    Hello Everyone I have created the following script in my .htaccess file Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} domain.eu RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^domain RewriteRule ^(.*)$ domain/$1 [L] This script should redirect domain.eu to the domain folder. But when I upload this script i get the internal server 500 error. Any idea's what goes wrong? Thanks

  • TargetProcess 404 error after installation

    I installed TargetProcess on my laptop but when trying to open the corresponding web page (http://localhost/TargetProcess2) I get 404 error. I am running Win7 with IIS7 (7.5.7600.16385), MS SQL 2008 Express. As suggested in Installation guide.pdf I have performed aspnet_regiis.exe -i (however in folder C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 and not in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5.30729.1 because I simply don't have this folder although Ms Web Platform installer says that I have SP1 for NET Framework 3.5 installed)

    I am trying to compile HelloWorld in Java under Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and I get this compiler error: java[51692:903] Can't open input server /Library/InputManagers/Inquisitor It happens when I am using terminal command javac and when I am trying to do this in NetBeans. I was trying to open folder "Inquisitor", but I have no access to folder, even if I login as root user. What is going on?

    I am trying to get a disk image of a SCSI disk using ddrescue on Solaris10 (Sparc). The disk is non-solaris, and ddrescue gets an immediate I/O error (as does dd). I used format to label the disk as Solaris, and now ddrescue reads it fine. Is there any way to get the image without labelling the disk as Solaris?

    I'm getting broken pipe errors from a command that does something like: ls -tr1 /a/path | awk -F '\n' -vpath=/prepend/path/ '{print path$1}' | head -n 50 Essentially I want to list (with absolute path) the oldest X files in a directory. What seems to happen is that the output is correct (I get 50 file paths output) but that when head has output the 50 files it closes stdin causing awk to throw a broken pipe error as it is still outputting more rows.

The permissions on the .dll are set correctly, and nothing else should be preventing access to that file, so what could be causing the problem?

    I am pretty terrified right now. I'm scared I'm going to get a call in a couple minutes from a hundred people saying the website doesn't work. I was at the terminal changing some configuration files when I went to restart the server to update the .conf files with this command: /etc/init.d/apache2 graceful After I ran that, none of the websites work and I have no idea what to do. There are about 100 errors I am getting according to the log files. They all begin with "PHP Notice" and most relate to "use of undefined constant" Also, I just spoke with a coworker, describing what I did, and he noticed that there are two installations of apache on the server and that I restarted the one that we don't use. The problem was (as you experts facepalming probably know) that it couldn't access an error log in the directory I was working in. I created an empty error log file and tried the restart command again and now all the sites are back up... Though my original problem is still there..     I am trying to setup reporting services on a SQL server 2008 and get this error message when I try to connect to the http://localhost/reports The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. I asked the server administrator and the IIS should be running (can't find it under administrative tools though) I used the Reporting Services Configuration manager to setup reporting services and am pretty sure it is setup correct.

    We have a backup application that uses the Windows API BackupRead. It works correctly on Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2. It does not work on Storage Server 2008 R2. It always fails with error 50 - The request is not supported. The documentation for BackupRead gives no indication that it will not work with Storage Server 2008 R2. Anyone else have any experience using this API on Storage Server 2008 R2?

Unable to open logs (2)No such file or directory: apache2: could not open error log file /u/apps/production/madfilmdash/current/log/apache-error.log. Unable to open logs FINAL UPDATE: Ok, I fixed it. The problem was (as you experts facepalming probably know) that it couldn't access an error log in the directory I was working in. I created an empty error log file and tried the restart command again and now all the sites are back up... Though my original problem is still there.. Thanks to all those who offered advice, it really helped and let me breathe for a moment.

  • Set Default 404 error pages across entire instance of IIS

    we are currently using IIS 8 on our new windows VPS. We have a content management system we install for all our apps we build, but we are finding it incredibly painful as our hosting provider requires that we change the default 404 error page from the default settings everytime we create a site. Is there an easy way within IIS to automatically apply this same default directory within each website so we dont need to edit it on every website we build ? thanks in advance

    i'm trying to do point in time restore and following error occurs... and database goes into xxxxx(loading) state... Backup set cannot be applied because it is on a recovery path inconsistent with database i have to do RESTORE DATABASE xxxxx WITH RECOVERY to make it proper... Why its happening?
