JQuery Dynamic Element - In DOM but unable to bind

Hi All, I'm new to using JQuery so bear with me. I had implmented some code based on a js file that I found online which enables a series of div tags within a nested structure on my page to step through and show each one individually on the page. This all works great when I define the div tags as static entries in the masterpage. I should add that this is being implemented in a SharePoint master page. Ultimately though, with a static collection of div tags ideally containing an image with some descriptive text, and a hyperlink its not very flexible. Roll on my changes to make this a little more configurable. I have implemented some additional code that will read from a SharePoint list via an ajax call to the lists web service. For each entry in the list I am building a div tag that contains the information required dynamically. For testing, I am only pulling the title through at present. I have used the following code: $('#beltDiv').append(divHTML) to append the divs in the loop that are created to my nested structure on the page. I figured that this would cause the fade code to work as expected but I was wrong. It doesn't do anything at all. When check the source on the page, the div tags are not shown. They are however available in the DOM model when viewed through the IE developer toolbar. The issue (I think) looks to be that the initiation of the featureFade code is not working due to the div tags being unavailable. Is there a way to address this? Well, I fixed my original question by including after the closing tags, but now, those links won't open? I've given the field names day, month year, and day1, month1, year1. When clicking submit it takes you to a second php form. I have been trying to make a block of code that finds the index of the largest bid for each item. Then I was going to use the index as a way to identify the person who paid that much moneys name. However no matter what i try I can't link the person and what they have gained from the auction together. How to bind a servlet to a context?

C#: HTTPWebResponse using application/x-www-form-urlencoded

So I sent an HTTPWebRequest using application/x-www-form-urlencoded as my content type. I assume that this means the reponse will be returned in a similar type? (EDIT: Have now been told this isn't the case) My question is this. How do I access the different key/value pairs returned in the response. My code so far looks like this. I can of course read the string but surely there is a better way to access the data other than ripping the string apart. Assume I have 3 or 4 different pieces of information in there how could I read them out? EDIT: I have just checked and the data is being returned as text/plain. How can this be processed easily? CSS 100 percent height body and element

I am having an issue making one of my elements 100% within an overall layout that is 100%. I have tried different positioning solutions and I either end up with hidden content the floats behind the footer at the bottom, or the content ends up going behind the footer, and carrys on after the footer. Ruby on Rails - pass variable to nested form

I am trying to build a multilingual site using Rails, but I can't figure out how to pass variable to nested form. Right now I am creating nested form like this. @languages.each do @article.article_locale.build(:language_id => language.id) end But i would like to pass value of language to it so i can distinguish fields. Something like this. @languages.each do |language| @language = language @article.article_locale.build(:language_id => language.id) end However, I always end up with language of the last loop iteration. Any way to pass this variable? -- edit -- In the end, since I've got no answer I have solved this problem so it, at least, works as it should. Following code is my partial solution. Silverlight debugging, no list element view

When I'm debugging my Silverlight Appliction and I'm using a list internally I cannot hover over the list and see the items inside the list. I just see the RAW view of the list. If I want to see the items I have to write my own code which is tedious. Is this something normal to Silverlight? I DO have the correct list view when debugging in normal Console/WPF/... applications. Example: Silverlight: (link: click) See how there is no 'list view in the first example? How do you reference another element in a xaml list

I'm using xaml as a datastore because It's quick and we haven't yet defined a file format. But I can only seem to create xaml that is a pure tree, even if it is acyclic. I know how to create a list of items in xaml, but How do I share objects in two lists? JQuyer slide and stop issues: animated element freezes with quick mouse movement

Here is Zi JsFiddle. In order to replicate my issue you have to hover over the link that says 'javascript', then mouseout that, then mouseback in. If you do this before the animation is complete, the pink slidedown #subMenu will freeze midway through sliding. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I have tried some .stop()s , but i really don't want the animation to re-start every time you mouseenter or leave the .navLink . The animation should begin from where it left off. In other words, if the pink section is halfway down, and a slideDown() gets executed, the pink should not dissappear and then slide down, it should slide down from where it is. Thanks!! jQuery animate element reveal - bottom to top

I'm trying to animate a horizontal lists appearance. It's a top navigation bar. The following works pretty well, but it animates in from the top (of, I assume, the ul) to the bottom.
