    Hi, We're running Server and Exchange 2003 here. There's a shared calendar which HR keep up-to-date detailing staff who are on leave. I'm looking for a VB Script (or alternate) which will extract the "appointment" titles of each item for the current day and then email the detail to a mail group, in doing so notifying the group with regard to which staff are on leave for the day.     I have a server running Debian Linux which has a built in serial port which is coming up as ttyS0. I have a plug in PCI card with two serial ports that are being registered with Linux as ttyS2 and ttyS3. Unfortunately I am trying to run some software which assumes that ttyS0 and ttyS1 are available. Is it possible to remap the serial port device names (using a udev rule?) such that ttyS0 remains as it is and ttyS2 becomes ttyS1?

    I'm looking for an email address that can be sent to where the mail will just be deleted without a bounce back. RFC 2606 defines example.com as a fictitious domain for documentation. Is there something similar for email? This will be used in printed documentation, needs to be stable (the domain can't go stale or replaced by an NSFW site), and as generic as possible.

  • gmail IMAP on iPhone incorrect message count

    I've got gmail account set up to support IMAP and it works great with Apple Mail, but on the iPhone it shows "Inbox (2)" constantly, even though there's no unread messages. I cannot figure out why. Logged into gmail to see if there were any unread under any labels or boxes, but there is nothing. Any ideas?

Where can I get a list of all IP ranges belonging to Yahoo Messenger so I can configure an "allow" rule in PeerBlock?

    I am running CentOS 5.4 with SpamAssassin installed via yum. However the version yum installed was SpamAssassin version 3.2.5 and I am finding that this version has many outdated rules -- including a rule FH_DATE_PAST_20XX which marks all email from the year 2010 and forward as spam. Not good. yum says SpamAssassin is up to date -- what can I do to make yum keep SpamAssassin really up to date?

    I have a small virtual private server running CentOS and www/mail/db, which has recently had a couple of incidents where the web server and ssh became unresponsive. Looking at the logs, I saw that oom-killer had killed these processes, possibly due to running out of memory and swap. Can anyone give me some pointers at how to diagnose what may have caused the most recent incident? Is it likely the first process killed? Where else should I be looking?
