    I am converting a large project in VB.NET that is using Option Strict Off into Option Strict On Naturally I am running into the same compilation error over and over. Strict On does not allow implicit conversion from Object to String/Integer/Double Is it possible to to access the compilation errors with a macro and automatically append .ToString() to the erroneous implicit conversion. Essentially my question is a duplicate off http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2532340/tools-to-convert-option-strict-off-code-into-option-strict-on but that question had no answers. Cheers.

  • Jquery galleria - make the first image in the gallery appear automatically

    I've added the excellent galleria-plugin to a website I'm working on. However unlike the demo, I've been unable to make the first image display automatically on page-load. Currently, you have to click an image, before one will appear, after that everything works as expected. And yes, I've tried setting the class of the first image to "active", but without that having any effect. Is there anything obvious I'm missing ?     Hello, We have a series of products with built in web servers each of which has a login page, a customer wants to create a web portal in which they log into once, from there they can simply click on any of the devices (external websites) and it will automatically login to that site and redirect them to the page after the login screen. The portal is using ASP.NET MVC, the external devices are Windows CE based units running embedded web servers. Can find a lot on scraping, but not much on redirection after the event.   • GTK TextView automatically resizing

    I'm messing around with GTK and glade for the first time, and I've run across a really annoying issue. When I enter text into a TextView, the TextView automatically resizes larger, pushing other widgets away. This is a really annoying behavior. I do not want my TextView changing size depending on the amount of text within it. Does anyone know what I can do to prevent the TextView from resizing based on its content?

    Hi, I'd like to write a script that (under certain conditions) will execute gdb and automatically run some program X with some set of arguments Y. Once the program has finished executing the user should remain at gdb's prompt until s/he explicitly exits it. One way to do this would be to have the script output the run command plus arguments Y to some file F and then have the script invoke gdb like this: gdb X < F But is there a way to do this without introducing a temporary file? When reselecting, Visual Studio will automatically add references to System.Deployment, System.Drawing and System.Windows.Forms C# Create a new project with the Empty Project template (Visual C# - Windows) Go to the project properties, and change the Application type to any of the choices. Visual studio will not add references. Question Is there a way to change this behaviour for Visual Basic?

    I have a programmatically created TableLayoutPanel. It works fine but I couldn't find something: how can I make it size columns automatically when the form is resized? The panel is set to Dock.Top and when I resize the form instead of sizing every column as percents, only last column grows. What can I do for this?
