• Asp.Net MVC How to test that the view rendered

  HI there I was wondering if there is a better way of testing that a view has rendered in MVC. I was thinking perhaps I should render the view to a string but perhaps there are simpler methods? Basically what I want to know if that the view for a given action has rendered without errors I m already testing the view model but I want to see that rendering the view giving a correct ViewData.Model works

  Hi all, I was wondering if there is a way to save my svn password when doing svn operations from the console. The console is the only option that I have. When I try to do any svn action "eg svn commmit," it prompts for the account password every time. Is there a way to save this password somehow so that I don't have to retype it every time? Thanks.

  Hi guys, Setting up some web development stuff with a friend, he's using Versions SVN (paid for by his company) which looks fantastic but is a touch pricey. I was tempted by SVNx but if I'm honest don't like the idea of using command line at all - much prefer a nice and easy to use GUI. I don't mind paying for it if I have to, but I was wondering if there were any really good alternatives? We'll be using Springloops as an SVN fwiw. Thanks

• Should I use Java for a custom Swing component designed for a clojure app?

  I want a simple timeline component (like in video editing software) for a clojure/seesaw app and I am wondering if it is a good approach to implement this directly with clojure and seesaw or if I should write it in java and make my clojure wrapper around it. Or more generally: is a functional programming language optimal for writing UI widgets? I cannot imagine doing that without a lot of state involved. • VS2010 has been released, so what do you hate or love about it?
