• How to pass an int value on UIButton click inside UITableView

  So I have a view controller with a single UITableView that shows a string to the user. But I needed a way to have the user select this object by id using a normal UIButton so I added it as a subview and the click event works as expected. The issue is this - how can I pass an int value to this click event? I've tried using attributes of the button like button.tag or button.accessibilityhint without much success. How do the professionals pass an int value like this? Also it's important that I can get the actual [x intValue] from the int later in the process. A while back I thought I could do this with a simple NSLog(@"the actual selected hat was %d", [obj.idValue intValue]); But this doesn't appear to work (any idea how I can pull the actual int value directly from the variable?).   Hi i have a problem with my Eclipse and the SDK (i have download and install the latest ADT Bundle for windows ) when i start my eclipse i get this problem : This Android SDK requires Android Developer Toolkit version 22.0.0 or above. Current version is 20.0.0. please update your SDK tools to the latest version i have tried the option : Help - check for updates But with no new update find then i try this one : How to Update your ADT to Latest Version In Eclipse go to Help Install New Software ---> Add inside Add Repository write the Name: ADT (or whatever you want) and Location: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ after loading you should get Developer Tools and NDK Plugins check both if you want to use the Native Developer Kit (NDK) in the future or check Developer Tool only click Next Finish But i dont have the option to click next to finish (the back , next and finish options are grey ) Then i try this method : Go here download latest version of ADT-22.0.4.zip (*) At Eclipse > Help > Install new software... > Uncheck Contact all update sites during install to find required software (last bottom preference) that will avoid any unwanted delays during install. then at the same screen (top) Click Add > Archive > select downloaded ADT-X.X.X.zip > follow on screen installation steps But had the same problem when it was to finish the installation.. no option to click ''next'' then i try this one : Help – Install New Software in the ADT menu. Type https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/site.xml in “Work with:” and Enter. You can see the “Developer Tools” item. Select it and click Next. Click Next one more. Click Finish accepting the terms of the license agreements. Click OK in the “Security Warning” window. Let the installer restart ADT after installing the tools.   I wants to create an extension where content script will send message to background page and then on browser action means clicking on extension icon will access that background page and get some data.I am using chrome Version 23.0.1271.64 m on windows8. I am getting following error. Port error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist. I tried to solve the same. but people are using sendRequest which is not supported by chrome20+. i also found solution mentioned for chrome 20+. But not working. Please help.   New to R, and I have a long-ish question: I have a shapefile/map, and I'm aiming to calculate a certain index for every polygon in that map, based on attributes of that polygon and each polygon that neighbors it. I have an adjacency matrix -- which I think is the same as a "1st-order queen contiguity weights matrix", although I'm not sure -- that describes which polygons border which other polygons, e.g., POLYID A B C D E A 0 0 1 0 1 B 0 0 1 0 0 C 1 1 0 1 0 D 0 0 1 0 1 E 1 0 0 1 0 The above indicates, for instance, that polygons 'C' and 'E' adjoin polygon 'A'; polygon 'B' adjoins only polygon 'C', etc. The attribute table I have has one polygon per row: POLYID TOT L10K 10_15K 15_20K ... A 500 24 30 77 ... Where TOT, L10K, etc. are the variables I use to calculate an index. There are 525 polygons/rows in my data, so I'd like to use the adjacency matrix to determine which rows' attributes to incorporate into the calculation of the index of interest. For now, I can calculate the index when I subset the rows that correspond to one 'bundle' of neighboring polygons, and then use a loop (if it's of interest, I'm calculating the Centile Gap Index, a measure of local income segregation). E.g., subsetting the 'neighborhood' of the Detroit City Schools: Detroit <- UNSD00[c(142,150,164,221,226,236,295,327,157,177,178,364,233,373,418,424,449,451,487),] Then record the marginal column proportions and a running total: catprops <- vector() for(i in 4:19) { catprops[(i-3)]<-sum(Detroit[,i])/sum(Detroit[,3]) } catprops <- as.data.frame(catprops) catprops[,2]<-cumsum(catprops[,1]) Columns 4:19 are the necessary ones in the attribute table. • Correct use of a "for...in" loop in javascript?

