  • Importing old mysql data folder

    After a reinstall, all of the old data still shows inside the MySQL/data folder, but is not actually loaded into the database. Is there any way to have MySQL scan it's data folder and / or reimport the old folders it has from its previous install? [Some data was changed after the last backup / export - partially my fault - so I would rather it recognize the folders rather than reimporting the SQL files.]

    Hi guys, I'm studying MEF and I'm not able to resolve a problem. I have a main application, called MainMEF, and a simple module, called SimpleModule. This one consists of a single UserControl which is loaded dinamically. When MainMEF starts up, I would be able to pass to the module a reference to main application contained into MainMEF.     Hi, I'm developing an applciation using SQL Compact database in Visual Studio 2008. When I start the application and run the process, the data is being loaded into database for few hours worth of few tens of megabytes. However, when I quite debugging, change something in code (not in DB structure), run the project again, the database is erased. Does anyone know how to prevent this behavior? I need the data to stay in DB to test on it.

  • Tracking image views - PHP

    I'd like for my app to be able to tell if an image hasn't been viewed in the last 30 days and remove it (along with data in the DB associated with it). I know you can have PHP read and output the image dynamically but I've heard its quite taxing on the system. Is there a way to for me to track these hits even when the image is viewed directly? (would htaccess be able to do this?) Thanks in advance.
