• PHP rewrite giving 404, .htaccess problem?

  I have the following .htaccess: #Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteBase /phptest on my local testing server (http://localhost) I have to uncomment the first line for the site to work. Otherwise I get Error 403 (Forbidden). Once I upload the page to my webserver (FastHosts) I get Error 500 (Internal Server Error) if the first line is not commented out. If I comment it out, my page loads but it cannot find the page content which is mydomain.com/phptest/Home I get a 404. Any suggestions on what the problem might be?

• I can't change a value, for a web service using an axiom client!

  Hi.I just started learning about web serices. I succesfuly installed Tomcat, and deployed axis2 on it. I followed the tutorial from here http://ws.apache.org/axis2/1_1_1/quickstartguide.html . I made the StockQuoteService web service, moved the .aar file in the WEB-INF/services folder and tested it - it worked all fine. Then I made a client for the servce. I took the source code of the file AXIOMClient.java from the dir described here http://ws.apache.org/axis2/1_1_1/quickstartguide.html#clientaxiom , imported the classes in Eclipse Java IDE and runned it. I tested and the update method works from the browser when calling http://localhost:8080/axis2/services/StockQuoteService/update?symbol=WSO&price=144 But from my java client update method is not working at all, when calling getPrice I always receive 42.00. What am I doing wrong? or, how can I trace what is happening?

  I had another post for the same problem... I think I put the question in a wrong way.. Let me give more details: i have test.html in my c:\ drive and I have a local webserver runnin in qt, and i have some plugin written to that webserver which will get the request and send some response text "hello". in test.html i m making a xml xhr request which will make a GET request like localhost:8080/test which will return the text "hello" by that plugin. Now if I directly open test.html from C:\ it doesnt work, i mean i get response 4 and status 0, and response text nothing.. but the request is passing through webserver and plugin It works fine, when the test.html is put in the webserver pages directory.

• Urgent Problem: Production site is breaking because of cached routes

  Hi folks, i have an urgent problem. Essentially, my routing works on my localhost. But when i deployed this to production, the routes does not seem to work correctly. For example, given a new route "/invites" - sometimes i will get a 404, and sometimes it will work correctly. I suspect there is some caching going on somewhere, but i am not sure. Can someone help? • Unable to debug ASP.NET Applicatation using VS 2008 on IIS 7 running on Windows 7 x64

  Hi, I've been trying to debug an existing asp.net web application that requires me to debug against an IIS website. I've installed the app and can navigate to it on localhost. However, when I start VS 2008 as an Administrator and try to debug it, I get a message "Unable to start debugging on the web server. The IIS worker process for the launched URL is not currently running." I've looked through some of the help file contents and can't seem to figure out what is going on. Clearly, the IIS worker process IS running, since I can navigate to the site locally without VS open. My boss has suggested that it might be because my OS is 64 bit. Any ideas?

  Hi guys, i'm studying the fastcgi developement kit because i'm writing a new scripting language and i'd like to write a fastcgi version of the interpreter to run scripts as webpages. I'm using this example from the sdk, located at /srv/http/bin/echocpp So, in my httpd.conf file, i have the following lines : FastCgiServer /srv/http/bin/echocpp -idle-timeout 120 -processes 4 ScriptAlias / /srv/http/bin/echocpp/ ... ... AddHandler fastcgi-script hy Where 'hy' is the extensions of my scripts. Then, when i try browse, for instance http://localhost/~evilsocket/prime.hy I see all the environment variables as expected from the echo-cpp.cpp programm, except for the SCRIPT_NAME that is empty. Is there something i'm missing out of this? How am i supposed to obtain the full path of the script to run it inside my fastcgi version of the interpreter? Thanks

• Oracle data provider hangs IIS worker process when web site is stopped

  We're experiencing a nasty issue in Oracle 11g Release 2 where the w3wp process takes over and entire processor core, and debugging shows that the Oracle data provider is throwing ThreadAbortExceptions infinitely. A developer found this issue by doing the following: 1) Browse a web site that uses Oracle data connections locally (http://localhost/OracleWebSite) - we use IIS, not the ASP.NET dev server, for all of our sites. This ensures that the w3wp process is running and that an active Oracle pool of connections exists in the app pool. 2) Stop the web site (or perform a Rebuild All operation in Visual Studio on the web site in question). Our Oracle connection handling in the affected applications (all Oracle web apps) is well-established and robust. This issue does not occur if we disable connection pooling. This issue does not occur in Oracle 11g Release 1.

It works on my localhost, but when I try to run it on my server it just doesn't work, returns a blank site. I tried to use this code with others sites like example.com and It works, so I thought, that its becouse of facebook blocks my ip (i dont know why it would be true), so I checked it. I have run it with curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_PROXY, 'myproxy'); But it still doesn't show any information. I am trying to fix it all day, but its to difficult. Have you got some ideas?

It looks like this is possible with the new routing system. http://www.railsdispatch.com/posts/rails-3-makes-life-better This has examples of restricting routes based on IP address, and setting up an IP address blacklist for your routes, but I'm interested in a whitelist with just one IP address. It would be cool if something like this worked: get "/posts" => "posts#show", :constraints => {:ip => '127.0.0.1'} But it didn't. Am I just missing the right syntax?

  I'm working on an application which use ajax call to get html from the server. When I run it on the server, everything works fine. But when I'm running on a localhost, I've a 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' error. I looked arround and it seems like using jsonp could be the solution.   I'am using asp.net mvc version 1.0 and I've a problem with some parameter in a url! My url is look like so(http://localhost:2282/Tags/PostList/c#) routes.MapRoute( "TagsRoute", "Tags/PostList/{tag}", new { controller="Tags",Action="PostList",tag = "" } ); In effect the problem is that tag paramter isn't encoding and so simbol # is ignored! I am using an actionlink but maybe with version 1.0 isn't encoding parameter directly! <%=Html.ActionLink(itemtags.Tags.TagName, "PostList","Tags", new { tag = itemtags.Tags.TagName }, new { style = "color:red;" })%> With this actionlink only whitespace are encoding correctly, infact asp.net mvc become asp.net%20mvc and it work fine! But c# isn't encoding :( So I try to use Server.UrlEncode, and in effect it happen some stuff!!! Infact c# became c%2523 but it isn't correct again because hexadecimal of # is %23! Have you some solutions???? Route Contraints? Thanks