  Hello everybody, before I ask my question I wanted to let everybody know that I appreciate the fact that there's always somebody out there willing to help, and on my end I'll try to give back to the community as much as I can. Thanks Now, I would like to get some pointers as to how to properly take advantage of the "for...in" loop in JavaScript, I already did some research and tried a couple things but it is still not clear to me how to properly use it. Let's say I have a random number of "select" tags in an HTML form, and I don't require the user to select an option for all of them, they can leave some untouched if they want. However I need to know if they selected none or at least one. The way I'm trying to find out if the user selected any of them is by using the "for...in" loop. For example: var allSelected = $("select option:selected"); var totalSelected = $("select option:selected").length; The first variable produces an array of all the selected options. The second variable tells me how many selected options I have in the form (select tags could be more than one and it changes every time). Now, in order to see if any has been selected I loop through each element (selected option), and retrieve the "value" attribute. The default "option" tag has a value="0", so if any selected option returns a value greater than 0, I know at least one option has been selected, however it does not have to be in order, this is my loop so far: for(var i = 0; i < totalSelected; i++){ var eachOption = $(allSelected[i]).val(); var defaultValue = 0; if(eachOption == defaultValue){ ...redirect to another page }else if(eachOption > defaultValue){ ... I display an alert } } My problem here is that as soon as the "if" matches a 0 value, it sends the user to the next page without testing the rest of the elements in the array, and the user could have selected the second or third options. • dojo dgrid tree, subrows in wrong position

  I have a dgrid, working with tree column plugin. Every time that the user click on the tree, I call the server, catch the subrows(json) and bind it. But when it happens, these subrows are show in wrong position, like the image bellow. The most strange is when I change the pagination, after go back to first page, the subrows stay on the correct place. • Firefox all but freezes during large file upload; Ajax progress bar infeasible; IE6 works fine

  I want to provide a progress bar for my users who upload very large files. I did some reading and implemented what should be a pretty straightforward solution: I have a <form> element that contains an file input element; its target is set to the ID of a hidden iframe. On the server side, there's some Spring magic that attaches an object to the user's session; the progress of the upload can be queried from this object. After submitting the form, I start a repeating Ajax call using setInterval that queries the server for the percent-complete using the aforementioned session object. The call repeats every half-second, skipping the Ajax call if the previous call has not yet completed. I use the data from the call to update the width of an onscreen element. When the server call reports that the upload is complete, I clear the interval timer. I created a 100-megabyte file and uploaded it using my interface. This is using Firefox 3.6.3. What I found is that although the upload takes 20-25 seconds, the progress bar doesn't get updated until the very end. Moreover, the entire browser is basically frozen until the upload completes. I assumed that my method must be flawed, but I tried the same page using IE6, and was utterly amazed when it behaved as I had designed it to--the progress bar got updated every half second, and the whole upload only took about 15 seconds, much faster than Firefox. I don't have many add-ons installed, but I tried disabling Firebug and restarting my browser. This marginally improved the performance--I got perhaps a single additional progress bar update mid-upload--but still far from acceptable. Can anyone tell me what I can do to bring Firefox's performance up to the level of IE6? Ugh, I can't believe I actually typed that. EDIT: I just tried uploading a large file from a Firefox 3.6.3 browser on a different machine than the one that's running my web server, and it worked fine. Huh.

I tried echo $t1["games"][0] INSIDE the function and then calling the function and it doesn't display anything.

I am not a C/C++ expert, and am curious to find out why this happens - any C/C++ experts who can "shed some light" on this? Unrelated note: I seriously thought of rewriting the whole code to use quicksort or merge sort before posting it here. But, after all, it is not Stooge sort...

