  Hello everybody, I am currently developing a Web-Application using Java EE where I'm using a Rich-Javascript-Editor (http://www.primefaces.org/showcase/ui/editor.jsf). As the user can easily add too many linebreaks that will be convertet to linebreak-tags, I need to remove all these Tags from the end of a String. Is there an elegant way of using Regex to accomplish this? An example String would be: "This is a test <b>bold</b><br/><br/>" Where obviously the last two tags have to be removed. • Is there a good Open Source xml ide?

  I've looked around, and I'm surprised that I can't find an Open Source equivalent to Oxygen or XMLSpy. i.e. A rich XML editor with support for diverse types of validation, XSLT debugging and profiling, and all the other extra bits that make it more than just a text editor with syntax highlighting. I've seen a few (like Jaxe), that that offer different ways to edit xml documents, but nothing that rolls it all up into an IDE-like application. I'm sure this means I've missed some very worthy project. Can anyone point me towards such a thing?

• Breaking the SQL Compact 8K Limit?

  I am creating a desktop application that stores rich text documents to a SQL Compact database. Documents are converted to a byte array and stored as a Binary column, and I am running into SQL Compact's 8K limit for Binary field length. Is there a simple way to get around the 8K limit? I can come up with lots of complicated ways to do it, such as parsing into 8K chunks for storage and reassembling on fetch. But before I get into something that complex, I would like to make sure I can't solve the problem more simply, such as by changing data type. If there is no simple way of getting around the 8K limit, is thare a best practice for storing documents greater than 8K? Thanks for your help.

  Hello there I am trying use a toolbar so that it has three parts part A is aligned left part B is aligned Center part C is aligned right both the right and left i can use the location attribute ... but since there is no center attribute i am not able to center part b. I can use a rich:spacer but this makes the toolbar rigid and when the screen size is reduced the toolbar gets overlapped ... is there any i can center this without the toolbar getting over lapped. Any suggestions or workarounds is welcome cheers

  hello i have a java applet application in which i use rich text area . i write URDU the national language of PAKISTAN. i managed to do so with uni codes. the problem is, when i write urdu in text area and select a font and color for each line it do all of this but when i save this file using UTF-8 encoding and then open it again it shows all text formatted as i choose format of last line. my requirement is to open file as it is saved. i mean each file should have same formatting as i done before saving.

One clear disadvantage of persistent queues is that your application has to "know" about them beforehand. • Add newlines to a text resource in Android?

  I have a custom Dialog that contains only a TextView to display some text in my application. The documentation lists that only the b, i, u, tt, big, small, sup, sub, and strike tags are supported. I really need to add some newlines for readability. Do I need to change to a more complicated layout, or is there some way to encode newlines in the resource? I tried adding br tags, but that did not help.
