    ey i want to make a thing but i need some help. ive got an index.php with codes. and i added "file" parameter to index.php. so i mean if "index.php?file=/folder/folder/picture.png" is set, download file. if "file=" not set do not do anything. I get "file" parameter with $_REQUEST thingy. please help thanks..

  • Database: Storing Dates as Numeric Values

    I'm considering storing some date values as ints. i.e 201003150900 Excepting the fact that I lose any timezone information, is there anything else I should be concerned about with his solution? Any queries using this column would be simple 'where after or before' type lookups. i.e Where datefield is less than 201103000000 (before March next year). currently the app is using MSSQL2005. Any pointers to pitfalls appreciated.

  • Matching 'weird' characters in PHP regex

    I have some strings that need a-strippin': ÃœT: 9.996636,76.294363 Tons of long strings of location codes. A literal regex in PHP won't match them, IE $pattern = /ÃœT:/; echo preg_replace($pattern, "", $row['location']); Won't match/strip anything. (To know it's working, /T:/ does strip the last bit of that string). What's the encoding error doing on here? Alternately, I would accept a concise way to take out just the numbers.

    I was playing around with ASP.NET Web Parts which has a "drop down" div. It's all the way to the right of the page. When I click to bring it up, it goes off the window. I imagine I will need to use a cross platform communication framework that can support named pipes (or other in memory communication), what is the best choice?     It's about html/css/javascript menu ;) I am looking for unified solution to hide extra tabs of horizontal/tabbed menu when it overflows it's container. The initial idea plagiarized from firefox tabs workflow, i.e. when you have too much tabs it will wrap extra ones into collapsible dropdown button "List all tabs". I am thinking to play with overflow:auto in conjunction with javascript, but is there anything like this already implemented or maybe some better idea? Thanks.

  • How do I programmatically set Integrated Windows Authentication in IIS on a .NET web service?

    I have a web service project that needs to be set to use Integrated Windows Authentication after installation. Normally, I would install the web service, then manually go to IIS and make sure the box is checked for Integrated Windows Authentication. There has to be a way to do this through code. I have looked up on using the Installer class. It looks like this is something I could use, but I have not found anything on setting properties programmatically in IIS.
