    Hi guys, I need some advise to create a script that runs at night on my IMAP mail server, and backup all the mailboxes (50) and once the backup is done, burn such file in a DVD. What could be the best procedure to accomplish an IMAP backup and what tools should I use?.. Thanks

  • PHP 5.3 Not Logging

    I have set error_log = "/var/log/apache2/php_errors.log" and made sure errors were being logged. I have set the file to be owned by the www-data owner and group and even set the permissions to 777. I have confirmed with phpinfo() that the error_log is correctly set, however The logging still only happens in my vhost's apache error log. The following is my php.ini for 5.3.3-7 on Debian Squeeze Apache 2: The top is populated with comments on what I have been interested, or have changed. I have deleted all comments to save space. I would like users to login with their email addresses instead of only with their domain name.   • gmail IMAP on iPhone incorrect message count

    I've got gmail account set up to support IMAP and it works great with Apple Mail, but on the iPhone it shows "Inbox (2)" constantly, even though there's no unread messages. Looking at the logs, I saw that oom-killer had killed these processes, possibly due to running out of memory and swap. Can anyone give me some pointers at how to diagnose what may have caused the most recent incident? Is it likely the first process killed? Where else should I be looking?

    I am using Linux Malware Detect to scan and report on malware, but on a daily basis I receive alerts for malware in users emails (mainly spam folder). I do not want alerts for this, the spam folders are cleaned often, and the users may clean it also. I tried adding wildcards into /usr/local/maldetect/ignore_paths as follows but they are not ignored: /home/*/homes/*/Maildir /home/?/homes/?/Maildir Does anyone know how to exclude folders using wildcards, as it would not be practical to add the full path of every users mail directory.
