• Scrollbar skininng problem

  I'm skinning scrollbar in my flex app and got one problem. This white square between scrollbars(view the image) ruibs all my design and i need to disable it, make it invisible, change it background color, alpha or smth like this.   In my surface application I have a SurfaceWindow with a SurfaceUserControl on. On the SurfaceUserControl I have a SurfaceButton but the ContactUp (and down) event is not fired. The ContactHoldGesture event is fired though. Any ideas?

  I am looking for a wsdl scaffolding framework, or even better if it was a POCO scaffolding framework. I need something like Dynamic Data, but running on wsdl metadata instead of db. I am currently using office infopath which generates decent forms based on wsdl, but I would like to have it in my app, and generated at runtime. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Also, I need to show the product name but at the same time I need to bind the productId as this is Id will stored in the database. any ideas?

  Say have this piece of code: var marker = new google.maps.Marker({ position: location, title: 'B&#250;fals', map: map }); This creates a marker as expected but if I hover the mouse over it I don’t see 'Búfals' as I would expect (instead I see the html code). This doesn't make any difference: var marker = new google.maps.Marker({ position: location, title: unescape('B&#250;fals'), map: map }); Any ideas? Thanks.

• Stuttering animation in iPhone OpenGL ES although fps is high

  I am building a 2d OpenGL es application For iPad it displays a background texture and numerous textures on top of it which are always in motion. Every frame their location is recalculated based on time delta and speed and the entire thing is being rendered at 60 fps successfully, but still as the movement speed of the sprites raises, thing look stuttering. Any ideas? Are there inherit problems with what I'm doing? Are there known design patterns for smooth animation?

• Django - urls.py - Filenames with a hash/pound (#) sign?

  I'm using django and realized that when the filename that the user wants to access (let's say a photo) has the pound sign, the entry in the url.py does not match. Any ideas? url(r'^static/(?P<path>.*)$', 'django.views.static.serve', {'document_root': MEDIA_ROOT}, it just says: "/home/user/project/static/upload/images/hello" does not exist when actually the name of the file is: hello#world.jpg Thanks, Nico

• iphone: floats cast to unsigned ints get set to 0 if they are negative!?

  try it out: volatile float bob = -344.0f; unsigned int fred = (unsigned int)bob; printf("%d\n",fred); output will be 0. obviously I am expecting it to wrap around just as if I had cast from a signed int to an unsgined int (which does wrap and act as expected on the iphone) we assume it is something to do with the floating point settings. any ideas?

• iPhone UIWebView touch cause Toolbar to appear

  I am trying to have a UI which is a full screen UIWebView. When the view is touched the tool bar appears. I can do everything but get the touchend event in the UIWebView. I have tried putting a UIColor.Clear'd UIView ontop and catching TouchEnd there and passing it on, but would like a better solution. I understand that we are not supposed to subclass the UIWebView from the docs. Ideas?

• Why are there differences when compiling with ./ and ./make in linux?

Currently i have the items templated so they show only the property Class.Name. so the ComboBox is full of Class.Name However i am required to give the user the option to display the property Class.Description instead. If it were just that easy i would be fine, but they want the option to switch back and forth between them at runtime. Any ideas?

My intuition is that he scraped pixels from the screen (one per 'box'), and then fed that into some program to determine the next move. How To: Allow users to edit their account without providing a password ...to enable my users to change the account credential and update without providing their existing password. However, I also want to use the Confirmable modules reconfirmable functionality Even though I have config.reconfirmable = true set in my devise initializer file the controller doesn't seem to be sending the reconfirmable emails. Any ideas what's wrong?
