The script is meant to clean up permissions that were needed during the execution of the application. find /opt/path -exec setacl -d user:myUser{} ';' After this executes and the acl is removed I am left with an acl that looks as follows user:101:--- /opt/path How can I properly call setacl to remove the user without leaving behind a uid?

  • Selenium RC cannot test on compressed html

    In order to have the fast speed of website, the web sever compress (gzip) the html files before sending to our clients. When running selenium tests, it shows a pop-up saying: You have chosen to open ... which is a: Bin file from: http://... Would you like to save this file? "Cancel" "Save File" It seems that the compressed html file doesn't unzip and browsers recognise it as Binary file.

  • can i use multiple PCH files in 1 project?

    I want to use the PCH file to speed up the build, so i store the PCH file in a separate folder and reuse it when build the project later. but I have some #import *.dll in my stdafx.h. so if something changed in the *.dll, the PCH file need be recreated. my question is whether I can use multiple PCH files in 1 project, so that i can put the import *.dll to another PCH and only recreate this one if something changed in *.dll. thanks in advance :)

  • jQuery bind efficiency

    I'm having issue with load speed using multiple jQuery binds on a couple thousands elements and inputs, is there a more efficient way of doing this? The site has the ability to switch between product lists via ajax calls, the page cannot refresh. Some lists have 10 items, some 100, some over 2000. The issue of speed arises when I start flipping between the lists; each time the 2000+ item list is loaded the system drags for about 10 seconds. Before I rebuild the list I am setting the target element's html to '', and unbinding the two bindings below. I'm sure it has something to do with all the parent, next, and child calls I am doing in the callbacks. Everything works locally, the local and server databases are the same The strange thing about the error is that it points to my local dev machine in the error stack.   • View dynamic code in Visual Studio

    I generate a dynamic assembly with CSharpCodeProvider, from a C# source saved into a string. I can run the synamic code at runtime, but if I pause the execution Visual Studio doesn't show me the dinamic source code in the call stack. It says "External code" and I can't step into that source code. I think VS can't find PDB or other debug info. Can you help me?

    Are there any Intel AVX intrinsics library out? I'm looking for something similar as 'sse2mmx.h' header which fall-backs to MMX intrinsics if SSE2 integer intrinsics are not available on compile time. Thus if I had similar library for AVX I could write optimized code for new hardware which would have almost optimal speed in case AVX extension isn't available. Googling didn't help much so far :(

    instead of SELECT * FROM mytable, i would like to select all fields EXCEPT one (namely, the 'serialized' field, which stores a serialized object). this is because i think that losing that field will speed up my query by a lot. however, i have so many fields and am quite the lazy guy. is there a way to say... `SELECT ALL_ROWS_EXCEPT(serialized) FROM mytable` ? thanks!