So for example, the sum of all the weeks in $t1["matches"]["season1.cs"] will be added to $t1["overallSeasons"]["season1.cs"]. • PHP_AUTH_USER only known in certain frames

  Getting very confused by PHP_AUTH_USER. Within my web pages I have .htaccess files in every directory, controlling who can (and cant) see certain folders. In order to further customise the pages I was hoping to use PHP_AUTH_USER within the PHP code, i.e. tailor page contents based on the user. This only seems to work partially. The code snippets below hopefully demonstrate my problems. The main index.php creates a framed page with a menu structure in the top left hand corners, some irrelvant stuff in top right and then the tailor made contents in bottom frame. In top left the user is correctly shown, but in the bottom frame PHP_AUTH_USER doesnt seem to be set anymore (it returns empty and when printing all $HTTP_SERVER_VARS its not listed). Script.php is in a different path, but they all have .htaccess files in them and all other contents is displayed correctly. Why does it not know about PHP_AUTH_USER there?   Hello I am a little confused with regards to models in mvc 4 and thought someone may be able to point me in the right direction. This would be most appreciated. When they first register i do not need all the details such as telephone all i really need is there username, email address and password. Do i create another model for this. Or do i have one model and on the controller set the fields to null or empty string that are not required on registration. I have validation also so would this be set for data that has not been entered on the form. My question is ultimately should all forms represent models- should the database be redesigned to meet this required. Or should the controller set the values that are not required. Or should there be another model that represents the form be created which maps to this table. I am a little confused on this and clarification of anyone would be most appreciated.

• Postfix - am I sending spam?

  today I received like 30 messages within 5 minutes telling me that some mail I send could not be delivered, mostly to *.ru email addresses which I did not send any mail to. I have my own webserver (postfix/dovecot) set up using this guide (http://workaround.org/ispmail/lenny) but adjusted a little bit for Ubuntu. I tested whether I am an Open Relay which I am apparently not. Now there are two possible reasons for the above mentioned emails: Either I am sending out spam, or somebody wants me to think that, correct? How can I check this? I selected one particular address that I supposedly send spam to. Then I searched my mail.log for this entry. I found two blocks that record that somebody from the server connected to my server and delivered some message to two different users. I cannot find an entry reporting that anyone from my server send an email to that server. Does this mean its just some mail to scare me or could it still have been send by me in the first place? • Error starting JBoss 5.1.0

  I've installed JBoss 5.1.0 on a Xubuntu (running as a guest on VMWare - Windows 7 host). It did work fine for some days, but now I'm completelly unable to start it anymore. Every time I try to start it, I got a "Port 8x83 already in use". I've tried to run it with different ports configurations, and none of them works. I did look for the services using the problematic ports, using netstat and lsof, but they never show up. Since this error occurs in all port configurations, I think this is a Jboss problem.   I have a HP Server with SmartArray P400 controller (incl. 256 MB Cache/Battery Backup) with a logicaldrive with replaced failed physicaldrive that does not rebuild. I first tried to add the unassigned drive 2I:1:8 as a spare to logicaldrive 2, but this was not possible: ~# /usr/sbin/hpacucli ctrl slot=0 array B add spares=2I:1:8 Error: This operation is not supported with the current configuration. Use the "show" command on devices to show additional details about the configuration. ~# Interestingly it is possible to add the unassigned drive to the first array without problems. I thought maybe the controller put the array into "failed" state due to the missing spare and protects failed arrays from modification. So I tried was to reenable the logicaldrive (to add the spare afterwards): ~# /usr/sbin/hpacucli ctrl slot=0 ld 2 modify reenable Warning: Any previously existing data on the logical drive may not be valid or recoverable. Continue? (y/n) y Error: This operation is not supported with the current configuration. Use the "show" command on devices to show additional details about the configuration. ~# But as you can see, re-enabling the logicaldrive this was not possible. Now I replaced the failed drive by hotswapping it with the unassigned drive.
