• Problem with Japanese/International Characters with IIS7 URL Rewrite

  I have a friend with a Japanese blog, using wordpress, he has the pretty url. Basically domain.com/postname. Well an example of a url might be. "domain.com/???". His blog is hosted on an Apache web server. I am running IIS7 and am trying to get my Japanese blog going like it should, and have "domain.com/???" show just that one post when you visit that url. My thinking is it has something to do with url-encoding. I can't find too much information on utf-8 or anything about getting international characters to work in a url. Any help on this would be great. I am thinking I should change something in the web.config file, but not to sure. I haven't had a lot of experience with IIS7. Thanks.

  I need to define new UI Elements as well as data binding in code because they will be implemented after run-time. Here is a simplified version of what I am trying to do.   I am using the C++ interface to Prolog (the classes and methods of SWI-cpp.h). For working out a simple backtracking that john likes mary and emma and sara: likes(john, mary). likes(john, emma). likes(john, ashley). But I am also trying to get this simple backtracking to work within a class: class UserTaskProlog { public: UserTaskProlog(ArRobot* r); ~UserTaskProlog(); protected: int cycles; char* argv[1]; ArRobot* robot; void logTask(); }; This class works fine, with my cycles variable incrementing every robot cycle. However, it opens SWI-cpp.h file automatically and points to class PlFrame. What is it trying to tell me? I don't see anything wrong with my PlFrame class declaration. Thanks,

  See: http://www.airbnb.com/ In the search bar, start typing "san f" (no quotes, all lowercase), then hit Return (or Enter). "San Francisco" is autocompleted. This is good! Now clear the search field and start over. type "San F" and boom - "San Francisco" is autocompleted as soon as you hit Shift. This is not expected. This happens in FF & Safari, but is untested elsewhere. I've looked through the jQuery Autocomplete Source Code and everything looks normal. Has anyone experienced this before?

  I 've developed an eclipse plugin and in that I have a java file trying to read directories and then populate result accordingly. When I try to run the file from eclipse itself through RunJava application , it gives me proper result but as soon as I try to run the same through Eclipse Application, it is throwing NullPointerException because unable to find the directory. I tried the following ways- Suppose , I have a package as - Package - com.test.abhishek.file.java.TestWork.java Directories - com.test.abhishek.file.java.Dir1 com.test.abhishek.file.java.Dir2 Now in TestWork.java- InputStream is = LGHelpContentView.class.getResourceAsStream("/"+dirName);** The above line is getting failed. How should I keep my directory and where so that it will run as an eclipse plug-in as well.

  Hi, this is a very newbie question, sorry! I need to create an aspx website based con C# and am calling some webservices based on some DLL's I already have. Beforem purchasing Visual Studio, I decided to try Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express (is this ok?) creating a Web Application ASP.NET based on Visual C#. I created the form to enter the data which is submitted when clicking the process button. At this point I need to call stuff from the DLL, which I have added in the Solution Explorer via Add Reference, selecting the DLL from the COM list. But whenever I run the project, I always get the error "the type or namespace xxx cannot be found - maybe a using directive or assembler directive is missing" when trying to create the object. What is my stupid mistake? Thanks!

  I am writing an application that gets its dimensions from the paper ratio of the default printer of the local computer. This all works well unless the default printer is over a VPN. When this is the case, calling GetDefaultPrinter() takes too long. I need to find a way to put a time constraint on GetDefaultPrinter() and if it exceeds that constraint, break out of the function.   I'm attempting to select all <script type="text/html"> tags in a page. I use <script> tags to store HTML templates, similar to how John Resig does it. For some reason, the following jquery selector doesn't seem to be selecting anything: $("script[type*=html]").each(function() { alert("Found script "+this.id); }); This markup is in the BODY of the HTML document: <body> <script id="filter-search" type="text/html"> <dt>Search</dt> <dd><input type="text"/></dd> </script> </body> I've also tried putting it into the HEAD of the HTML document, and it is still not found. No alert is ever shown. If I instead change my code to this: $("script[type*=javascript]").each(function() { alert("Found script "+this.id); }); Then it finds only the scripts in the HEAD that have a src to an external file. Scripts in the actual page are not found.
