  • How do I disable auto- poster image generation on the video tag?

    I'm using the 'poster' attribute on a video tag and the way it seems to work at least in webkit browsers is that it loads the poster image and then once enough of the video has loaded, it replaces that poster with an auto-generated poster from the video file itself. However, my poster images don't match the auto-generated posters which results in a weird experience of one image loading, then being replaced in a few seconds by the auto-generated image. Is there any way to prevent the auto-generated image from being used?

How can I dynamically create different variable names? I'm not sure if that's the right way to ask the question. I want to create like xmlhttp1, xmlhttp2, xmlhttp3, so then I can reference each one.

  • How do I open a different page depending upon if user selects open in new tab or not.

    I am opening links on a page into an IFrame. But if the user right clicks and selects open in new window that will ruin the look I want since it will not have the parent page holding it. So is there a way to open the page as i have it working now when the user clicks on the link but if they choose to open in new tab to have it load the current page all over again in the new window with the link they selected loaded into the IFrame. Can you cache it somehow on the serverside, so requests don't force to server to dynamically generate the entire page every time someone visits it? Or does ASP.NET do this automatically? If so, how does it know if something has changed?

  • Adding object to child collection causes entire collection to load in Fluent NHibernate.

    Hello, I have my Parent object, which contains an ICollection of Children objects. The Children are lazy loaded and I do not need them in the context of my scenario. However, when I try to add a new child object to my Children collection, it kicks off the lazy load and loads all 7000 child records. I assume I am making a newbie mistake. Anybody out there know how I can fix this? Thanks!

The first time it is loaded its works fine but when I refresh all the images are blank. The image data came from XML. I wish to get some tips regarding the browsers and Flash / SWF behavior in each.     i have a question. I need to detect using javacript (or JQuery) when a div is contained inside another and when is not contained anymore. I need something like this: if(div #result).contains (div #dbResults) then{#explainMsg.hide, #errorMsg.hide; if(div #result).not contains (div #dbResults) anymore then {#errorMsg.show}. the "not contains anymore" part is because the div's are added dynamically server side. Obliviously is not the code, but what i need to obtain. thanks

    good day we are developing game for android and have some trouble with resource loading on high dpi devices. our resources are located in res/drawable directory on a standart dpi device the game work properly, but on hdpi (tested on HTC Desire) all resources which located in res/drawable-hdpi load are loaded correctly, but the resources which miss in drawable-hdpi directory but present in res/drawable are ignored but everything works fine on the virtual device with hdpi. does anybody encounter this problem and know how to solve it?
