to make my code more "secure" or at least encrypt/hide the strings? The reason I want to encrypt the string is it's a password for a server. I don'd need it really secure I just don't want the password to be so easy to find. Thanks for any help

  • jQuery slider not visible after container div is toggled

    I have a page which contains a jQuery-UI horizontal slider, created using a little function, inside a div which can be displayed / hidden by clicking on it's title, using $.toggle(). Problem is, once the div is hidden, when it is expanded the slider is gone. A simplified demo of the problem can be seen here: http://arr.gr/jquery-issue.html (file contains all relevant source code) - when clicking the "Advanced Options" title to hide and then show the div, the slider is no longer there. Any suggestions on how to work around this?

  • CSShover.htc file fixes problems on IE and creates them in Chrome

    Hi, I have attached a CSShover.htc file on my site to rectify the inherent problems in IE when creating a horizontal SPRYmenu in dreamweaver. The file has worked tremendously and displays fine on mozilla and IE. However on Chrome (my default browser) the menu skips accross the page by about 20px. The menu is quite wide in total at 975px. The menu still works on chrome but i would just like that the page displays the same on all browsers. Please help with your suggestions; Andy

    In PHP curl there are two functions used to ignore all SSL errors (invalid cert, self signed, expired, so on): curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST, false); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, false); I am switching over to use Zend_Http_Client, but I can't seem to find a way to force it to ignore errors. (I don't have a way to test it just yet, I wanted to see if anybody has done this before) So, does anybody know the equivalent function/functions to do this in Zend_Http_Client?

  • How do I create drop lines while dragging a menu item on a WinForm?

    I want to mimic the functionality of Google Chrome/FireFox for example, when rearranging your bookmarks, when you are dragging the menu item, it creates a black line at the proposed drop point, like this: I've already implemented the Drag/Drop functionality to rearrange the menu, but I would like to add these separator lines as an additional feature. Is there a way to do this within the .NET Framework (3.5) or shall I have to resort to Win32 api calls? Just wanted to ask before I went down that path.

Example 1: $regexpA = '[0-9]+'; $regexpB = '[0-9]{2,3}'; hasRegularsIntersection($regexpA,$regexpB) returns TRUE because '12' matches both regexps Example 2: $regexpA = '[0-9]+'; $regexpB = '[a-z]+'; hasRegularsIntersection($regexpA,$regexpB) returns FALSE because numbers never matches literals.     I am consuming various XML-over-HTTP web services returning large XML files ( 2MB). What would be the fastest ruby http library to reduce the 'downloading' time? Required features: both GET and POST requests gzip/deflate downloads (Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip) - very important I am thinking between: open-uri Net::HTTP curb but you can also come with other suggestions. P.S. To parse the response, I am using a pull parser from Nokogiri, so I don't need an integrated solution like rest-client or hpricot.
